1:1-11 = Doa Nehemia bagi orang Israel
(1) Riwayat Nehemia bin Hakhalya. Pada bulan Kislew tahun kedua puluh, ketika aku ada di puri Susan,
(1) 다음은 하가랴의 아들 느헤미야의 말입니다. 나 느헤미야가 아닥사스다 왕 이십 년 기슬르 월에 페르시아의 수도인 수산에 있을 때의 일입니다.
(1) {Nehemiah's Grief for the Exiles}The words of Nehemiah son of Hacaliah: Now it happened in the month of Chislev, in the twentieth year [of the Persian king], as I was in the capitol of Susa,
(2) datanglah Hanani, salah seorang dari saudara-saudaraku dengan beberapa orang dari Yehuda. Aku menanyakan mereka tentang orang-orang Yahudi yang terluput, yang terhindar dari penawanan dan tentang Yerusalem.
(2) 나의 형제인 하나니가 다른 사람들과 함께 유다에서 왔습니다. 나는 그들에게 포로로 끌려오지 않고 남아 있는 유다 사람들이 잘 있는지, 그리고 예루살렘은 어떠한지 물었습니다.
(2) Hanani, one of my brothers, and some men from Judah came; and I asked them about the surviving Jews who had escaped and survived the captivity, and about Jerusalem.
(3) Kata mereka kepadaku: "Orang-orang yang masih tinggal di daerah sana, yang terhindar dari penawanan, ada dalam kesukaran besar dan dalam keadaan tercela. Tembok Yerusalem telah terbongkar dan pintu-pintu gerbangnya telah terbakar."
(3) 그들이 대답했습니다. “포로로 끌려오지 않고 유다 지방에 남아 있는 사람들은 많은 고생을 하고 있으며 멸시당하고 있습니다. 예루살렘 성벽은 무너졌고 그 성문들은 불타 버렸습니다.”
(3) They said to me, "The remnant there in the province who survived the captivity are in great distress and reproach; the wall of Jerusalem is broken down and its [fortified] gates have been burned (destroyed) by fire."
(4) Ketika kudengar berita ini, duduklah aku menangis dan berkabung selama beberapa hari. Aku berpuasa dan berdoa ke hadirat Allah semesta langit,
(4) 나는 그 말을 듣고 자리에 주저앉아 여러 날 동안, 울었습니다. 슬퍼서 음식도 먹지 않았습니다. 그리고 하늘의 하나님께 기도드렸습니다.
(4) Now it came about when I heard these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for days; and I was fasting and praying [constantly] before the God of heaven.
(5) kataku: "Ya, TUHAN, Allah semesta langit, Allah yang maha besar dan dahsyat, yang berpegang pada perjanjian dan kasih setia-Nya terhadap orang yang kasih kepada-Nya dan tetap mengikuti perintah-perintah-Nya,
(5) 나는 이렇게 기도했습니다. “하늘의 하나님이신 여호와여, 여호와는 위대하고 두려운 하나님이시며, 주를 사랑하고 주의 계명을 지키는 사람들에게 사랑의 언약을 지키시는 하나님이십니다.
(5) And I said, "Please, O LORD God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps the covenant and lovingkindness for those who love Him and keep His commandments,
(6) berilah telinga-Mu dan bukalah mata-Mu dan dengarkanlah doa hamba-Mu yang sekarang kupanjatkan ke hadirat-Mu siang dan malam bagi orang Israel, hamba-hamba-Mu itu, dengan mengaku segala dosa yang kami orang Israel telah lakukan terhadap-Mu. Juga aku dan kaum keluargaku telah berbuat dosa.
(6) 주의 종이 이스라엘을 위해 밤낮으로 드리는 기도를 꼭 들어 주십시오. 저희 이스라엘 백성이 주께 지은 죄를 제가 고백합니다. 제 아비의 집과 저 역시 주께 죄를 지었습니다.
(6) please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open to hear the prayer of Your servant which I am praying before You, day and night, on behalf of Your servants, the sons (descendants) of Israel (Jacob), confessing the sins of the sons of Israel which we have committed against You; I and my father's house have sinned.
(7) Kami telah sangat bersalah terhadap-Mu dan tidak mengikuti perintah-perintah, ketetapan-ketetapan dan peraturan-peraturan yang telah Kauperintahkan kepada Musa, hamba-Mu itu.
(7) 저희가 주께 큰 잘못을 저질렀습니다. 주께서 주의 종 모세에게 주신 계명과 규례와 율법을 저희가 지키지 않았습니다.
(7) We have acted very corruptly against You and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses.
(8) Ingatlah akan firman yang Kaupesan kepada Musa, hamba-Mu itu, yakni: Bila kamu berubah setia, kamu akan Kucerai-beraikan di antara bangsa-bangsa.
(8) 주의 종 모세에게 말씀하신 것을 기억해 주십시오. 주님께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. ‘만약 너희가 죄를 짓는다면, 내가 너희를 나라들 가운데 흩어 놓겠다.
(8) Please remember the word which You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, 'If you are unfaithful and violate your obligations to Me I will scatter you [abroad] among the peoples;
(9) Tetapi, bila kamu berbalik kepada-Ku dan tetap mengikuti perintah-perintah-serta melakukannya, maka sekalipun orang-orang buanganmu ada di ujung langit, akan Kukumpulkan mereka kembali dan Kubawa ke tempat yang telah Kupilih untuk membuat nama-Ku diam di sana.
(9) 그러나 나에게 돌아와 내 명령을 따르고 지키면 흩어진 백성이 땅 끝에 있더라도, 내가 그들을 모을 것이다. 그리고 그들을 나의 이름을 두려고 택한 곳으로 데려올 것이다.’
(9) but if you return to Me and keep My commandments and do them, though those of you who have been scattered are in the most remote part of the heavens, I will gather them from there and will bring them to the place where I have chosen for My Name to dwell.'
(10) Bukankah mereka ini hamba-hamba-Mu dan umat-Mu yang telah Kaubebaskan dengan kekuatan-Mu yang besar dan dengan tangan-Mu yang kuat?
(10) 주께서는 그들을 크신 능력과 힘으로 구원하셨습니다.
(10) Now they are Your servants and Your people whom You have redeemed by Your great power and by Your strong hand.
(11) Ya, Tuhan, berilah telinga kepada doa hamba-Mu ini dan kepada doa hamba-hamba-Mu yang rela takut akan nama-Mu, dan biarlah hamba-Mu berhasil hari ini dan mendapat belas kasihan dari orang ini." Ketika itu aku ini juru minuman raja.
(11) 주여, 주의 종인 제 기도를 꼭 들어 주십시오. 그리고 주의 이름을 섬기려는 주의 종들이 드리는 기도를 들어 주십시오. 이제 주의 종인 제가 하는 일이 잘 되게 해 주십시오. 페르시아의 왕이 저를 돕게 해 주십시오.” 그 때, 나는 왕에게 술을 따라 올리던 사람이었습니다.
(11) Please, O Lord, let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant and the prayer of Your servants who delight to [reverently] fear Your Name [Your essence, Your nature, Your attributes, with awe]; and make Your servant successful this day and grant him compassion in the sight of this man [the king]." For I was cupbearer to the king [of Persia].
