9:1-18 = Undangan hikmat dan undangan kebodohan
(1) Hikmat telah mendirikan rumahnya, menegakkan ketujuh tiangnya,
(1) 지혜가 일곱 기둥을 깎아서, 자기 집을 건축하였다.
(1) {Wisdom's Invitation}Wisdom has built her [spacious and sufficient] house; She has hewn out and set up her seven pillars.
(2) memotong ternak sembelihannya, mencampur anggurnya, dan menyediakan hidangannya.
(2) 지혜가 짐승을 잡고, 혼합한 포도주로 상을 차리고,
(2) She has prepared her food, she has mixed her wine; She has also set her table.
(3) Pelayan-pelayan perempuan telah disuruhnya berseru-seru di atas tempat-tempat yang tinggi di kota:
(3) 자기 여종을 보내어, 마을 높은 곳에서 소리쳐 사람들을 초대하게 하였다.
(3) She has sent out her maidens, she calls From the highest places of the city:
(4) Siapa yang tak berpengalaman, singgahlah ke mari
(4) “어리석은 자는 누구나 이리로 오시오.” 지혜 없는 사람들에게 여종이 말했다.
(4) "Whoever is naive or inexperienced, let him turn in here!" As for him who lacks understanding, she says,
(5) Marilah, makanlah rotiku, dan minumlah anggur yang telah kucampur;
(5) “와서, 준비한 음식을 먹고 포도주를 마셔요.
(5) "Come, eat my food And drink the wine I have mixed [and accept my gifts].
(6) buanglah kebodohan, maka kamu akan hidup, dan ikutilah jalan pengertian."
(6) 어리석음을 버리고 거기에서 멀리 떠나세요. 그러면 살 것입니다. 명철의 길을 걸으세요.”
(6) "Leave [behind] your foolishness [and the foolish] and live, And walk in the way of insight and understanding."
(7) Siapa mendidik seorang pencemooh, mendatangkan cemooh kepada dirinya sendiri, dan siapa mengecam orang fasik, mendapat cela.
(7) 비웃는 자를 꾸짖는 사람은 오히려 모욕을 받게 될 것이고, 악한 사람을 책망하는 사람은 해를 입을 것이다.
(7) He who corrects and instructs a scoffer gets dishonor for himself, And he who rebukes a wicked man gets insults for himself.
(8) Janganlah mengecam seorang pencemooh, supaya engkau jangan dibencinya, kecamlah orang bijak, maka engkau akan dikasihinya,
(8) 비웃는 자를 꾸짖지 마라. 오히려 미움만 산다. 지혜로운 사람을 꾸짖어라. 그는 네 꾸지람을 고맙게 생각할 것이다.
(8) Do not correct a scoffer [who foolishly ridicules and takes no responsibility for his error] or he will hate you; Correct a wise man [who learns from his error], and he will love you.
(9) berilah orang bijak nasihat, maka ia akan menjadi lebih bijak, ajarilah orang benar, maka pengetahuannya akan bertambah.
(9) 지혜로운 사람을 훈계하여라. 그는 더 지혜롭게 될 것이다. 의로운 사람을 가르쳐라. 그는 더 많이 배울 것이다.
(9) Give instruction to a wise man and he will become even wiser; Teach a righteous man and he will increase his learning.
(10) Permulaan hikmat adalah takut akan TUHAN, dan mengenal Yang Mahakudus adalah pengertian.
(10) 여호와를 경외함이 지혜의 근본이요, 거룩한 분을 아는 것이 명철의 시작이다.
(10) The [reverent] fear of the LORD [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and the preeminent part of wisdom [its starting point and its essence], And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding and spiritual insight.
(11) Karena oleh aku umurmu diperpanjang, dan tahun-tahun hidupmu ditambah.
(11) 나 지혜를 통해서 네가 오래 살고, 네 생명이 길어질 것이다.
(11) For by me (wisdom from God) your days will be multiplied, And years of life shall be increased.
(12) Jikalau engkau bijak, kebijakanmu itu bagimu sendiri, jikalau engkau mencemooh, engkau sendirilah orang yang akan menanggungnya.
(12) 네가 만일 지혜롭다면, 지혜가 네게 유익하지만, 만약 네가 거만하다면, 너만 손해를 볼 것이다.
(12) If you are wise, you are wise for yourself [for your own benefit]; If you scoff [thoughtlessly ridicule and disdain], you alone will pay the penalty.
(13) Perempuan bebal cerewet, sangat tidak berpengalaman ia, dan tidak tahu malu.
(13) 미련한 여인은 시끄럽고, 제멋대로 하면서 부끄러움을 깨닫지 못한다.
(13) The foolish woman is restless and noisy; She is naive and easily misled and thoughtless, and knows nothing at all [of eternal value].
(14) Ia duduk di depan pintu rumahnya di atas kursi di tempat-tempat yang tinggi di kota,
(14) 그 여인은 집의 대문이나 마을 높은 곳에 앉아서,
(14) She sits at the doorway of her house, On a seat by the high and conspicuous places of the city,
(15) dan orang-orang yang berlalu di jalan, yang lurus jalannya diundangnya dengan kata-kata:
(15) 자기 길을 똑바로 지나가는 사람들을 불러,
(15) Calling to those who pass by, Who are making their paths straight:
(16) Siapa yang tak berpengalaman, singgahlah ke mari
(16) “어리석은 자는 누구나 이리로 오세요”라고 말한다. 또 지혜 없는 사람들에게 이렇게 말한다.
(16) "Whoever is naive or inexperienced, let him turn in here!" And to him who lacks understanding (common sense), she says,
(17) Air curian manis, dan roti yang dimakan dengan sembunyi-sembunyi lezat rasanya.
(17) “훔친 물이 더 달고, 몰래 먹는 음식이 더 맛있어요!”
(17) "Stolen waters (pleasures) are sweet [because they are forbidden]; And bread eaten in secret is pleasant."
(18) Tetapi orang itu tidak tahu, bahwa di sana ada arwah-arwah dan bahwa orang-orang yang diundangnya ada di dalam dunia orang mati.
(18) 그러나 어리석은 자들은 그 곳이 사형장이며, 그녀의 손님들이 지옥에 산다는 것을 알지 못한다.
(18) But he does not know that the spirits of the dead are there, And that her guests are [already] in the depths of Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead).
