22:1-17 = Peraturan tentang jaminan harta sesama manusia
(1) Apabila seseorang mencuri seekor lembu atau seekor domba dan membantainya atau menjualnya, maka ia harus membayar gantinya, yakni lima ekor lembu ganti lembu itu dan empat ekor domba ganti domba itu.(1) “어떤 사람이 소나 양을 훔친 다음에 그것을 잡거나 팔았으면 그는 소 한 마리는 소 다섯 마리로, 양 한 마리는 양 네 마리로 갚아라.(1) {Property Rights}"If a man steals an ox or sheep and kills or sells it, he shall make restitution of five oxen for an ox or four sheep for a sheep.
(2) Jika seorang pencuri kedapatan waktu membongkar, dan ia dipukul orang sehingga mati, maka si pemukul tidak berhutang darah;(2) 도둑이 밤에 남의 집을 뚫고 들어가다가 발견되어 맞아 죽었다면, 죽인 사람에게는 죄가 없다.(2) "If a thief is caught breaking in [after dark] and is struck [by the owner] so that he dies, there shall be no bloodguilt for him.
(3) tetapi jika pembunuhan itu terjadi setelah matahari terbit, maka ia berhutang darah. Pencuri itu harus membayar ganti kerugian sepenuhnya; jika ia orang yang tak punya, ia harus dijual ganti apa yang dicurinya itu.(3) 그러나 해가 뜬 다음에 그런 일이 일어났다면, 죽인 사람에게 죄가 있다. 붙잡힌 도둑은 도둑질한 것을 갚아라. 하지만 갚을 것이 없으면, 도둑질한 대가로 종이 될 것이다.(3) But if the sun has risen, there will be bloodguilt for him. The thief [if he lives] must make [full] restitution; if he has nothing, then he shall be sold [as a slave to make restitution] for his theft.
(4) Jika yang dicurinya itu masih terdapat padanya dalam keadaan hidup, baik lembu, keledai atau domba, maka ia harus membayar ganti kerugian dua kali lipat.(4) 만일 도둑질한 것을 가지고 있으면, 소든 나귀든 양이든 두 배로 갚아라.(4) If the animal that he stole is found alive in his possession, whether it is ox or donkey or sheep, he shall pay double [for it].
(5) Apabila seseorang menggembalakan ternaknya di ladangnya atau di kebun anggurnya dan ternak itu dibiarkannya berjalan lepas, sehingga makan habis ladang orang lain, maka ia harus memberikan hasil yang terbaik dari ladangnya sendiri atau hasil yang terbaik dari kebun anggurnya sebagai ganti kerugian.(5) 어떤 사람이 가축에게 밭이나 포도원에서 풀을 뜯어 먹게 했는데 그 가축이 다른 사람의 밭이나 포도원에서 풀을 뜯어 먹었으면, 짐승의 주인은 자기의 밭이나 포도원에서 거둔 것 중에 가장 좋은 농산물로 물어 주어라.(5) "If a man causes a field or vineyard to be grazed bare or lets his livestock loose so that it grazes in another man's field, he shall make restitution from the best of his own field and the best of his own vineyard.
(6) Apabila ada api dinyalakan dan api itu menjilat semak duri, tetapi tumpukan gandum atau gandum yang belum dituai atau seluruh ladang itu ikut juga dimakan api, maka orang yang menyebabkan kebakaran itu harus membayar ganti kerugian sepenuhnya.(6) 불이 나서 가시나무로 옮겨 붙어 이웃의 곡식이나 아직 밭에서 자라고 있는 곡식이나 밭 전체를 태웠으면, 불을 낸 사람은 그것을 다 물어 주어라.(6) "If fire breaks out and spreads to thorn bushes so that the stacked grain or standing grain or the field is consumed, he who started the fire shall make full restitution.
(7) Apabila seseorang menitipkan kepada temannya uang atau barang, dan itu dicuri dari rumah orang itu, maka jika pencuri itu terdapat, ia harus membayar ganti kerugian dua kali lipat.(7) 어떤 사람이 이웃에게 돈이나 물건을 맡겨 두었는데 그것을 맡고 있던 집에 도둑이 들었을 경우, 만약 도둑이 붙잡히면, 도둑은 두 배로 갚아라.(7) "If a man gives his neighbor money or [other] goods to keep [for him while he is away] and it is stolen from the neighbor's house, then, if the thief is caught, he shall pay double [for it].
(8) Jika pencuri itu tidak terdapat, maka tuan rumah harus pergi menghadap Allah untuk bersumpah, bahwa ia tidak mengulurkan tangannya mengambil harta kepunyaan temannya.(8) 하지만 도둑이 붙잡히지 않으면 집주인을 재판장 앞에 데리고 가서 이웃의 물건에 손을 댔는지 대지 않았는지를 알아보아라.(8) If the thief is not caught, the owner of the house shall appear before the judges [who act in God's name], to determine whether or not he had stolen his neighbor's goods.
(9) Dalam tiap-tiap perkara pertengkaran harta, baik tentang seekor lembu, tentang seekor keledai, tentang seekor domba, tentang sehelai pakaian, baik tentang barang apapun yang kehilangan, kalau seorang mengatakan: Inilah kepunyaanku--maka perkara kedua orang itu harus dibawa ke hadapan Allah. Siapa yang dipersalahkan oleh Allah haruslah membayar kepada temannya ganti kerugian dua kali lipat.(9) 소나 나귀나 양이나 옷이나 그 밖의 어떤 잃어버린 것 때문에 두 사람 사이에 다툼이 생겨서, 두 사람이 서로 ‘이것은 내 것이다’라고 주장하는 일이 생기면, 두 사람 다 재판장에게 나가서 재판을 받아라. 그래서 재판장으로부터 죄가 있다는 판결을 받은 사람은 상대에게 두 배로 갚아라.(9) For every offense involving property, whether it concerns ox, donkey, sheep, clothing, or any piece of lost property, which another identifies as his, the case of both parties shall come before the judges [who act in God's name]. Whomever the judges pronounce guilty shall pay double to his neighbor.
(10) Apabila seseorang menitipkan kepada temannya seekor keledai atau lembu atau seekor domba atau binatang apapun dan binatang itu mati, atau patah kakinya atau dihalau orang dengan kekerasan, dengan tidak ada orang yang melihatnya,(10) 어떤 사람이 다른 사람에게 나귀나 소나 양이나 그 밖의 어떤 짐승을 맡겼는데, 그 짐승이 죽거나 다치거나 아무도 모르게 끌려갔으면,(10) "If a man gives his neighbor a donkey or an ox or a sheep or any [other] animal to keep [for him], and it dies or is injured or taken away while no one is looking,
(11) maka sumpah di hadapan TUHAN harus menentukan di antara kedua orang itu, apakah ia tidak mengulurkan tangannya mengambil harta kepunyaan temannya, dan pemilik harus menerima sumpah itu, dan yang lain itu tidak usah membayar ganti kerugian.(11) 짐승을 맡은 사람은 여호와 앞에서 이웃의 짐승에게 손을 대지 않았다고 맹세하여라. 그러면 주인은 그 맹세를 받아들여야 하고, 짐승을 맡은 사람은 물어 주지 않아도 된다.(11) then an oath before the LORD shall be made by the two of them that he has not taken his neighbor's property; and the owner of it shall accept his word and not require him to make restitution.
(12) Tetapi jika binatang itu benar-benar dicuri orang dari padanya, maka ia harus membayar ganti kerugian kepada pemilik.(12) 그러나 짐승을 맡은 사람이 도둑질한 것이라면, 주인에게 물어 주어라.(12) But if it is actually stolen from him [when in his care], he shall make restitution to its owner.
(13) Jika binatang itu benar-benar diterkam oleh binatang buas, maka ia harus membawanya sebagai bukti. Tidak usah ia membayar ganti binatang yang diterkam itu.(13) 만약 그 짐승이 맹수에게 찢겨 죽었다면, 죽은 짐승을 증거로 보여라. 찢겨 죽은 짐승은 물어 주지 않아도 된다.(13) If it is torn to pieces [by some predator or by accident], let him bring the mangled carcass as evidence; he shall not make restitution for what was torn to pieces.
(14) Apabila seseorang meminjam seekor binatang dari temannya, dan binatang itu patah kakinya atau mati, ketika pemiliknya tidak ada di situ, maka ia harus membayar ganti kerugian sepenuhnya.(14) 어떤 사람이 이웃에게서 짐승을 빌렸는데 주인이 없는 자리에서 그 짐승이 다치거나 죽었으면, 빌린 사람은 그것을 다 물어 주어라.(14) "And if a man borrows an animal from his neighbor, and it gets injured or dies while its owner is not with it, the borrower shall make full restitution.
(15) Tetapi jika pemiliknya ada di situ, maka tidak usahlah ia membayar ganti kerugian. Jika binatang itu disewa, maka kerugian itu telah termasuk dalam sewa.(15) 만약 그 자리에 주인이 있었으면, 물어 주지 않아도 된다. 그 짐승이 세를 낸 것이면 주인은 셋돈만 받아라.”(15) But if the owner is with it [when the damage is done], the borrower shall not make restitution. If it was hired, the damage is included in [the price of] its fee.
(16) Apabila seseorang membujuk seorang anak perawan yang belum bertunangan, dan tidur dengan dia, maka haruslah ia mengambilnya menjadi isterinya dengan membayar mas kawin.(16) “어떤 사람이 아직 약혼하지 않은 처녀를 꾀어서 잠자리를 함께하였으면, 그는 신부의 몸값을 내고 그 여자를 아내로 맞아들여라.(16) {Various Laws}"If a man seduces a virgin who is not betrothed, and lies with her, he must pay a dowry (marriage price) for her to be his wife.
(17) Jika ayah perempuan itu sungguh-sungguh menolak memberikannya kepadanya, maka ia harus juga membayar perak itu sepenuhnya, sebanyak mas kawin anak perawan."(17) 그러나 만약 여자의 아버지가 자기 딸을 그에게 주지 않겠다고 하면, 그는 순수한 처녀로 시집가는 신부의 몸값과 똑같은 돈을 치러야 한다.(17) If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he must [still] pay money equivalent to the dowry of virgins.
22:18-20 = Peraturan tentang dosa yang keji
(18) Seorang ahli sihir perempuan janganlah engkau biarkan hidup.(18) 무당은 살려 두지 마라.(18) "You shall not allow a woman who practices sorcery to live.
(19) Siapapun yang tidur dengan seekor binatang, pastilah ia dihukum mati.(19) 짐승과 잠자리를 함께 하는 사람은 죽여라.(19) "Whoever lies with an animal must be put to death.
(20) Siapa yang mempersembahkan korban kepada allah kecuali kepada TUHAN sendiri, haruslah ia ditumpas."(20) 여호와 외의 다른 신에게 제물을 바치는 사람은 없애 버려라.(20) "He who sacrifices to any god, other than to the LORD alone, shall be put under a ban (designated) for destruction (execution).
22:21-27 = Peraturan tentang orang-orang yang tidak mampu
(21) Janganlah kautindas atau kautekan seorang orang asing, sebab kamupun dahulu adalah orang asing di tanah Mesir.(21) 나그네를 억누르거나 학대하지 마라. 너희도 이집트 땅에서 나그네였다는 것을 잊지 마라.(21) "You shall not wrong a stranger or oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
(22) Seseorang janda atau anak yatim janganlah kamu tindas.(22) 과부나 고아를 괴롭히지 마라.(22) You shall not harm or oppress any widow or fatherless child.
(23) Jika engkau memang menindas mereka ini, tentulah Aku akan mendengarkan seruan mereka, jika mereka berseru-seru kepada-Ku dengan nyaring.(23) 만약 그들을 괴롭히면, 그들이 내게 부르짖을 때 내가 반드시 그들의 부르짖음에 귀를 기울일 것이다.(23) If you harm or oppress them in any way, and they cry at all to Me [for help], I will most certainly hear their cry;
(24) Maka murka-Ku akan bangkit dan Aku akan membunuh kamu dengan pedang, sehingga isteri-isterimu menjadi janda dan anak-anakmu menjadi yatim.(24) 나의 노가 불붙듯 일어나 칼로 너희를 죽일 것이다. 그리하여 너희 아내들은 과부가 되고, 너희 자녀는 고아가 될 것이다.(24) and My wrath shall be kindled and burn; I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.
(25) Jika engkau meminjamkan uang kepada salah seorang dari umat-Ku, orang yang miskin di antaramu, maka janganlah engkau berlaku sebagai seorang penagih hutang terhadap dia: janganlah kamu bebankan bunga uang kepadanya.(25) 너와 함께 살고 있는 내 백성 중에서 가난한 사람에게 돈을 빌려 줄 때는 빚쟁이처럼 굴지 말고, 이자도 받지 마라.(25) "If you lend money to any one of My people with you who is poor, you shall not act as a creditor (professional moneylender) to him; you shall not charge him interest.
(26) Jika engkau sampai mengambil jubah temanmu sebagai gadai, maka haruslah engkau mengembalikannya kepadanya sebelum matahari terbenam,(26) 만약 이웃의 겉옷을 담보로 잡았으면, 해가 지기 전에 그것을 돌려 주어라.(26) If you ever take your [poor] neighbor's robe in pledge, you must return it to him before sunset,
(27) sebab hanya itu saja penutup tubuhnya, itulah pemalut kulitnya--pakai apakah ia pergi tidur? Maka apabila ia berseru-seru kepada-Ku, Aku akan mendengarkannya, sebab Aku ini pengasih."(27) 그가 몸을 덮을 것이라곤 그 겉옷뿐이다. 그것이 없으면 달리 무엇으로 몸을 덮고 자겠느냐? 그가 나에게 부르짖으면 나는 들어 줄 것이다. 왜냐하면 나는 자비롭기 때문이다.(27) for that is his only covering; it is his clothing for his body. In what shall he sleep? And when he cries to Me [for help], I will hear him, for I am compassionate and gracious.
22:28-31 = Berbagai-bagai peraturan
(28) Janganlah engkau mengutuki Allah dan janganlah engkau menyumpahi seorang pemuka di tengah-tengah bangsamu.(28) 너희는 재판장을 욕하거나 너희 백성의 지도자를 저주하지 마라.(28) "You shall not curse God, nor curse the ruler of your people [since he administers God's law].
(29) Janganlah lalai mempersembahkan hasil gandummu dan hasil anggurmu. Yang sulung dari anak-anakmu lelaki haruslah kaupersembahkan kepada-Ku.(29) 처음 추수한 것을 나에게 바치는 일을 미루지 마라. 너희가 거둔 첫 곡식과 포도주를 나에게 바쳐라. 그리고 너희의 맏아들도 나에게 바쳐라.(29) "You shall not delay the offering from your harvest and your vintage. You shall give (consecrate, dedicate) to Me the firstborn of your sons.
(30) Demikian juga harus kauperbuat dengan lembu sapimu dan dengan kambing dombamu: tujuh hari lamanya anak-anak binatang itu harus tinggal pada induknya, tetapi pada hari yang kedelapan haruslah kaupersembahkan binatang-binatang itu kepada-Ku.(30) 너희의 소나 양도 마찬가지이다. 소나 양의 첫 새끼도 칠 일 동안은 어미와 함께 있게 하고, 팔 일에는 나에게 바쳐라.(30) You shall do the same with your oxen and with your sheep. It shall be with its mother for seven days; on the eighth day you shall give it [as an offering] to Me.
(31) Haruslah kamu menjadi orang-orang kudus bagi-Ku: daging ternak yang diterkam di padang oleh binatang buas, janganlah kamu makan, tetapi haruslah kamu lemparkan kepada anjing."(31) 너희는 나에게 거룩한 백성이 될 것이다. 그러므로 너희는 들에서 맹수에게 찢겨 죽은 짐승의 고기를 먹지 말고, 그런 고기는 개에게 주어라.”(31) "You shall be holy men to Me; therefore you shall not eat meat [from any animal] that has been torn to pieces [by predators] in the field; you shall throw it to the dogs.
