(1) Azarya bin Oded dihinggapi Roh Allah.
(1) 하나님의 영이 오뎃의 아들 아사랴에게 들어갔습니다.
(1) {The Prophet Azariah Warns Asa}Now the Spirit of God came on Azariah the son of Oded,
(2) Ia pergi menemui Asa dan berkata kepadanya: "Dengarlah kepadaku, Asa dan seluruh Yehuda dan Benyamin! TUHAN beserta dengan kamu bilamana kamu beserta dengan Dia. Bilamana kamu mencari-Nya, Ia berkenan ditemui olehmu, tetapi bilamana kamu meninggalkan-Nya, kamu akan ditinggalkan-Nya.
(2) 아사랴가 아사를 만나서 말했습니다. “아사 왕과 온 유다와 베냐민 백성은 내 말을 들으시오. 여러분이 여호와와 함께 있는 한, 여호와도 여러분과 함께 계실 것이오. 여러분이 주를 찾으면 찾을 수 있겠지만, 주를 버리면 주께서도 여러분을 버리실 것이오.
(2) and he went out to meet Asa and said to him, "Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: the LORD is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him [inquiring for and of Him, as your soul's first necessity], He will let you find Him; but if you abandon (turn away from) Him, He will abandon (turn away from) you.
(3) Lama sekali Israel tanpa Allah yang benar, tanpa ajaran dari pada imam dan tanpa hukum.
(3) 이스라엘은 오랫동안, 참된 하나님 없이 살아 왔소. 그리고 그들을 가르칠 제사장도 없었고 율법도 없었소.
(3) Now for a long time Israel was without the true God and without a teaching priest, and without [God's] law.
(4) Tetapi dalam kesesakan mereka berbalik kepada TUHAN, Allah orang Israel. Mereka mencari-Nya, dan Ia berkenan ditemui oleh mereka.
(4) 그러나 그들은 어려움을 당하면, 이스라엘의 여호와 하나님께 다시 돌아왔소. 주를 구하여 찾았소. 그러면 주께서 저희들을 만나 주셨소.
(4) But when they were in their trouble and distress they turned to the LORD God of Israel, and [in desperation earnestly] sought Him, and He let them find Him.
(5) Pada zaman itu tidak dapat orang pergi dan pulang dengan selamat, karena terdapat kekacauan yang besar di antara segenap penduduk daerah-daerah.
(5) 그 때는 아무도 마음놓고 다닐 수 없었소. 온 나라에 재앙이 가득했소.
(5) In those times there was no peace for him who went out or for him who came in, for great suffering came on all the inhabitants of the lands.
(6) Bangsa menghancurkan bangsa, kota menghancurkan kota, karena Allah mengacaukan mereka dengan berbagai-bagai kesesakan.
(6) 한 나라가 다른 나라를 멸망시키고, 한 성이 다른 성을 멸망시켰소. 그것은 하나님께서 온갖 재앙으로 그들을 괴롭히셨기 때문이오.
(6) Nation was crushed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every kind of distress.
(7) Tetapi kamu ini, kuatkanlah hatimu, jangan lemah semangatmu, karena ada upah bagi usahamu!"
(7) 그러나 여러분은 힘을 내시오. 낙심하지 마시오. 여러분이 한 좋은 일에 대해 상이 있을 것이오.”
(7) But as for you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is reward for your work."
(8) Ketika Asa mendengar perkataan nubuat yang diucapkan oleh nabi Azarya bin Oded itu, ia menguatkan hatinya dan menyingkirkan dewa-dewa kejijikan dari seluruh tanah Yehuda dan Benyamin dan dari kota-kota yang direbutnya di pegunungan Efraim. Ia membaharui mezbah TUHAN yang ada di depan balai Bait Suci TUHAN.
(8) 아사는 이 모든 말과 예언자 오뎃의 예언을 듣고 용기를 내어, 온 유다와 베냐민에서 역겨운 우상들을 없애 버렸습니다. 그리고 그가 에브라임 산지에서 빼앗은 성에서도 우상들을 없애 버렸습니다. 아사는 성전의 현관 앞에 있는 여호와의 제단을 고쳤습니다.
(8) {Asa's Reforms}And when Asa heard these words, the prophecy of Azariah the son of Oded the prophet, he took courage and removed the repulsive idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities which he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. Then he restored the altar [of burnt offering] of the LORD which was in front of the porch [of the temple] of the LORD.
(9) Ia mengumpulkan seluruh Yehuda dan Benyamin dan orang-orang Efraim, Manasye dan Simeon yang tinggal di antara mereka sebagai orang asing. Sebab dari Israel banyak yang menyeberang memihak kepadanya ketika mereka melihat bahwa TUHAN, Allahnya, beserta dengan dia.
(9) 그런 다음에 아사는 유다와 베냐민의 모든 백성을 불러모았습니다. 그리고 유다에 사는 에브라임과 므낫세와 시므온 지파의 백성도 불러모았습니다. 아사의 하나님 여호와께서 아사와 함께 계시는 것을 보고, 이스라엘에서도 많은 백성이 왔습니다.
(9) He gathered all Judah and Benjamin and the strangers who were with them out of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon, for they came over to Asa from Israel in large numbers when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.
(10) Mereka berkumpul di Yerusalem pada bulan ketiga tahun kelima belas dari pemerintahan Asa.
(10) 아사와 모든 백성은 예루살렘에 모였습니다. 그 때는 아사가 왕으로 있은 지 십오 년째 되던 해의 셋째 달이었습니다.
(10) So they assembled at Jerusalem in the third month of the fifteenth year of Asa's reign.
(11) Pada hari itu mereka mempersembahkan kepada TUHAN tujuh ratus lembu sapi dan tujuh ribu kambing domba dari jarahan yang mereka bawa pulang.
(11) 그들은 그 때에 여호와께 소 칠백 마리와 양 칠천 마리를 바쳤습니다. 그 짐승들은 적에게서 빼앗아 온 것입니다.
(11) They sacrificed to the LORD on that day from the spoil they had brought—700 oxen and 7,000 sheep.
(12) Mereka mengadakan perjanjian untuk mencari TUHAN, Allah nenek moyang mereka, dengan segenap hati dan jiwa.
(12) 그런 다음에 그들은 언약을 맺었습니다. 그들은 마음을 다해 그들의 조상이 섬기던 여호와 하나님을 따르기로 약속했습니다.
(12) They entered into a covenant (solemn agreement) to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and soul;
(13) Setiap orang, baik anak-anak atau orang dewasa, baik laki-laki atau perempuan, yang tidak mencari TUHAN, Allah Israel, harus dihukum mati.
(13) 누구든지 이스라엘의 하나님이신 여호와를 따르지 않는 사람은 죽이기로 했습니다. 그 사람이 귀한 사람이든지 귀하지 않은 사람이든지, 남자든지 여자든지 가리지 않고 죽이기로 했습니다.
(13) and that whoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.
(14) Mereka bersumpah setia kepada TUHAN dengan suara yang nyaring, dengan sorak-sorai dan dengan tiupan nafiri dan sangkakala.
(14) 아사와 모든 백성은 여호와 앞에서 맹세를 했습니다. 그들은 큰 소리로 함성을 질렀습니다. 그리고 피리와 나팔을 불었습니다.
(14) They swore an oath to the LORD with a loud voice, with [jubilant] shouting, with trumpets, and with horns.
(15) Seluruh Yehuda bersukaria atas sumpah itu, karena dengan segenap hati mereka bersumpah setia dan dengan kehendak yang bulat mereka mencari TUHAN. TUHAN berkenan ditemui oleh mereka dan mengaruniakan keamanan kepada mereka di segala penjuru.
(15) 온 유다 백성은 그런 맹세를 한 것이 기뻤습니다. 그들은 마음을 다해서 맹세했습니다. 그들은 하나님을 구하여 찾았습니다. 그래서 여호와께서도 그들을 만나 주셨습니다.
(15) All Judah rejoiced over the oath, for they had sworn with all their heart and had sought Him with their whole heart, and He let them find Him. So the LORD gave them rest on every side.
(16) Bahkan raja Asa memecat Maakha, neneknya, dari pangkat ibu suri, karena neneknya itu membuat patung Asyera yang keji. Asa merobohkan patung yang keji itu, menumbuknya sampai halus dan membakarnya di lembah Kidron.
(16) 아사 왕은 자기 어머니 마아가를 태후의 자리에서 물러나게 했습니다. 그것은 마아가가 주께서 역겨워하시는 아세라 우상을 만들었기 때문입니다. 아사는 그 우상을 베어서 토막을 낸 다음에 기드론 골짜기에서 불태워 버렸습니다.
(16) He also removed Maacah, King Asa's mother, from the position of queen mother, because she had made a repulsive image for [the goddess] Asherah. Asa cut down her idol, crushed it, and burned it at the Brook Kidron.
(17) Sekalipun bukit-bukit pengorbanan tidak dijauhkan dari Israel, namun hati Asa tulus ikhlas sepanjang umurnya.
(17) 그러나 헛된 신들을 섬기던 산당들이 유다에서 다 없어진 것은 아니었습니다. 아사는 평생토록 온전한 마음으로 주를 섬겼습니다.
(17) But the high places [of pagan worship] were not removed from Israel. Nevertheless Asa's heart was blameless all his days.
(18) Ia membawa persembahan-persembahan kudus ayahnya dan persembahan-persembahan kudusnya sendiri ke rumah Allah, yakni emas dan perak serta barang-barang lain.
(18) 아사는 자기와 자기 아버지의 거룩한 예물을 하나님의 성전에 바쳤습니다. 그 예물은 금과 은으로 만들어진 것입니다.
(18) He brought the things that his father [Abijah] had dedicated and those things that he had dedicated into the house of God—silver and gold and utensils.
(19) Tidak ada perang sampai pada tahun ketiga puluh lima pemerintahan Asa.
(19) 아사가 왕으로 있은 지 삼십오 년째 되던 해까지 전쟁이 없었습니다.
(19) And there was no war until the thirty-fifth year of Asa's reign.
