(sambungan dari) 16:1 - 17:16 = Ayub mengeluh tentang perlakuan Allah
(1) Semangatku patah, umurku telah habis, dan bagiku tersedia kuburan.
(1) “내 호흡이 거칠어지고, 죽음이 가까웠으니, 무덤만이 나를 기다리고 있구나.
(1) {Job Says He Has Become a Byword}"My spirit is broken, my days are extinguished, The grave is ready for me.
(2) Sesungguhnya, aku menjadi ejekan; mataku terpaksa menyaksikan tantangan mereka.
(2) 아, 나를 조롱하는 사람들만 내 곁에 있으니 내 눈은 날 조롱하는 저들을 보아야 하는구나.
(2) "Surely there are mockers and mockery with me, And my eye gazes on their obstinacy and provocation.
(3) Biarlah Engkau menjadi jaminanku bagi-Mu sendiri! Siapa lagi yang dapat membuat persetujuan bagiku?
(3) 오 주님, 당신이 친히 나를 보증해 주십시오. 누가 나에게 죄가 없다고 증거해 줄 수 있겠습니까?
(3) "Give me a pledge (guarantee, promise) with Yourself [acknowledge my innocence before my death]; Who is there that will be my guarantor and give security for me?
(4) Karena hati mereka telah Kaukatupkan bagi pengertian; itulah sebabnya Engkau mencegah mereka untuk menang.
(4) 당신께서 저들의 총명을 없애시어, 제 앞에서 잘난 체하지 않게 해 주십시오.
(4) "But You [Lord] have closed their hearts to understanding, Therefore You will not exalt them [by giving a verdict against me].
(5) Barangsiapa mengadukan sahabatnya untuk mencari keuntungan, mata anak-anaknya akan menjadi rabun.
(5) 대가를 바라고 친구를 팔아 넘기는 자들, 그런 자들의 자식은 눈이 먼다는 속담이 있습니다.
(5) "He who denounces and informs against his friends for a share of the spoil, The eyes of his children will also languish and fail.
(6) Aku telah dijadikan sindiran di antara bangsa-bangsa, dan aku menjadi orang yang diludahi mukanya.
(6) 그분께서 나를 사람들의 웃음거리로 만드시니, 사람들이 내 얼굴에 침을 뱉네.
(6) "But He has made me a byword and mockery among the people, And I have become one in whose face people spit.
(7) Mataku menjadi kabur karena pedih hati, segala anggota tubuhku seperti bayang-bayang.
(7) 내 눈은 슬픔으로 침침해지고, 내 몸은 이제 그림자처럼 가볍구나.
(7) "My eye has grown dim (unexpressive) because of grief, And all my [body's] members are [wasted away] like a shadow.
(8) Orang-orang yang jujur tercengang karena hal itu, dan orang yang tidak bersalah naik pitam terhadap orang fasik.
(8) 정직한 사람은 이것을 보고 놀라며 죄 없는 사람은 악인을 미워하겠지.
(8) "The upright will be [astonished and] appalled at this, And the innocent will stir himself up against the godless and polluted.
(9) Meskipun begitu orang yang benar tetap pada jalannya, dan orang yang bersih tangannya bertambah-tambah kuat.
(9) 그러므로 의인은 자기의 길을 계속 가고, 마음이 깨끗한 자들은 점점 강해지리라.
(9) "Nevertheless the righteous will hold to his ways, And he who has clean hands will grow stronger and stronger.
(10) Tetapi kamu sekalian, silakan datang kembali! Seorang yang mempunyai hikmat takkan kudapati di antara kamu!
(10) 자, 자네들이 다시 와서 해 보게. 자네들 중 이제 지혜를 터득한 자가 있을까?
(10) "But as for all of you, come back again, Even though I do not find a wise man among you.
(11) Umurku telah lalu, telah gagal rencana-rencanaku, cita-citaku.
(11) 내 날들이 지났고, 내 계획도 사라졌으며, 내 소원도 날아가 버렸구나.
(11) "My days are past, my purposes and plans are frustrated and torn apart; The wishes of my heart [are broken].
(12) Malam hendak dijadikan mereka siang: terang segera muncul dari gelap, kata mereka.
(12) 이 사람들은 밤을 낮이라 하고, 낮을 밤이라 하는구나.
(12) "These [thoughts try to] make the night into the day; 'The light is near,' they say in the presence of darkness [but they pervert the truth].
(13) Apabila aku mengharapkan dunia orang mati sebagai rumahku, menyediakan tempat tidurku di dalam kegelapan,
(13) 이제 무덤을 내 집으로 삼고, 어둠 속에 침상을 놓아야 할 때가 왔구나.
(13) "But if I look to Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead) as my home, If I make my bed in the darkness,
(14) dan berkata kepada liang kubur: Engkau ayahku, kepada berenga: Ibuku dan saudara perempuanku,
(14) 이제 무덤에게는 ‘내 아버지’라, 벌레에게는 ‘내 어머니, 내 자매’ 라고 불러야 하는구나.
(14) If I call out to the pit (grave), 'You are my father'; And to the worm [that feeds on decay], 'You are my mother and my sister [because I will soon be closest to you],'
(15) maka di manakah harapanku? Siapakah yang melihat adanya harapan bagiku?
(15) 과연, 내 희망이 어디 있겠나? 누가 내 안에서 희망을 찾을 수 있겠는가?
(15) Where now is my hope? And who regards or considers or is even concerned about my hope?
(16) Keduanya akan tenggelam ke dasar dunia orang mati, apabila kami bersama-sama turun ke dalam debu."
(16) 희망이 나와 함께 무덤에 가 줄까? 희망아, 나와 흙 속으로 함께 가겠니?”
(16) "Will my hope go down with me to Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead)? Shall we go down together in the dust?"
