3:1-26 = Berkat dari hikmat
(1) Hai anakku, janganlah engkau melupakan ajaranku, dan biarlah hatimu memelihara perintahku,
(1) 내 아들아, 내 가르침을 잊지 말고, 내 명령들을 네 마음에 소중히 간직하여라.
(1) {The Rewards of Wisdom}My son, do not forget my teaching, But let your heart keep my commandments;
(2) karena panjang umur dan lanjut usia serta sejahtera akan ditambahkannya kepadamu.
(2) 그렇게 하면, 너는 오래 살고, 성공하게 될 것이다.
(2) For length of days and years of life [worth living] And tranquility and prosperity [the wholeness of life's blessings] they will add to you.
(3) Janganlah kiranya kasih dan setia meninggalkan engkau! Kalungkanlah itu pada lehermu, tuliskanlah itu pada loh hatimu,
(3) 너는 성실과 사랑을 절대 버리지 말고, 그것을 네 목에 걸고, 네 마음판에 잘 새겨라.
(3) Do not let mercy and kindness and truth leave you [instead let these qualities define you]; Bind them [securely] around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart.
(4) maka engkau akan mendapat kasih dan penghargaan dalam pandangan Allah serta manusia.
(4) 그리하면 네가 하나님과 사람 앞에서 은총과 칭찬을 받을 것이다.
(4) So find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man.
(5) Percayalah kepada TUHAN dengan segenap hatimu, dan janganlah bersandar kepada pengertianmu sendiri.
(5) 네 마음을 다하여 여호와를 신뢰하고, 절대로 네 슬기를 의지하지 마라.
(5) Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
(6) Akuilah Dia dalam segala lakumu, maka Ia akan meluruskan jalanmu.
(6) 너는 네 모든 길에서 그분을 인정하여라. 그러면 그분이 너의 길을 형통하게 만들어 주실 것이다.
(6) In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].
(7) Janganlah engkau menganggap dirimu sendiri bijak, takutlah akan TUHAN dan jauhilah kejahatan;
(7) 스스로 지혜로운 체하지 말고, 여호와를 경외하고 악한 일은 피하여라.
(7) Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entirely] away from evil.
(8) itulah yang akan menyembuhkan tubuhmu dan menyegarkan tulang-tulangmu.
(8) 그것이 네 몸을 치료하고, 네 뼈들을 윤택하게 해 줄 것이다.
(8) It will be health to your body [your marrow, your nerves, your sinews, your muscles—all your inner parts] And refreshment (physical well-being) to your bones.
(9) Muliakanlah TUHAN dengan hartamu dan dengan hasil pertama dari segala penghasilanmu,
(9) 네 재물과 네 수확물의 첫 열매를 드려 여호와를 공경하여라.
(9) Honor the LORD with your wealth And with the first fruits of all your crops (income);
(10) maka lumbung-lumbungmu akan diisi penuh sampai melimpah-limpah, dan bejana pemerahanmu akan meluap dengan air buah anggurnya.
(10) 그러면 네 창고들이 차고 넘치게 될 것이며, 네 포도주통들이 포도주로 가득 찰 것이다.
(10) Then your barns will be abundantly filled And your vats will overflow with new wine.
(11) Hai anakku, janganlah engkau menolak didikan TUHAN, dan janganlah engkau bosan akan peringatan-Nya.
(11) 내 아들아, 여호와의 징계를 멸시하지 말고, 그의 책망을 언짢게 여기지 마라.
(11) My son, do not reject or take lightly the discipline of the LORD [learn from your mistakes and the testing that comes from His correction through discipline]; Nor despise His rebuke,
(12) Karena TUHAN memberi ajaran kepada yang dikasihi-Nya, seperti seorang ayah kepada anak yang disayangi.
(12) 여호와께서는 자신이 사랑하는 자들을 징계하시되, 아버지가 사랑하는 아들에게 하는 것과 같이 하신다.
(12) For those whom the LORD loves He corrects, Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.
(13) Berbahagialah orang yang mendapat hikmat, orang yang memperoleh kepandaian,
(13) 지혜를 발견하고, 총명을 얻는 자는 복이 있다.
(13) Happy [blessed, considered fortunate, to be admired] is the man who finds [skillful and godly] wisdom, And the man who gains understanding and insight [learning from God's word and life's experiences],
(14) karena keuntungannya melebihi keuntungan perak, dan hasilnya melebihi emas.
(14) 지혜는 금보다 더 소득이 많고, 더 많은 이익을 준다.
(14) For wisdom's profit is better than the profit of silver, And her gain is better than fine gold.
(15) Ia lebih berharga dari pada permata; apapun yang kauinginkan, tidak dapat menyamainya.
(15) 지혜는 보석보다 값지니, 네가 탐하는 그 어떤 것과도 비길 수 없다.
(15) She is more precious than rubies; And nothing you can wish for compares with her [in value].
(16) Umur panjang ada di tangan kanannya, di tangan kirinya kekayaan dan kehormatan.
(16) 지혜의 오른손에는 장수가 있고, 그 왼손에는 부와 명예가 있다.
(16) Long life is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor.
(17) Jalannya adalah jalan penuh bahagia, segala jalannya sejahtera semata-mata.
(17) 지혜의 길은 즐거움의 길이며, 그 모든 길은 평안이다.
(17) Her ways are highways of pleasantness and favor, And all her paths are peace.
(18) Ia menjadi pohon kehidupan bagi orang yang memegangnya, siapa yang berpegang padanya akan disebut berbahagia.
(18) 지혜는 그것을 붙잡는 자에게 생명나무가 되어 주며, 그것을 잡는 자에게 복을 준다.
(18) She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy [blessed, considered fortunate, to be admired] is everyone who holds her tightly.
(19) Dengan hikmat TUHAN telah meletakkan dasar bumi, dengan pengertian ditetapkan-Nya langit,
(19) 여호와는 지혜로 땅의 기초를 세우셨고, 총명으로 하늘을 그 자리에 만드셨다.
(19) The LORD by His wisdom has founded the earth; By His understanding He has established the heavens.
(20) dengan pengetahuan-Nya air samudera raya berpencaran dan awan menitikkan embun.
(20) 그분의 지식으로 깊은 바다가 갈라지고, 구름에서 이슬이 내린다.
(20) By His knowledge the deeps were broken up And the clouds drip with dew.
(21) Hai anakku, janganlah pertimbangan dan kebijaksanaan itu menjauh dari matamu, peliharalah itu,
(21) 내 아들아, 바로 판단하고 분별하여, 그것을 한시도 잊지 마라.
(21) My son, let them not escape from your sight, But keep sound wisdom and discretion,
(22) maka itu akan menjadi kehidupan bagi jiwamu, dan perhiasan bagi lehermu.
(22) 그것을 너의 생명이자, 네 목에 걸 목걸이로 삼아라.
(22) And they will be life to your soul (your inner self) And a gracious adornment to your neck (your outer self).
(23) Maka engkau akan berjalan di jalanmu dengan aman, dan kakimu tidak akan terantuk.
(23) 그러면 너는 네 길에서 안전할 것이며, 발이 걸려 넘어지지 않을 것이다.
(23) Then you will walk on your way [of life] securely And your foot will not stumble.
(24) Jikalau engkau berbaring, engkau tidak akan terkejut, tetapi engkau akan berbaring dan tidur nyenyak.
(24) 네가 누울 때, 너는 두려워하지 않고, 네가 누울 때, 네 잠이 달 것이다.
(24) When you lie down, you will not be afraid; When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
(25) Janganlah takut kepada kekejutan yang tiba-tiba, atau kepada kebinasaan orang fasik, bila itu datang.
(25) 너는 악인에게 갑작스럽게 닥치는 재난이나 파멸을 조금도 두려워하지 마라.
(25) Do not be afraid of sudden fear Nor of the storm of the wicked when it comes [since you will be blameless];
(26) Karena Tuhanlah yang akan menjadi sandaranmu, dan akan menghindarkan kakimu dari jerat.
(26) 여호와는 너의 의지가 되시고, 네 발이 올무에 걸려 넘어지지 않도록 지키실 것이다.
(26) For the LORD will be your confidence, firm and strong, And will keep your foot from being caught [in a trap].
3:27-35 = Anjuran untuk berbuat baik
(27) Janganlah menahan kebaikan dari pada orang-orang yang berhak menerimanya, padahal engkau mampu melakukannya.
(27) 네게 행할 능력이 있거든, 도움이 필요한 사람에게 기꺼이 도움을 주어라.
(27) Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due [its rightful recipients], When it is in your power to do it.
(28) Janganlah engkau berkata kepada sesamamu: "Pergilah dan kembalilah, besok akan kuberi," sedangkan yang diminta ada padamu.
(28) 네게 지금 물건이 있다면, 네 이웃에게 “갔다가 다시 오게나. 내일 주겠네”라고 말하지 마라.
(28) Do not say to your neighbor, "Go, and come back, And tomorrow I will give it," When you have it with you.
(29) Janganlah merencanakan kejahatan terhadap sesamamu, sedangkan tanpa curiga ia tinggal bersama-sama dengan engkau.
(29) 네 이웃이 평안히 네 곁에서 살거든, 네 이웃을 해칠 음모를 꾸미지 마라.
(29) Do not devise evil against your neighbor, Who lives securely beside you.
(30) Janganlah bertengkar tidak semena-mena dengan seseorang, jikalau ia tidak berbuat jahat kepadamu.
(30) 너에게 해를 끼치지 않은 사람을 아무 까닭 없이 비난하지 마라.
(30) Do not quarrel with a man without cause, If he has done you no harm.
(31) Janganlah iri hati kepada orang yang melakukan kelaliman, dan janganlah memilih satupun dari jalannya,
(31) 난폭하게 구는 사람을 부러워하거나 그의 행위를 본받지 마라.
(31) Do not envy a man of violence And do not choose any of his ways.
(32) karena orang yang sesat adalah kekejian bagi TUHAN, tetapi dengan orang jujur Ia bergaul erat.
(32) 여호와께서는 비뚤어진 사람을 가증히 여기시고, 정직한 사람을 신뢰하신다.
(32) For the devious are repulsive to the LORD; But His private counsel is with the upright [those with spiritual integrity and moral courage].
(33) Kutuk TUHAN ada di dalam rumah orang fasik, tetapi tempat kediaman orang benar diberkati-Nya.
(33) 여호와께서는 악인의 집은 저주하시지만, 의인의 집에는 복을 주신다.
(33) The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked, But He blesses the home of the just and righteous.
(34) Apabila Ia menghadapi pencemooh, maka Iapun mencemooh, tetapi orang yang rendah hati dikasihani-Nya.
(34) 그분은 교만한 자를 비웃으시고, 겸손한 자에게 은혜를 주신다.
(34) Though He scoffs at the scoffers and scorns the scorners, Yet He gives His grace [His undeserved favor] to the humble [those who give up self-importance].
(35) Orang yang bijak akan mewarisi kehormatan, tetapi orang yang bebal akan menerima cemooh.
(35) 지혜로운 사람은 영광을 얻지만, 어리석은 사람은 수치를 당할 것이다.
(35) The wise will inherit honor and glory, But dishonor and shame is conferred on fools.
