40:1-9 = TUHAN menantang Ayub
(1) (39-34) Maka jawab TUHAN kepada Ayub:
(1) 여호와께서 욥에게 말씀하셨습니다.
(1) {Job: What Can I Say?}Then the LORD said to Job,
(2) (39-35) "Apakah si pengecam hendak berbantah dengan Yang Mahakuasa? Hendaklah yang mencela Allah menjawab!"
(2) “너는 아직도 전능자와 논쟁하려 하느냐? 나, 하나님을 비난하는 사람은 대답하여라.”
(2) "Will the faultfinder contend with the Almighty? Let him who disputes with God answer it."
(3) (39-36) Maka jawab Ayub kepada TUHAN:
(3) 그러자 욥이 여호와께 대답했습니다.
(3) Then Job replied to the LORD and said,
(4) (39-37) "Sesungguhnya, aku ini terlalu hina; jawab apakah yang dapat kuberikan kepada-Mu? Mulutku kututup dengan tangan.
(4) “저는 정말, 무가치한 사람입니다. 제가 무슨 대답을 하겠습니까? 단지 입을 가릴 뿐입니다.
(4) "Behold, I am of little importance and contemptible; what can I reply to You? I lay my hand on my mouth.
(5) (39-38) Satu kali aku berbicara, tetapi tidak akan kuulangi; bahkan dua kali, tetapi tidak akan kulanjutkan."
(5) 나는 한 번 말을 했고 대답지 않겠습니다. 두 번 말했고, 더 이상 않겠습니다.”
(5) "I have spoken once, but I will not reply again— Indeed, twice [I have answered], and I will add nothing further."
(6) (40-1) Maka dari dalam badai TUHAN menjawab Ayub:
(6) 그 때 여호와께서 폭풍 가운데서 욥에게 대답하셨습니다.
(6) {God Questions Job}Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, saying,
(7) (40-2) "Bersiaplah engkau sebagai laki-laki; Aku akan menanyai engkau, dan engkau memberitahu Aku.
(7) “너는 대장부처럼 허리를 동여매고, 묻는 말에 대답하여라.
(7) "Now gird up your loins (prepare yourself) like a man, And I will ask you, and you instruct Me.
(8) (40-3) Apakah engkau hendak meniadakan pengadilan-Ku, mempersalahkan Aku supaya engkau dapat membenarkan dirimu?
(8) 네가 내 판단을 무시하여 자신을 옳게 여기고 나를 비난하느냐?
(8) "Will you really annul My judgment and set it aside as void? Will you condemn Me [your God] that you may [appear to] be righteous and justified?
(9) (40-4) Apakah lenganmu seperti lengan Allah, dan dapatkah engkau mengguntur seperti Dia?
(9) 네가 하나님처럼 강하단 말이냐? 네 목소리가 천둥 같단 말이냐?
(9) "Have you an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His?
40:10-19 = Lukisan tentang kuda Nil
(10) (40-5) Hiasilah dirimu dengan kemegahan dan keluhuran, kenakanlah keagungan dan semarak!
(10) 그렇다면 너는 이제 위엄과 탁월함으로 단장하고 영광과 위엄으로 옷을 입어라.
(10) "Adorn yourself with eminence and dignity [since you question the Almighty], And array yourself with honor and majesty.
(11) (40-6) Luapkanlah marahmu yang bergelora; amat-amatilah setiap orang yang congkak dan rendahkanlah dia!
(11) 그리고 네 분노를 터뜨려 보아라. 거만한 자들을 모조리 낮추어 보아라.
(11) "Pour out the overflowings of your wrath, And look at everyone who is proud and make him low.
(12) (40-7) Amat-amatilah setiap orang yang congkak, tundukkanlah dia, dan hancurkanlah orang-orang fasik di tempatnya!
(12) 교만한 자들을 찾아서 겸손하게 굴복시키고 악인들을 그 자리에서 짓밟아 보아라.
(12) Look at everyone who is proud, and humble him, And [if you are so able] tread down the wicked where they stand.
(13) (40-8) Pendamlah mereka bersama-sama dalam debu, kurunglah mereka di tempat yang tersembunyi.
(13) 그들을 모두 흙 속에 묻어, 저들의 얼굴을 무덤에 묻어라.
(13) "[Crush and] hide them in the dust together; Shut them up in the hidden place [the house of death].
(14) (40-9) Maka Akupun akan memuji engkau, karena tangan kananmu memberi engkau kemenangan."
(14) 그렇게 하면, 나도 네 힘이 너를 구원할 수 있다고 인정하겠다.
(14) "[If you can do all this, Job, proving your divine power] then I [God] will also praise you and acknowledge That your own right hand can save you.
(15) (40-10) "Perhatikanlah kuda Nil, yang telah Kubuat seperti juga engkau. Ia makan rumput seperti lembu.
(15) 저 하마를 한번 살펴보아라. 내가 너를 만들 때, 함께 만든 것이다. 그것은 황소처럼 풀을 먹는다.
(15) {God's Power Shown in Creatures}"Behold now, Behemoth, which I created as well as you; He eats grass like an ox.
(16) (40-11) Perhatikanlah tenaga di pinggangnya, kekuatan pada urat-urat perutnya!
(16) 그의 허리 힘이 얼마나 센지 보아라. 그 뱃가죽에 뻗치는 힘살을 주목해 보아라.
(16) "See now, his strength is in his loins And his power is in the muscles and sinews of his belly.
(17) (40-12) Ia meregangkan ekornya seperti pohon aras, otot-otot pahanya berjalin-jalinan.
(17) 백향목처럼 꼬리를 치는 저 모습과 힘줄이 얽힌 저 허벅지 근육을 보아라.
(17) "He sways his tail like a cedar; The tendons of his thighs are twisted and knit together [like a rope].
(18) (40-13) Tulang-tulangnya seperti pembuluh tembaga, kerangkanya seperti batang besi.
(18) 그 뼈들은 청동관같이 단단하고, 갈비뼈는 무쇠 막대기 같구나.
(18) "His bones are tubes of bronze; His limbs are like bars of iron.
(19) (40-14) Dia yang pertama dibuat Allah, makhluk yang diberi-Nya bersenjatakan pedang;
(19) 그것은 내가 창조한 작품 중 가장 위험한 것이다. 그것을 만든 나도 칼을 가져야 그것에게 접근할 수 있다.
(19) "He is the first [in magnitude and power] of the works of God; [Only] He who made him can bring near His sword [to master him].
40:20 - 41:25 = Lukisan tentang buaya
(20) (40-15) ya, bukit-bukit mengeluarkan hasil baginya, di mana binatang-binatang liar bermain-main.
(20) 산들은 그것을 위해 식물을 만들어 내고, 모든 들짐승이 그 곁에서 뛰어논다.
(20) "Surely the mountains bring him food, And all the wild animals play there.
(21) (40-16) Di bawah tumbuhan teratai ia menderum, tersembunyi dalam gelagah dan paya.
(21) 그것이 연꽃 아래 누워 늪 속의 갈대 가운데 자기를 숨기면,
(21) "He lies down under the lotus plants, In the hidden shelter of the reeds in the marsh.
(22) (40-17) Tumbuhan-tumbuhan teratai menaungi dia dengan bayang-bayangnya, pohon-pohon gandarusa mengelilinginya.
(22) 연꽃잎이 그것 위에 그늘을 드리우고, 강가 버드나무도 그를 둘러싼다.
(22) "The lotus plants cover him with their shade; The willows of the brook surround him.
(23) (40-18) Sesungguhnya, biarpun sungai sangat kuat arusnya, ia tidak gentar; ia tetap tenang, biarpun sungai Yordan meluap melanda mulutnya.
(23) 강물이 차고 넘쳐도, 요단 강물이 넘쳐 흘러 자신을 삼키려 해도, 그것은 꿈쩍도 하지 않는다.
(23) "If a river rages and overflows, he does not tremble; He is confident, though the Jordan [River] swells and rushes against his mouth.
(24) (40-19) Dapatkah orang menangkap dia dari muka, mencocok hidungnya dengan keluan?"
(24) 누가 감히 그것을 잡겠으며, 끌고 가서 그 코를 꿸 수 있겠느냐?”
(24) "Can anyone capture him when he is on watch, Or pierce his nose with barbs [to trap him]?
