28:1-28 = Manusia tidak dapat menemukan hikmat
(1) Memang ada tempat orang menambang perak dan tempat orang melimbang emas;
(1) “은을 캐내는 광맥이 있고, 금을 다듬는 제련소가 있지 않나?
(1) {Job Tells of Earth's Treasures}"Surely there is a mine for silver, And a place where they refine gold.
(2) besi digali dari dalam tanah, dan dari batu dilelehkan tembaga.
(2) 철은 땅 속에서 캐내고 구리는 광석을 녹여 얻으며,
(2) "Iron is taken out of the earth, And copper is smelted from the stone ore.
(3) Orang menyudahi kegelapan, dan batu diselidikinya sampai sedalam-dalamnya, di dalam kekelaman dan kelam pekat.
(3) 사람들은 어둠을 헤쳐 캄캄한 곳에서 광석을 찾지.
(3) "Man puts an end to darkness [by bringing in a light], And to the farthest bounds he searches out The rock buried in gloom and deep shadow.
(4) Orang menggali tambang jauh dari tempat kediaman manusia, mereka dilupakan oleh orang-orang yang berjalan di atas, mereka melayang-layang jauh dari manusia.
(4) 사람이 살지 않는 먼 곳에 깊이 갱도를 파고 그 속에서 혼자 줄에 매달려 이리저리 흔들리며 일을 한다네.
(4) "He breaks open (mine) shafts far away from where people live, [In places] forgotten by the [human] foot; They dangle [in the mines] and hang away from men.
(5) Tanah yang menghasilkan pangan, dibawahnya dibongkar-bangkir seperti oleh api.
(5) 먹을 것은 땅에서 나오지만 그 아래에서는 불이 땅을 녹여 버리지.
(5) "[As for] the earth, out of it comes food, But underneath [its surface, down deep] it is turned over as fire.
(6) Batunya adalah tempat menemukan lazurit yang mengandung emas urai.
(6) 사람들은 광석에서 사파이어와 금을 얻을 수 있네.
(6) "Its stones are the bed of sapphires; It holds dust of gold.
(7) Jalan ke sana tidak dikenal seekor burung buaspun, dan mata elang tidak melihatnya;
(7) 그 지하의 길은 독수리도 알지 못하고, 매도 본 적이 없어.
(7) "The path [deep within] no bird of prey knows, And the falcon's eye has not caught sight of it.
(8) binatang yang ganas tidak menginjakkan kakinya di sana dan singa tidak melangkah melaluinya.
(8) 위엄 있는 짐승도 가 본 적이 없고, 사자도 어슬렁거린 적이 없지.
(8) "The proud beasts [and their young] have not walked on it, Nor has the fierce lion passed over it.
(9) Manusia melekatkan tangannya pada batu yang keras, ia membongkar-bangkir gunung-gunung sampai pada akar-akarnya;
(9) 사람들은 돌산을 깨고 산의 뿌리까지 파헤치며
(9) "Man puts his hand on [and tears apart] the flinty rock; He overturns the mountains at the base [looking for treasure].
(10) di dalam gunung batu ia menggali terowongan, dan matanya melihat segala sesuatu yang berharga;
(10) 바위에 틈을 내고 그 사이에서 보물을 찾지 않나.
(10) "He cuts out channels and passages among the rocks; And his eye sees every precious thing.
(11) air sungai yang merembes dibendungnya, dan apa yang tersembunyi dibawanya ke tempat terang.
(11) 사람은 댐을 만들어 물을 막고, 땅에 숨겨진 보화를 찾아 내지.
(11) "Man dams up the streams from flowing [so that they do not trickle into the mine], And what is hidden he brings out to the light.
(12) Tetapi di mana hikmat dapat diperoleh, di mana tempat akal budi?
(12) 그렇지만 지혜를 어디에서 찾을까? 총명은 어디에 있을까?
(12) {The Search for Wisdom Is Harder}"But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?
(13) Jalan ke sana tidak diketahui manusia, dan tidak didapati di negeri orang hidup.
(13) 사람은 그 가치를 알 길이 없네. 사람들이 사는 곳에서는 찾을 수가 없다네.
(13) "Man does not know the value of it; Nor is it found in the land of the living.
(14) Kata samudera raya: Ia tidak terdapat di dalamku, dan kata laut: Ia tidak ada padaku.
(14) 대양이 말하길, ‘여기에 없어.’ 바다가 말하길, ‘여기에도 없어.’
(14) "The deep says, 'It is not in me'; And the sea says, 'It is not with me.'
(15) Untuk gantinya tidak dapat diberikan emas murni, dan harganya tidak dapat ditimbang dengan perak.
(15) 지혜를 금으로 살 수 있겠나? 총명을 은으로 살 수 있겠나?
(15) "It cannot be obtained for pure gold, Nor can silver be weighed as its price.
(16) Ia tidak dapat dinilai dengan emas Ofir, ataupun dengan permata krisopras yang mahal atau dengan permata lazurit;
(16) 지혜는 오빌의 금으로도 살 수 없네. 루비나 사파이어로도 살 수 없지.
(16) "It cannot be valued in [terms of] the gold of Ophir, In the precious onyx or beryl, or the sapphire.
(17) tidak dapat diimbangi oleh emas, atau kaca, ataupun ditukar dengan permata dari emas tua.
(17) 금이나 수정도 지혜와 비길 수 없네. 어떤 보석과도 바꿀 수가 없다네.
(17) "Gold and glass cannot equal wisdom, Nor can it be exchanged for articles of fine gold.
(18) Baik gewang, baik hablur, tidak terhitung lagi; memiliki hikmat adalah lebih baik dari pada mutiara.
(18) 산호나 수정으로 사겠다고? 지혜를 홍보석 값으로 계산할 수 있겠나?
(18) "No mention of coral and crystal can be made; For the possession of wisdom is even above [that of] rubies or pearls.
(19) Permata krisolit Etiopia tidak dapat mengimbanginya, ia tidak dapat dinilai dengan emas murni.
(19) 에티오피아에서 나는 황옥도 지혜보다 못하고, 순금 역시 그러하지.
(19) "The topaz of Ethiopia cannot compare with it, Nor can it be valued in pure gold.
(20) Hikmat itu, dari manakah datangnya, atau akal budi, di manakah tempatnya?
(20) 그런데 그런 지혜는 어디에서 나오나? 총명이 있는 곳은 어딜까?
(20) "From where then does wisdom come? And where is the place of understanding?
(21) Ia terlindung dari mata segala yang hidup, bahkan tersembunyi bagi burung di udara.
(21) 어떤 생물도 볼 수 없고, 공중의 새조차 볼 수 없으니.
(21) "It is hidden from the eyes of all the living And concealed from the birds of the heavens.
(22) Kebinasaan dan maut berkata: Hanya desas-desusnya yang sampai ke telinga kami.
(22) 멸망과 사망도 ‘우리 귀로 지혜에 관한 소문을 들은 적은 있지’라고만 말하네.
(22) "Abaddon (the place of destruction) and Death say, 'We have [only] heard a report of it with our ears.'
(23) Allah mengetahui jalan ke sana, Ia juga mengenal tempat kediamannya.
(23) 오직 하나님만이 지혜의 길을 아시고, 총명이 어디 있는지 아신다네.
(23) "God understands the way [to wisdom] And He knows its place [for wisdom is with God alone].
(24) Karena Ia memandang sampai ke ujung-ujung bumi, dan melihat segala sesuatu yang ada di kolong langit.
(24) 그분은 땅 끝까지 보시고, 하늘 아래 모든 것을 살피시기 때문이지.
(24) "For He looks to the ends of the earth And sees everything under the heavens.
(25) Ketika Ia menetapkan kekuatan angin, dan mengatur banyaknya air,
(25) 하나님은 바람의 무게도 재시고 물도 측량하신다네.
(25) "When He gave weight and pressure to the wind And allotted the waters by measure,
(26) ketika Ia membuat ketetapan bagi hujan, dan jalan bagi kilat guruh,
(26) 그분은 비에게 명령하시고 천둥에게 갈 길을 지시하시네.
(26) When He made a limit for the rain And a way for the thunderbolt,
(27) ketika itulah Ia melihat hikmat, lalu memberitakannya, menetapkannya, bahkan menyelidikinya;
(27) 그 때에 그분은 지혜를 보고, 그것을 계산하셨네. 지혜를 세우시고, 시험하셨지.
(27) Then He saw wisdom and declared it; He established it and searched it out.
(28) tetapi kepada manusia Ia berfirman: Sesungguhnya, takut akan Tuhan, itulah hikmat, dan menjauhi kejahatan itulah akal budi."
(28) 하나님께서 사람에게 이르시길, ‘주님을 경외함이 지혜며 악을 떠나는 것이 총명이니라’고 하셨다네.”
(28) "But to man He said, 'Behold, the reverential and worshipful fear of the Lord—that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.'"
