(1) Firman TUHAN yang datang kepada nabi Yeremia mengenai orang Filistin, sebelum Firaun mengalahkan Gaza.
(1) 이것은 이집트 군대가 가사 성을 치기 전에 여호와께서 블레셋 백성에 대해 예언자 예레미야에게 하신 말씀입니다.
(1) {Prophecy against Philistia}The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the Philistines before Pharaoh attacked and conquered [the Philistine city of] Gaza.
(2) Beginilah firman TUHAN: Lihat, air yang meluas mengamuk dari utara menjadi sungai yang membanjir, membanjiri negeri serta isinya, kota serta penduduknya. Manusia akan berteriak, dan seluruh penduduk negeri akan meratap,
(2) 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “보아라. 불어 오른 물처럼 북쪽에서부터 적군이 몰려온다. 넘쳐 흐르는 시내처럼 밀려든다. 홍수처럼 땅과 땅 위에 있는 모든 것을 뒤덮을 것이며 마을과 그 주민을 덮칠 것이다. 사람들이 도와 달라고 소리치고 그 땅의 모든 주민이 울부짖을 것이다.
(2) Thus says the LORD: "Behold, waters are going to rise out of the north (Babylonia) And become an overflowing stream And overflow the land and all that is in it, The city and those who live in it. Then the people will cry out, And all the inhabitants of the land [of Philistia] will wail.
(3) mendengar bunyi derap kuku kudanya, mendengar derak-derik keretanya, kertak-kertuk rodanya. Para ayah tidak lagi berpaling menoleh kepada anak-anak, sebab tangan mereka sudah lemas,
(3) 요란한 말발굽 소리가 들려 온다. 전차들이 내는 요란한 소리, 바퀴가 덜컹거리는 소리가 들려 온다. 아버지들은 맥이 빠져서 자녀들을 돌볼 힘도 없다.
(3) "Because of the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of the war-horses [of the Babylonian king], The rattling of his chariots, and the rumbling of his wheels, The fathers have not looked and turned back for their children, So weak are their hands [with terror]
(4) oleh karena telah tiba harinya untuk membinasakan semua orang Filistin, dan melenyapkan bagi Tirus dan Sidon setiap penolong yang masih tinggal. Sungguh, TUHAN akan membinasakan orang Filistin, yakni sisa orang yang datang dari pulau Kaftor.
(4) 블레셋 사람들을 멸망시킬 날이 왔다. 두로와 시돈에서 지원하러 오는 모든 군대를 멸망시킬 날이 왔다. 여호와께서 곧 블레셋 사람들과 갑돌 섬에 남아 있는 사람들을 멸망시키실 것이다.
(4) Because of the day that is coming To destroy all the Philistines And to cut off from Tyre and Sidon Every ally who remains. For the LORD is going to destroy the Philistines, The remnant [still surviving] of the coastland of Caphtor.
(5) Gaza telah menjadi gundul, Askelon telah menjadi bungkam; hai Asdod, sisa orang Enak, berapa lama lagi engkau menoreh-noreh diri?
(5) 가사 사람은 슬퍼하며 머리를 삭발하고 아스글론 사람은 잠잠해질 것이다. 골짜기에 있는 살아 남은 사람들아, 너희가 언제까지 너희 몸에 상처를 내려느냐?
(5) "Baldness [as a sign of mourning] will come on Gaza; Ashkelon will be cut off and ruined. O remnant of their valley, How long will you gash yourselves [as a sign of mourning]?
(6) Ah, pedang TUHAN, berapa lama lagi baru engkau berhenti? Masuklah kembali ke dalam sarungmu, jadilah tenang dan beristirahatlah!
(6) 너희가 외치기를 ‘오호라! 여호와의 칼아, 언제 잠잠해지려느냐? 네 칼집으로 돌아가라. 잠잠하여라. 가만히 있어라’ 한다.
(6) "O you sword of the LORD, How long will it be before you are quiet? Put yourself into your sheath; Rest and be still.
(7) Tetapi bagaimana ia dapat berhenti? Bukankah TUHAN memerintahkannya? Ke Askelon dan ke tepi pantai laut, ke sanalah Ia menyuruhnya!"
(7) 그러나 여호와께서 명령하셨으니 어떻게 여호와의 칼이 잠잠할 수 있겠느냐? 여호와께서 그 칼에게 명령하여 아스글론과 바닷가를 치게 하셨다.”
(7) "How can His sword be quiet When the LORD has given it an order? Against Ashkelon and against the [whole Philistine] seashore There He has assigned it."
