5:1-26 = Suku-suku yang di seberang sungai Yordan
(2Sam 3:2-5; 5:13-16; 1Taw 14:3-7)
(1) Anak-anak Ruben, anak sulung Israel. Dialah anak sulung, tetapi karena ia telah melanggar kesucian petiduran ayahnya, maka hak kesulungannya diberikan kepada keturunan dari Yusuf, anak Israel juga, sekalipun tidak tercatat dalam silsilah sebagai anak sulung.
(1) 르우벤은 이스라엘의 맏아들입니다. 그는 맏아들로서 특별한 권리를 누릴 수 있었지만, 아버지의 첩과 잠자리를 같이한 까닭에 이스라엘의 아들인 요셉의 아들들에게 그 특권을 넘겨 주어야 했습니다. 심지어 족보에도 르우벤의 이름은 맏아들로 기록되지 못했습니다.
(1) {Descendants of Reuben}Now [we come to] the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel—for Reuben was the eldest, but because he defiled his father's bed [with Bilhah his father's concubine], his birthright was given to [Manasseh and Ephraim] the sons of Joseph [the favorite] son of Israel, so that he is not enrolled in the genealogy according to the birthright.
(2) Memang Yehudalah yang melebihi saudara-saudaranya, bahkan salah seorang dari antaranya menjadi raja, tetapi hak sulung itu ada pada Yusuf.
(2) 유다는 그의 형제들보다 더 강했고, 그의 집안에서 지도자가 나왔으나 맏아들의 권리는 요셉의 집안에게 돌아갔습니다.
(2) Though Judah prevailed over his brothers, and from him came [David] the leader [and eventually the Messiah], yet the birthright was Joseph's—
(3) Anak-anak Ruben, anak sulung Israel, ialah Henokh, Palu, Hezron dan Karmi.
(3) 이스라엘의 맏아들인 르우벤의 아들은 하녹과 발루와 헤스론과 갈미입니다.
(3) the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
(4) Keturunan Yoel ialah Semaya, anaknya; anak orang ini ialah Gog, anak orang ini ialah Simei;
(4) 요엘의 자손은 이러합니다. 스마야는 요엘의 아들이고, 스마야의 아들은 곡이며, 곡의 아들은 시므이입니다.
(4) The sons of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
(5) anak orang ini ialah Mikha; anak orang ini ialah Reaya; anak orang ini ialah Baal;
(5) 시므이의 아들은 미가이고, 미가의 아들은 르아야이며, 르아야의 아들은 바알입니다.
(5) Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son,
(6) anak orang ini ialah Beera yang diangkut ke dalam pembuangan oleh Tilgat-Pilneser, raja Asyur; dialah pemimpin orang Ruben.
(6) 바알의 아들은 브에라이고, 브에라는 르우벤 지파의 지도자입니다. 앗시리아 왕 디글랏빌레셀이 브에라를 사로잡아 갔습니다.
(6) Beerah his son, whom Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria carried away into exile; he was a leader of the tribe of Reuben.
(7) Saudara-saudaranya menurut kaum-kaumnya, seperti tercatat dalam silsilah menurut keturunan mereka, ialah Yeiel, kepala, lalu Zakharia,
(7) 요엘의 형제들과 그의 전체 가문은 그들의 족보에 적혀 있는 대로입니다. 여이엘이 족장이고, 그 다음이 스가랴와
(7) And his brothers (relatives) by their families, in the genealogy of their generations, were the chief Jeiel, and Zechariah,
(8) dan Bela bin Azas bin Sema bin Yoel; dialah yang diam di Aroer dan wilayahnya sampai ke Nebo dan Baal-Meon.
(8) 벨라입니다. 벨라는 아사스의 아들이고, 아사스는 세마의 아들이며, 세마는 요엘의 아들입니다. 그들은 느보 산과 바알므온까지 이르는 아로엘 지역에서 살았습니다.
(8) Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who lived in Aroer as far as Nebo and Baal-meon.
(9) Dan ke sebelah timur wilayahnya sampai ke pinggir padang gurun yang terbentang mulai dari sungai Efrat, sebab ternak mereka telah bertambah banyak di tanah Gilead.
(9) 그들은 또한 동쪽에서도 살았습니다. 그들의 땅은 유프라테스 강가의 사막까지 이르렀습니다. 길르앗 땅에서 살기에는 가축이 너무 많았기 때문에 그 곳으로 옮겨가 살았습니다.
(9) To the east Bela settled as far as the entrance into the desert from the river Euphrates, because their cattle had multiplied in the land of Gilead.
(10) Di zaman Saul mereka melakukan perang melawan orang Hagri; setelah orang-orang ini jatuh ke dalam tangan mereka, maka mereka diam di kemah-kemah orang-orang itu di seluruh sisi timur Gilead.
(10) 사울이 왕이 되었을 때, 벨라의 자손은 하갈 사람들과 싸워서 그들을 물리치고, 하갈 사람들의 장막에서 살았습니다. 그들은 길르앗 동쪽의 모든 지역에서 살았습니다.
(10) In the days of King Saul they made war with the Hagrites, who fell by their hands; and they lived in their tents throughout all the land east of Gilead.
(11) Bani Gad diam berbatasan dengan mereka di tanah Basan sampai Salkha.
(11) 갓 지파 사람들은 르우벤 자손 가까이에서 살았습니다. 갓 자손은 살르가까지 이르는 바산 땅에서 살았습니다.
(11) {Descendants of Gad}The sons of Gad lived opposite them in the land of Bashan, as far as Salecah:
(12) Yoel adalah kepala dan Safam orang kedua; juga Yaenai dan Safat diam di Basan.
(12) 요엘이 족장이고, 그 다음 인물은 사밤입니다. 야내와 사밧도 지도자입니다.
(12) Joel was the chief, Shapham the second, then Janai and Shaphat in Bashan.
(13) Saudara-saudara mereka menurut puak-puak mereka ialah Mikhael, Mesulam, Syeba, Yorai, Yakan, Ziya dan Eber, tujuh orang.
(13) 갓 자손의 친척은 미가엘과 므술람과 세바와 요래와 야간과 시아와 에벨로서 모두 일곱 명입니다.
(13) Their relatives from the households of their fathers: Michael, Meshullam, Sheba, Jorai, Jacan, Zia, and Eber—seven in all.
(14) Itulah anak-anak Abihail bin Huri bin Yaroah bin Gilead bin Mikhael bin Yesisai bin Yahdo bin Bus.
(14) 이들은 아비하일의 자손입니다. 아비하일은 후리의 아들이고, 후리는 야로아의 아들입니다. 야로아는 길르앗의 아들이고, 길르앗은 미가엘의 아들입니다. 미가엘은 여시새의 아들이고, 여시새는 야도의 아들입니다. 야도는 부스의 아들입니다.
(14) These were the sons of Abihail the son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz;
(15) Ahi bin Abdiel bin Guni ialah salah seorang kepala puak mereka.
(15) 아히는 압디엘의 아들이고, 압디엘은 구니의 아들입니다. 아히는 그들 집안의 지도자입니다.
(15) Ahi the son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, was chief in their fathers' households.
(16) Mereka diam di Gilead, di Basan, dan di segala anak kotanya dan di segala tanah penggembalaan Saron sampai ke ujung-ujungnya.
(16) 갓 자손은 길르앗과 바산과 바산 근처의 작은 마을들에서 살았습니다. 그들은 또한 사론의 모든 목장 끝에까지 퍼져 살았습니다.
(16) They lived in Gilead, in Bashan and in its towns, and in all the [surrounding] pasture lands of Sharon, as far as their borders.
(17) Mereka sekalian dicatat dalam silsilah pada zaman Yotam, raja Yehuda, dan pada zaman Yerobeam, raja Israel.
(17) 유다 왕 요담과 이스라엘 왕 여로보암 때에 이들의 이름은 모두 갓 가문의 족보에 올랐습니다.
(17) All these were enrolled in the genealogies in the days of Jotham king of Judah and in the days of Jeroboam [II] king of Israel.
(18) Dari bani Ruben, orang Gad dan setengah suku Manasye ada empat puluh empat ribu tujuh ratus enam puluh orang yang sanggup berperang, orang-orang yang tangkas, yang dapat memanggul perisai dan pedang dan melentur busur panah, yang terlatih dalam bertempur.
(18) 르우벤과 갓과 동쪽 므낫세 반 지파는 사만 사천칠백육십 명의 군인을 두고 있었습니다. 그들은 방패와 칼을 쓸 줄 알고 활도 잘 다루는 용감한 군인들로서 전쟁 용사들입니다.
(18) The sons of Reuben, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh—valiant men able to bear shield and sword, and to shoot with the bow, and skillful in war—were 44,760 who went to war.
(19) Mereka itu melakukan perang melawan orang Hagri, Yetur, Nafish dan Nodab.
(19) 그들은 하갈 사람과 여두르와 나비스와 노답 백성과 전쟁을 했습니다.
(19) And these Israelites, [on the east side of the Jordan River] made war with the Hagrites [a tribe of northern Arabia], Jetur, Naphish, and Nodab.
(20) Mereka mendapat bantuan melawan orang-orang itu, sehingga orang Hagri itu dengan semua orang yang mengikutinya menyerahkan diri ke dalam tangan mereka, sebab mereka telah berseru kepada Allah dalam pertempuran itu. Maka Ia mengabulkan permintaan mereka, sebab mereka percaya kepada-Nya.
(20) 르우벤과 갓과 동쪽 므낫세 반 지파 군인들은 전쟁을 할 때, 하나님께 도와 달라고 기도드렸습니다. 그들이 하나님을 믿고 의지하니, 하나님께서는 그들이 하갈 사람들을 물리칠 수 있게 도와 주셨습니다. 그리하여 마침내 하갈 사람들과 힘을 합해 싸운 사람들까지도 모두 물리쳤습니다.
(20) They were given help against them, and the Hagrites were handed over to them, and all who were allied with them; for they cried out to God [for help] in the battle; and He granted their entreaty because they relied on and trusted in Him.
(21) Mereka mengangkut ternak orang-orang itu sebagai jarahan: untanya lima puluh ribu ekor, kambing domba dua ratus lima puluh ribu ekor dan keledai dua ribu ekor, juga manusia seratus ribu jiwa.
(21) 그들은 하갈 사람들이 가지고 있었던 낙타 오만 마리와 양 이십오만 마리와 나귀 이천 마리를 빼앗았으며 십만 명의 사람을 사로잡았습니다.
(21) These Israelites took away their livestock: their 50,000 camels, and 250,000 sheep, and 2,000 donkeys; and 100,000 people.
(22) Banyak orang yang tewas karena mati terbunuh, sebab pertempuran itu adalah dari pada Allah. Lalu mereka menduduki tempat orang-orang itu sampai waktu pembuangan.
(22) 하갈 사람들이 많이 죽었습니다. 하나님께서 르우벤과 갓과 므낫세 자손을 도와 주셨으므로, 그들은 바빌로니아 사람들에게 사로잡혀 갈 때까지 그 곳에서 살았습니다.
(22) For a great number fell mortally wounded, because the battle was of God. And these Israelites settled in their territory until the exile [by Assyria more than five centuries later].
(23) Setengah suku Manasye diam di negeri itu mulai dari Basan sampai Baal-Hermon, Senir dan gunung Hermon. Mereka sudah banyak jumlahnya.
(23) 동쪽 므낫세 반 지파에는 많은 백성이 있었습니다. 그들은 바산에서부터 바알헤르몬과 스닐과 헤르몬 산까지 이르는 땅 전체에 흩어져 살았습니다.
(23) {Descendants of Manasseh}Now the sons (people) of the half-tribe of Manasseh lived in the land; their settlements spread from Bashan to Baal-hermon and Senir and Mount Hermon.
(24) Inilah para kepala puak-puak mereka: Hefer, Yisei, Eliel, Azriel, Yeremia, Hodawya dan Yahdiel, orang-orang pahlawan yang gagah perkasa, orang-orang yang kenamaan, para kepala puak-puak mereka.
(24) 각 가문의 지도자는 에벨과 이시와 엘리엘과 아스리엘과 예레미야와 호다위야와 야디엘입니다. 이들은 모두 용감하고 유명한 사람들로서 각 가문의 지도자입니다.
(24) These were the heads of their fathers' households: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, warriors of valor [willing and able to encounter danger], famous men, and heads of the households of their fathers.
(25) Tetapi ketika mereka berubah setia terhadap Allah nenek moyang mereka dan berzinah dengan mengikuti segala allah bangsa-bangsa negeri yang telah dimusnahkan Allah dari depan mereka,
(25) 그러나 그들은 그들의 조상이 섬기던 하나님께 죄를 지었습니다. 그들은 그 땅의 백성 곧 하나님께서 멸망시킨 백성의 신들을 섬기기 시작했습니다.
(25) But they acted treacherously against the God of their fathers and played the prostitute with the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them.
(26) maka Allah Israel menggerakkan hati Pul, yakni Tilgat-Pilneser, raja Asyur, lalu raja itu mengangkut mereka ke dalam pembuangan, yaitu orang Ruben, orang Gad dan setengah suku Manasye. Ia membawa mereka ke Halah, Habor, Hara dan sungai negeri Gozan; demikianlah mereka ada di sana sampai hari ini.
(26) 이스라엘 하나님께서 디글랏빌레셀이라고도 하는 앗시리아의 불 왕의 마음을 움직이셔서 전쟁을 일으키게 하셨습니다. 불 왕은 르우벤과 갓과 동쪽 므낫세 반 지파의 백성을 사로잡아서 할라와 하볼과 하라와 고산 강가로 끌고 갔습니다. 그래서 그들은 지금까지 거기에서 살고 있습니다.
(26) So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul, king of Assyria, [that is,] the spirit of Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away into exile—the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh—and brought them to Halah, Habor, Hara, and the river Gozan, [where they remain] to this day.
