30:1-33 = Perkataan-perkataan Agur bin Yake
(1) Perkataan Agur bin Yake dari Masa. Tutur kata orang itu: Aku berlelah-lelah, ya Allah, aku berlelah-lelah, sampai habis tenagaku.
(1) 야게의 아들, 아굴의 교훈입니다. 아굴이 이디엘과, 우갈에게 이 가르침을 선포하였습니다.
(1) {The Words of Agur}The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, the oracle: The man says to Ithiel, to Ithiel and to Ucal:
(2) Sebab aku ini lebih bodoh dari pada orang lain, pengertian manusia tidak ada padaku.
(2) 나는 정말 짐승같이 무지한 사람이다. 나는 사람에게 있어야 할 총명을 갖지 못했다.
(2) Surely I am more brutish and stupid than any man, And I do not have the understanding of a man [for I do not know what I do not know].
(3) Juga tidak kupelajari hikmat, sehingga tidak dapat kukenal Yang Mahakudus.
(3) 나는 지혜를 배우지 못했고, 거룩하신 분을 아는 지식도 갖지 못했다.
(3) I have not learned [skillful and godly] wisdom, Nor do I have knowledge of the Holy One [who is the source of wisdom].
(4) Siapakah yang naik ke sorga lalu turun? Siapakah yang telah mengumpulkan angin dalam genggamnya? Siapakah yang telah membungkus air dengan kain? Siapakah yang telah menetapkan segala ujung bumi? Siapa namanya dan siapa nama anaknya? Engkau tentu tahu!
(4) 누가 하늘에 올라갔다 내려왔던가? 누가 자기 손바닥에 바람을 모았던가? 누가 자기 옷에 물을 댔던가? 누가 땅 끝을 만들었던가? 그의 이름이 무엇이며, 그의 아들의 이름은 무엇인가? 네가 알면 말해 다오.
(4) Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name? Certainly you know!
(5) Semua firman Allah adalah murni. Ia adalah perisai bagi orang-orang yang berlindung pada-Nya.
(5) 모든 하나님의 말씀은 믿을 만하다. 그분은 자기를 피난처로 삼는 자에게 방패가 되신다.
(5) Every word of God is tested and refined [like silver]; He is a shield to those who trust and take refuge in Him.
(6) Jangan menambahi firman-Nya, supaya engkau tidak ditegur-Nya dan dianggap pendusta.
(6) 그분의 말씀에 다른 것을 더하지 마라. 그분이 너를 책망하고 거짓말쟁이로 생각하실까 두렵다.
(6) Do not add to His words, Or He will reprove you, and you will be found a liar.
(7) Dua hal aku mohon kepada-Mu, jangan itu Kautolak sebelum aku mati, yakni:
(7) 내가 두 가지를 여호와께 구하였사오니, 내가 죽기 전에 이루어 주소서.
(7) Two things I have asked of You; Do not deny them to me before I die:
(8) Jauhkanlah dari padaku kecurangan dan kebohongan. Jangan berikan kepadaku kemiskinan atau kekayaan. Biarkanlah aku menikmati makanan yang menjadi bagianku.
(8) 곧 허황한 거짓말을 내게서 멀리하여 주시고, 가난도 부함도 허락하지 마시고, 오직 일용할 양식만 주소서.
(8) Keep deception and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is my portion,
(9) Supaya, kalau aku kenyang, aku tidak menyangkal-Mu dan berkata: Siapa TUHAN itu? Atau, kalau aku miskin, aku mencuri, dan mencemarkan nama Allahku.
(9) 그렇지 않으면, 내가 배불러서 “여호와께서 누구인가?” 하고 당신을 부인할까 두렵습니다. 아니면 내가 가난하여져서 도둑질하고 내 하나님의 이름을 모욕할까 두렵습니다.
(9) So that I will not be full and deny You and say, "Who is the LORD?" Or that I will not be poor and steal, And so profane the name of my God.
(10) Jangan mencerca seorang hamba pada tuannya, supaya jangan ia mengutuki engkau dan engkau harus menanggung kesalahan itu.
(10) 너는 종을 주인에게 고자질하지 마라. 그가 너를 저주하면, 네가 처벌을 받을까 두렵다.
(10) Do not slander or malign a servant before his master [stay out of another's personal life], Or he will curse you [for your interference], and you will be found guilty.
(11) Ada keturunan yang mengutuki ayahnya dan tidak memberkati ibunya.
(11) 자기 아버지를 저주하고 자기 어머니를 축복하지 않는 불효자식들이 있다.
(11) There is a generation (class of people) that curses its father And does not bless its mother.
(12) Ada keturunan yang menganggap dirinya tahir, tetapi belum dibasuh dari kotorannya sendiri.
(12) 자기 스스로 깨끗하다 여기고 자기 더러움을 씻지 않는 자들도 있다.
(12) There is a generation (class of people) that is pure in its own eyes, Yet is not washed from its filthiness.
(13) Ada keturunan yang berpandangan angkuh, yang terangkat kelopak matanya.
(13) 아주 거만하여 남을 모조리 자기 종으로 보는 사람들도 있다.
(13) There is a generation (class of people)—oh, how lofty are their eyes! And their eyelids are raised in arrogance.
(14) Ada keturunan yang giginya adalah pedang, yang gigi geliginya adalah pisau, untuk memakan habis dari bumi orang-orang yang tertindas, orang-orang yang miskin di antara manusia.
(14) 앞니는 긴 칼 같고 어금니는 군인이 허리에 찬 칼 같아서, 가난한 자를 땅에서 집어삼켜 없애고, 궁핍한 자를 무시하는 자들이 있다.
(14) There is a generation (class of people) whose teeth are like swords And whose jaw teeth are like knives, To devour the afflicted from the earth And the needy from among men.
(15) Si lintah mempunyai dua anak perempuan: "Untukku!" dan "Untukku!" Ada tiga hal yang tak akan kenyang, ada empat hal yang tak pernah berkata: "Cukup!"
(15) 거머리에게는 두 딸이 있어, “주세요, 주세요”라고 한다. 결코 만족을 모르는 서너 가지가 있으니,
(15) The leech has two daughters, "Give, give!" There are three things that are never satisfied, Four that do not say, "It is enough":
(16) Dunia orang mati, dan rahim yang mandul, dan bumi yang tidak pernah puas dengan air, dan api yang tidak pernah berkata: "Cukup!"
(16) 곧 무덤과 아이 배지 못하는 태와 메마른 땅과 이글거리는 불이다.
(16) Sheol, and the barren womb, Earth that is never satisfied with water, And fire that never says, "It is enough."
(17) Mata yang mengolok-olok ayah, dan enggan mendengarkan ibu akan dipatuk gagak lembah dan dimakan anak rajawali.
(17) 아버지를 비웃고 어머니를 경멸하여 불순종하는 자의 눈은, 골짜기의 까마귀에게 쪼이고 독수리에게 먹힐 것이다.
(17) The eye that mocks a father And scorns a mother, The ravens of the valley will pick it out, And the young vultures will devour it.
(18) Ada tiga hal yang mengherankan aku, bahkan, ada empat hal yang tidak kumengerti:
(18) 내가 이해하지 못할 기이한 것 서너 가지가 있으니,
(18) There are three things which are too astounding and unexpectedly wonderful for me, Four which I do not understand:
(19) jalan rajawali di udara, jalan ular di atas cadas, jalan kapal di tengah-tengah laut, dan jalan seorang laki-laki dengan seorang gadis.
(19) 곧 공중에서 독수리가 날아다니는 길과 바위에서 뱀이 기어다니는 길과 대해에서 항해하는 배의 항로와 젊은 여자와 동침하며 지나간 남자의 길이다.
(19) The way of an eagle in the air, The way of a serpent on a rock, The way of a ship in the middle of the sea, And the way of a man with a maid.
(20) Inilah jalan perempuan yang berzinah: ia makan, lalu menyeka mulutnya, dan berkata: Aku tidak berbuat jahat.
(20) 간음한 여자의 길도 이와 같으니 그녀는 죄를 짓고도 잘못한 것이 없다고 말한다.
(20) This is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth And says, "I have done no wrong."
(21) Karena tiga hal bumi gemetar, bahkan, karena empat hal ia tidak dapat tahan:
(21) 세상을 뒤흔드는 서너 가지가 있으니,
(21) Under three things the earth is disquieted and quakes, And under four it cannot bear up:
(22) karena seorang hamba, kalau ia menjadi raja, karena seorang bebal, kalau ia kekenyangan makan,
(22) 왕이 된 종과 배부른 바보와
(22) Under a servant when he reigns, Under a [spiritually blind] fool when he is filled with food,
(23) karena seorang wanita yang tidak disukai orang, kalau ia mendapat suami, dan karena seorang hamba perempuan, kalau ia mendesak kedudukan nyonyanya.
(23) 사랑받지 못한 여인이 시집간 일과 여주인을 대신한 여종이다.
(23) Under an unloved woman when she gets married, And under a maidservant when she supplants her mistress.
(24) Ada empat binatang yang terkecil di bumi, tetapi yang sangat cekatan:
(24) 아주 작지만 아주 지혜로운 것 네 가지가 세상에 있으니,
(24) There are four things that are small on the earth, But they are exceedingly wise:
(25) semut, bangsa yang tidak kuat, tetapi yang menyediakan makanannya di musim panas,
(25) 곧 힘이 없지만, 여름에 음식을 장만하는 개미와
(25) The ants are not a strong people, Yet they prepare their food in the summer;
(26) pelanduk, bangsa yang lemah, tetapi yang membuat rumahnya di bukit batu,
(26) 힘이 없지만, 돌 틈에 집을 짓는 오소리와
(26) The shephanim are not a mighty folk, Yet they make their houses in the rocks;
(27) belalang yang tidak mempunyai raja, namun semuanya berbaris dengan teratur,
(27) 왕이 없지만, 줄을 지어 행진하는 메뚜기들과
(27) The locusts have no king, Yet all of them go out in groups;
(28) cicak yang dapat kautangkap dengan tangan, tetapi yang juga ada di istana-istana raja.
(28) 손에 잡힐 것 같으면서도, 왕궁에 드나드는 도마뱀이다.
(28) You may grasp the lizard with your hands, Yet it is in kings' palaces.
(29) Ada tiga binatang yang gagah langkahnya, bahkan, empat hal yang gagah jalannya, yakni:
(29) 위풍당당하게 걷는 것 서너 가지가 있으니,
(29) There are three things which are stately in step, Even four which are stately in their stride:
(30) singa, yang terkuat di antara binatang, yang tidak mundur terhadap apapun.
(30) 동물의 왕으로서 어떤 것 앞에서도 물러서지 않는 사자와
(30) The lion, which is mighty among beasts And does not turn back before any;
(31) Ayam jantan yang angkuh, atau kambing jantan, dan seorang raja yang berjalan di depan rakyatnya.
(31) 꼬리를 치켜 세우는 수탉과 숫염소와 군대를 거느린 왕이다.
(31) The strutting rooster, the male goat also, And the king when his army is with him.
(32) Bila engkau menyombongkan diri tanpa atau dengan berpikir, tekapkanlah tangan pada mulut!
(32) 만일 네가 미련하여 스스로 높은 체하거나, 악한 생각을 품었다면, 손으로 네 입을 막아라.
(32) If you have foolishly exalted yourself, Or if you have plotted evil, put your hand on your mouth.
(33) Sebab, kalau susu ditekan, mentega dihasilkan, dan kalau hidung ditekan, darah keluar, dan kalau kemarahan ditekan, pertengkaran timbul.
(33) 우유를 저으면 버터가 되고, 코를 비틀면 코피가 나오듯, 화를 돋구면 싸움이 생긴다.
(33) Surely the churning of milk produces butter, And wringing the nose produces blood; So the churning of anger produces strife.
