1:1-18 = Nabi Elia memberitahukan kematian Ahazia
(1) Sesudah Ahab mati, maka memberontaklah Moab terhadap Israel.
(1) 아합 왕이 죽은 뒤에 모압이 이스라엘을 배반했습니다.
(1) {Ahaziah's Messengers Meet Elijah}Now Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab.
(2) Pada suatu hari jatuhlah Ahazia dari kisi-kisi kamar atasnya yang ada di Samaria, lalu menjadi sakit. Kemudian dikirimnyalah utusan-utusan dengan pesan: "Pergilah, mintalah petunjuk kepada Baal-Zebub, allah di Ekron, apakah aku akan sembuh dari penyakit ini."
(2) 아하시야 왕이 사마리아에 있는 그의 이층 방 난간에서 떨어져 크게 다쳤습니다. 그는 명령을 받고 심부름하는 사람들을 보내며 말했습니다. “에그론의 신 바알세붑에게 가서 내 다친 몸이 나을 수 있는지 물어 보아라.”
(2) Ahaziah [the king of Israel] fell through the lattice (grid) in his upper chamber which was in Samaria, and became sick [from the injury]. So he sent messengers, saying to them, "Go, inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, if I will recover from this sickness."
(3) Tetapi berfirmanlah Malaikat TUHAN kepada Elia, orang Tisbe itu: "Bangunlah, berangkatlah menemui utusan-utusan raja Samaria dan katakan kepada mereka: Apakah tidak ada Allah di Israel, sehingga kamu ini pergi untuk meminta petunjuk kepada Baal-Zebub, allah di Ekron?
(3) 여호와의 천사가 디셉 사람 엘리야에게 말했습니다. “일어나 가서 아하시야 왕이 보낸 사람들을 만나라. 그들에게 이렇게 말하여라. ‘이스라엘에 하나님이 안 계셔서 에그론의 신 바알세붑에게 물으러 가느냐?
(3) But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, "Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say to them, 'Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?'
(4) Sebab itu beginilah firman TUHAN: Engkau tidak akan bangun lagi dari tempat tidur, di mana engkau berbaring, sebab engkau pasti akan mati." Lalu pergilah Elia.
(4) 여호와께서 아하시야에게 말씀하셨다. 너는 지금 누워 있는 침대에서 일어나지 못하고 죽을 것이다.’” 그후, 엘리야는 길을 떠나 여호와의 천사가 일러 준 말을 그들에게 그대로 전했습니다.
(4) Therefore this is what the LORD says: 'You [Ahaziah] will not leave the bed on which you lie, but you will certainly die.'" So Elijah departed.
(5) Sesudah utusan-utusan itu kembali kepada raja, berkatalah ia kepada mereka: "Mengapa kamu kembali?"
(5) 그러자 심부름하는 사람들이 즉시 아하시야 왕에게 돌아왔습니다. 아하시야 왕이 그들에게 물었습니다. “왜 돌아왔느냐?”
(5) When the messengers returned to Ahaziah, he said to them, "Why have you returned [so soon]?"
(6) Jawab mereka kepadanya: "Ada seorang datang menemui kami dan berkata kepada kami: Pergilah, kembalilah kepada raja yang telah menyuruh kamu, dan katakanlah kepadanya: Beginilah firman TUHAN: Apakah tidak ada Allah di Israel, sehingga engkau menyuruh meminta petunjuk kepada Baal-Zebub, allah di Ekron? Sebab itu engkau tidak akan bangun lagi dari tempat tidur di mana engkau berbaring, sebab engkau pasti akan mati."
(6) 그들이 대답했습니다. “어떤 사람이 우리에게 오더니 왕께 이렇게 전하라고 했습니다. ‘여호와께서 말씀하셨다. 이스라엘에 하나님이 안 계셔서 에그론의 신 바알세붑에게 물으러 가느냐? 그러므로 너는 지금 누워 있는 침대에서 일어나지 못하고 죽을 것이다.’”
(6) They replied, "A man came up to meet us and said to us, 'Go, return to the king who sent you and tell him, "Thus says the LORD: 'Is it because there is no God in Israel that you send to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not leave the bed on which you lie, but you will certainly die.'"'"
(7) Lalu bertanyalah ia kepada mereka: "Bagaimanakah rupa orang yang telah datang menemui kamu itu dan yang mengatakan perkataan ini kepadamu?"
(7) 아하시야 왕이 그들에게 물었습니다. “그대들을 만나서 그 말을 한 사람이 어떻게 생겼더냐?”
(7) The king asked them, "What was the appearance of the man who came up to meet you and said these things to you?"
(8) Jawab mereka kepadanya: "Seorang yang memakai pakaian bulu, dan ikat pinggang kulit terikat pada pinggangnya." Maka berkatalah ia: "Itu Elia, orang Tisbe!"
(8) 심부름하는 사람들이 대답했습니다. “그 사람은 털옷을 입고, 허리에는 가죽띠를 매고 있었습니다.” 아하시야 왕이 말했습니다. “그 사람은 디셉 사람 엘리야다.”
(8) They answered him, "He was a hairy man with a [wide] leather band bound around his loins." And Ahaziah said, "It is Elijah the Tishbite."
(9) Sesudah itu disuruhnyalah kepada Elia seorang perwira dengan kelima puluh anak buahnya. Orang itu naik menjumpai Elia yang sedang duduk di atas puncak bukit. Berkatalah orang itu kepadanya: "Hai abdi Allah, raja bertitah: Turunlah!"
(9) 아하시야 왕이 오십부장과 그의 부하 오십 명을 엘리야에게 보냈습니다. 그들이 갔을 때, 엘리야는 산꼭대기에 앉아 있었습니다. 오십부장이 엘리야에게 말했습니다. “하나님의 사람이여, 왕이 내려오라고 말씀하셨소.”
(9) Then the king sent to Elijah a captain of fifty with his fifty [fighting men to seize the prophet]. And he went up to him, and behold, he was sitting on the top of a hill. And the captain said to him, "Man of God, the king says, 'Come down.'"
(10) Tetapi Elia menjawab, katanya kepada perwira itu: "Kalau benar aku abdi Allah, biarlah turun api dari langit memakan engkau habis dengan kelima puluh anak buahmu." Maka turunlah api dari langit memakan dia habis dengan kelima puluh anak buahnya.
(10) 엘리야가 대답했습니다. “내가 하나님의 사람이라면, 하늘에서 불이 내려와 너와 네 부하 오십 명을 태워 버릴 것이다.” 그러자 하늘에서 불이 내려와 오십부장과 그의 부하 오십 명을 태워 버렸습니다.
(10) Elijah replied to the captain of fifty, "So if I am a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty [fighting men]." Then fire fell from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.
(11) Kemudian raja menyuruh pula kepadanya seorang perwira yang lain dengan kelima puluh anak buahnya. Lalu orang itu berkata kepada Elia: "Hai abdi Allah, beginilah titah raja: Segeralah turun!"
(11) 아하시야 왕이 다른 오십부장과 그의 부하 오십 명을 엘리야에게 보냈습니다. 오십부장이 엘리야에게 말했습니다. “하나님의 사람이여, 왕의 말씀이오. 어서 내려오시오.”
(11) So King Ahaziah again sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty [fighting men]. And he said to him, "Man of God, thus says the king, 'Come down quickly.'"
(12) Tetapi Elia menjawab mereka: "Kalau benar aku abdi Allah, biarlah turun api dari langit memakan engkau habis dengan kelima puluh anak buahmu!" Maka turunlah api Allah dari langit memakan dia habis dengan kelima puluh anak buahnya.
(12) 엘리야가 대답했습니다. “내가 하나님의 사람이라면, 하늘에서 불이 내려와 너와 네 부하 오십 명을 태워 버릴 것이다.” 그러자 또 하늘에서 불이 내려와 오십부장과 그의 부하 오십 명을 태워 버렸습니다.
(12) Elijah answered them, "If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty [fighting men]." And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.
(13) Kemudian raja menyuruh pula seorang perwira yang ketiga dengan kelima puluh anak buahnya. Lalu naiklah perwira yang ketiga itu dan sesudah sampai, berlututlah ia di depan Elia, serta memohon belas kasihan kepadanya, katanya: "Ya abdi Allah, biarlah kiranya nyawaku dan nyawa kelima puluh orang hamba-hambamu ini berharga di matamu.
(13) 아하시야 왕이 세 번째로 또 다른 오십부장과 그의 부하 오십 명을 엘리야에게 보냈습니다. 세 번째 오십부장이 가서 엘리야 앞에 무릎을 꿇었습니다. 그가 엘리야에게 빌었습니다. “하나님의 사람이여, 내 목숨과 내 부하 오십 명의 목숨을 하찮게 여기지 말아 주십시오.
(13) So Ahaziah again sent a captain of a third fifty with his fifty [fighting men]. And the third captain of fifty went up and came bowed down on his knees before Elijah, and begged him [for compassion] and said to him, "O man of God, please let my life and the lives of your servants, these fifty, be precious in your sight.
(14) Bukankah api sudah turun dari langit memakan habis kedua perwira yang dahulu dengan kelima puluh anak buah mereka? Tetapi sekarang biarlah nyawaku berharga di matamu."
(14) 보십시오. 하늘에서 불이 내려와 먼저 왔던 두 명의 오십부장과 그들의 부하들을 다 태워 버렸습니다. 그러나 이번에는 제 목숨을 귀하게 여겨 주십시오.”
(14) Behold, fire came down from heaven and consumed the first two captains of fifty with their fifties; but now let my life be precious in your sight."
(15) Maka berfirmanlah Malaikat TUHAN kepada Elia: "Turunlah bersama-sama dia, janganlah takut kepadanya!" Lalu bangunlah Elia dan turun bersama-sama dia menghadap raja.
(15) 여호와의 천사가 엘리야에게 말했습니다. “저 사람과 함께 가거라. 저 사람을 두려워하지 마라.” 그리하여 엘리야가 일어나 그 사람과 함께 왕을 보러 갔습니다.
(15) The angel of the LORD said to Elijah, "Go down with him; do not be afraid of him." So he stood and went down with him to the king.
(16) Berkatalah Elia kepada raja: "Beginilah firman TUHAN: Oleh karena engkau telah mengirim utusan-utusan untuk meminta petunjuk kepada Baal-Zebub, allah di Ekron, seolah-olah tidak ada Allah di Israel untuk ditanyakan firman-Nya, maka sebab itu engkau tidak akan bangun lagi dari tempat tidur, di mana engkau berbaring, sebab engkau pasti akan mati."
(16) 엘리야가 아하시야 왕에게 말했습니다. “여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨소. ‘너는 에그론의 신 바알세붑에게 네 병에 관해 물어 보려고 사람들을 보냈다. 이스라엘에는 여쭈어 볼 하나님이 계시지 않다고 생각했느냐? 그러므로 너는 네 병상에서 일어나지 못하고 죽을 것이다.’”
(16) Then Elijah said to Ahaziah, "Thus says the LORD: 'Since you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub, god of Ekron—is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of His word?—therefore you will not leave the bed on which you lie, but will certainly die.'"
(17) Maka matilah raja sesuai dengan firman TUHAN yang dikatakan oleh Elia. Maka Yoram menjadi raja menggantikan dia dalam tahun kedua zaman Yoram bin Yosafat, raja Yehuda, sebab Ahazia tidak mempunyai anak laki-laki.
(17) 아하시야 왕은 여호와께서 엘리야를 통해 하신 말씀대로 죽었습니다. 아하시야 왕은 아들이 없었으므로, 여호람이 아하시야의 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었습니다. 그 때는 여호사밧의 아들 여호람이 유다의 왕으로 있은 지 이 년째 되던 해였습니다.
(17) {Jehoram Reigns over Israel}So Ahaziah [the son of King Ahab] died in accordance with the word of the LORD which Elijah had spoken. And because he had no son, Jehoram [his younger brother] became king [of Israel, the northern kingdom] in his place in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah [the southern kingdom].
(18) Selebihnya dari riwayat Ahazia, apa yang dilakukannya, bukankah semuanya itu tertulis dalam kitab sejarah raja-raja Israel?
(18) 아하시야가 행한, 다른 모든 일은 이스라엘 왕들의 역사책에 적혀 있습니다.
(18) Now the rest of the acts of Ahaziah which he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
