(1) Dalam tahun ketujuh zaman Yehu, Yoas menjadi raja dan empat puluh tahun lamanya ia memerintah di Yerusalem. Nama ibunya ialah Zibya, dari Bersyeba.
(1) 요아스는 예후가 이스라엘 왕으로 있은 지 칠 년째 되던 해에 유다의 왕이 되었습니다. 요아스는 사십 년 동안을 예루살렘에서 다스렸는데, 그의 어머니는 브엘세바 사람인 시비아입니다.
(1) {Joash (Jehoash) Reigns over Judah}In the seventh year of Jehu [king of Israel], Jehoash became king [over Judah], and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Zibiah of Beersheba.
(2) Yoas melakukan apa yang benar di mata TUHAN seumur hidupnya, selama imam Yoyada mengajar dia.
(2) 요아스는 제사장 여호야다가 가르쳐 준 대로 여호와가 보시기에 옳은 일을 했습니다.
(2) Jehoash did right in the sight of the LORD all his days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.
(3) Namun demikian, bukit-bukit pengorbanan tidaklah dijauhkan. Bangsa itu masih mempersembahkan dan membakar korban di bukit-bukit itu.
(3) 그러나 산당은 없애지 않았으므로, 백성들은 여전히 그 곳에서 제사를 지내고 향을 피웠습니다.
(3) Only the high places were not removed; the people were still sacrificing and burning incense [to the LORD] on the high places [rather than at the temple].
(4) Berkatalah Yoas kepada para imam: "Segala uang yang dibawa ke dalam rumah TUHAN sebagai persembahan kudus, yakni uang masuk untuk pencatatan jiwa, uang tebusan jiwa menurut penilaian yang berlaku untuk seseorang, dan segala uang yang dibawa ke dalam rumah TUHAN karena dorongan hati seseorang,
(4) 요아스가 제사장들에게 말했습니다. “백성들이 여호와의 성전에 예물로 바친 모든 돈, 곧 각 사람이 세금으로 바친 돈과 각 사람이 약속하여 바친 돈과 스스로 원해서 바친 돈을 받아 두시오.
(4) {The Temple to Be Repaired}Jehoash said to the priests, "All the money for the dedicated things which is brought into the house of the LORD, in current money, both the money of each man's assessment [for all those bound by vows], and all the money which any man's heart prompts him to bring into the house (temple) of the LORD,
(5) baiklah para imam sendiri menerimanya, masing-masing dari kenalannya, dan memakainya untuk memperbaiki yang rusak pada rumah itu, di mana saja terdapat kerusakan."
(5) 제사장마다 그가 섬기는 백성들에게 돈을 받아서 성전을 수리할 일이 있을 때마다 수리하도록 하시오.”
(5) let the priests receive such contributions for themselves, each from his acquaintance; and they shall repair any breach in the house of the Lord, wherever a breach is found."
(6) Tetapi dalam tahun kedua puluh tiga zaman raja Yoas para imam belum juga memperbaiki kerusakan rumah itu.
(6) 그러나 요아스가 왕이 된 지 이십삼 년째가 되었는데도 제사장들은 성전을 수리하지 않았습니다.
(6) But it came about in the twenty-third year of [the reign of] King Jehoash, that the priests still had not repaired the damages of the Lord's house.
(7) Sebab itu raja Yoas memanggil imam Yoyada, dan imam-imam lain serta berkata kepada mereka: "Mengapa kamu tidak perbaiki kerusakan rumah itu? Maka sekarang, tidak boleh lagi kamu menerima uang dari kenalan-kenalanmu, tetapi serahkanlah itu untuk memperbaiki kerusakan rumah itu."
(7) 요아스 왕은 제사장 여호야다와 다른 제사장들을 불러 이렇게 말했습니다. “어찌하여 성전을 수리하지 않고 있소? 이제부터는 당신들이 섬기는 백성들에게 돈을 받지 말고 그들이 성전을 수리하는 데 직접 바치도록 하시오.”
(7) Then King Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest and the [other] priests and said to them, "Why are you not repairing the damage of the house (temple)? Now then, do not take any more money from your acquaintances, but turn it all over for [the repair of] the damages of the house." [You are no longer responsible for this work. I will take it into my own hands.]
(8) Lalu setujulah para imam itu untuk tidak menerima uang dari rakyat, tetapi merekapun tidak usah lagi memperbaiki kerusakan rumah itu.
(8) 제사장들은 백성에게 돈을 받지 않기로 하고, 또 성전 수리도 자신들이 하지 않고 다른 사람들에게 맡기기로 했습니다.
(8) So the priests agreed that they would receive no [more] money from the people, nor [be responsible to] repair the damages of the house.
(9) Kemudian imam Yoyada mengambil sebuah peti, membuat lobang pada tutupnya dan menaruhnya di samping mezbah, di sebelah kanan apabila orang masuk ke rumah TUHAN. Para imam penjaga pintu menaruh ke dalamnya segala uang yang dibawa orang ke dalam rumah TUHAN.
(9) 제사장 여호야다가 상자 하나를 가져다가 그 위쪽에 구멍을 뚫고 제단 곁에 놓아 두었는데, 그 상자는 성전에 들어가는 백성이 볼 때 오른쪽에 있었습니다. 현관을 지키는 제사장들은 백성이 여호와의 성전으로 가져오는 모든 돈을 그 상자에 넣었습니다.
(9) Then Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in its lid and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one enters the house of the LORD; and the priests who guarded the door put in the chest all the money that was brought [by the people] into the house of the LORD.
(10) Dan apabila dilihat mereka bahwa sudah banyak uang dalam peti itu, maka datanglah panitera raja beserta imam besar, lalu membungkus dan menghitung uang yang terdapat dalam rumah TUHAN itu.
(10) 그 안에 돈이 가득 차면, 왕의 신하와 대제사장이 와서 여호와의 성전에 가져온 돈을 계산하고 그 돈을 자루에 담았습니다.
(10) And whenever they saw that there was a large amount of money in the chest, the king's scribe and the high priest came up and tied it in bags and counted the money that was found in the house of the LORD.
(11) Mereka menyerahkan jumlah uang yang ditentukan ke tangan para pekerja yang diangkat mengawasi rumah TUHAN, dan mereka ini membayarkannya kepada tukang-tukang kayu, kepada tukang-tukang bangunan yang mengerjakan rumah TUHAN itu,
(11) 돈 계산이 끝난 뒤에는 그 돈을 성전 공사를 맡은 사람들에게 주어 여호와의 성전에서 일하는 목수와 돌 쌓는 사람들의 품삯으로 쓰게 했습니다.
(11) Then they gave the money, which was weighed out into the hands of those who were doing the work, who had the oversight of the house of the LORD; and they paid it out to the carpenters and builders who worked on the house (temple) of the LORD,
(12) kepada tukang-tukang tembok dan kepada tukang-tukang pemahat batu; mereka memakainya juga bagi pembelian kayu dan batu pahat untuk memperbaiki rumah TUHAN dan bagi segala pengeluaran untuk memperbaiki rumah itu.
(12) 그리고 그 돈으로 미장이와 석수들에게 품삯을 주고, 여호와의 성전을 수리하는 데 필요한 나무와 돌을 사들이는 데에도 썼습니다. 그 밖에 성전을 수리하는 데에 드는 모든 비용에도 그 돈을 사용했습니다.
(12) and to the masons and stonecutters, and to buy timber and hewn (cut) stone to repair any breach in the house of the LORD, and for all that was laid out for repairing the house.
(13) Tetapi untuk rumah TUHAN tidaklah dibuat pasu perak, pisau, bokor penyiraman, nafiri, atau sesuatu perkakas emas dan perak dari uang yang telah dibawa ke dalam rumah TUHAN itu.
(13) 여호와의 성전으로 들어온 돈으로는 은잔을 만들지도 않았고, 부집게와 그릇, 나팔, 금그릇과 은그릇을 만들 때도 쓰지 않았습니다.
(13) However, there were not made for the house of the LORD basins of silver, snuffers, bowls, trumpets, any gold containers or [other] silver containers, from the money that was brought into the house of the LORD;
(14) Melainkan mereka menyerahkannya kepada para pekerja, supaya dipakai memperbaiki rumah TUHAN.
(14) 그들은 그 돈을 일꾼들에게 주어 여호와의 성전을 수리하는 데에만 쓰게 했습니다.
(14) but they gave that to those who did the work, and with it they repaired the house of the LORD.
(15) Mereka kemudian tidak mengadakan perhitungan dengan orang-orang yang diserahi uang itu untuk memberikannya kepada tukang-tukang, sebab mereka bekerja dengan jujur.
(15) 그들은 일꾼들이 정직했기 때문에 그 돈을 어디에 썼는지 물어 보지 않았습니다.
(15) Moreover, they did not require an accounting from the men into whose hands they placed the money to be paid to those who did the work, for they acted in good faith.
(16) Tetapi uang korban penebus salah dan uang korban penghapus dosa tidaklah dibawa ke dalam rumah TUHAN; semuanya itu adalah bagian para imam.
(16) 허물을 벗는 제사인 속건제의 은과 죄를 씻는 제사인 속죄제의 은은 여호와의 성전에 드리지 않고, 제사장에게 주었습니다.
(16) Money from the guilt offerings and money from the sin offerings was not brought into the house of the LORD [for repairs]; it was for the priests.
(17) Pada waktu itu majulah Hazael, raja Aram, diperanginyalah Gat dan direbutnya. Kemudian Hazael berniat menyerang Yerusalem,
(17) 그 무렵, 아람 왕 하사엘이 가드로 쳐들어와 그 땅을 점령한 후, 이어 예루살렘을 치려고 올라왔습니다.
(17) Then Hazael king of Aram (Syria) went up, fought against Gath [in Philistia], and captured it. And Hazael resolved to go up to Jerusalem.
(18) tetapi Yoas, raja Yehuda, mengambil segala persembahan kudus yang telah dikuduskan oleh para leluhurnya yakni Yosafat, Yoram dan Ahazia, raja-raja Yehuda, dan persembahan-persembahan kudusnya sendiri, juga segala emas yang terdapat dalam perbendaharaan rumah TUHAN dan istana raja. Dikirimkannyalah semuanya itu kepada Hazael, raja Aram, maka tidak jadi lagi Hazael menyerang Yerusalem.
(18) 그러자 유다 왕 요아스는 그의 조상이자 유다의 왕이었던 여호사밧과 여호람, 아하시야가 하나님께 바쳤던 모든 거룩한 물건인 성물을 아람 왕 하사엘에게 보냈습니다. 또 자기가 하나님께 바친 거룩한 물건인 성물과 성전의 보물 창고에 있는 금과 왕궁에 있는 금을 다 하사엘에게 보냈습니다. 그러자 하사엘이 예루살렘에서 물러갔습니다.
(18) So Jehoash the king of Judah took all the sacred things that Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own sacred things and all the gold that was found in the treasuries of the house (temple) of the LORD and of the king's house, and sent them to Hazael king of Aram; and Hazael departed from Jerusalem.
(19) Selebihnya dari riwayat Yoas dan segala yang dilakukannya, bukankah semuanya itu tertulis dalam kitab sejarah raja-raja Yehuda?
(19) 요아스가 행한, 다른 모든 일은 유다 왕들의 역사책에 기록되어 있습니다.
(19) {Joash (Jehoash) Succeeded by Amaziah in Judah}Now the rest of the acts of Joash and everything that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
(20) Pegawai-pegawainya bangkit mengadakan persepakatan, lalu membunuh Yoas di rumah Milo yang letaknya di penurunan ke Sila.
(20) 그의 두 신하가 그를 배신하여 실라로 내려가는 길에 있는 밀로 궁에서 요아스를 죽였습니다.
(20) His servants arose and formed a conspiracy [against him] and struck down Joash [in revenge] at the house of Millo, [on the way] that goes down to Silla.
(21) Yozakar, anak Simeat, dan Yozabad, anak Somer, ialah pegawai-pegawainya yang membunuh dia. Lalu ia dikuburkan di samping nenek moyangnya di kota Daud, maka Amazia, anaknya, menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
(21) 요아스를 죽인 신하들은 시므앗의 아들 요사갈과 소멜의 아들 여호사바드였습니다. 요아스가 죽어 그의 조상들과 함께 다윗 성에 묻혔습니다. 그의 아들 아마샤가 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었습니다.
(21) For Jozacar (Jozachar) the son of Shimeath and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, struck him and he died; and they buried Joash with his fathers in the City of David. Amaziah his son became king in his place.
