(1) Pada masa itu, demikianlah firman TUHAN, tulang-tulang raja-raja Yehuda, tulang-tulang pemuka-pemukanya, tulang-tulang imam-imam, tulang-tulang nabi-nabi dan tulang-tulang segenap penduduk Yerusalem akan dikeluarkan dari dalam kubur mereka
(1) 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. “그 때에 사람들이 무덤에서 유다 왕들의 뼈와 그 신하들의 뼈와 제사장들의 뼈와 예언자들의 뼈와 예루살렘 백성들의 뼈를 꺼내어
(1) {The Sin and Treachery of Judah}"At that time," says the LORD, "they [the Babylonian army] will bring out from their graves the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its princes, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
(2) dan diserakkan di depan matahari, di depan bulan dan di depan segenap tentara langit yang dahulunya dicintai, diabdi, diikuti, ditanyakan dan disembah oleh mereka. Semuanya itu tidak akan dikumpulkan dan tidak akan dikuburkan; mereka akan menjadi pupuk di ladang.
(2) 그들이 좋아하고 섬기고 쫓아다니며 찾아 경배하던 해와 달과 하늘의 모든 별들 아래에 펼쳐 놓을 것이다. 그 뼈들을 모아 묻어 줄 사람이 아무도 없으므로, 그 뼈들은 땅에 버려진 거름과 같이 될 것이다.
(2) They will [carelessly scatter and] spread them out before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which the dead have loved and which they have served, and which they have walked after and which they have sought, and which they have worshiped. They will not be gathered or be buried; they will be like dung on the face of the earth.
(3) Tetapi semua orang yang masih tinggal dari kaum yang jahat ini akan lebih suka mati dari pada hidup di segala tempat ke mana Aku menceraiberaikan mereka, demikianlah firman TUHAN semesta alam.
(3) 내가 유다 백성을 그 집과 땅에서 쫓아 내겠다. 이 악한 백성 중에 남아 있는 사람들은 자기들이 쫓겨난 곳에서 사는 것보다 차라리 죽는 게 낫다고 생각할 것이다. 만군의 여호와의 말이다.”
(3) And death will be chosen rather than life by all the remnant of those who remain of this evil family (nation), who remain in all the places to which I have driven them," says the LORD of hosts.
8:4-17 = Dosa dan hukumannya
(4) Engkau harus mengatakan kepada mereka: "Beginilah firman TUHAN: Apabila orang jatuh, masakan ia tidak bangun kembali? Apabila orang berpaling, masakan ia tidak kembali?
(4) “너는 유다 백성에게 말하여라. 나 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 사람이 넘어지면 다시 일어나지 않겠느냐? 그릇된 길로 가면 다시 돌아오지 않겠느냐?
(4) "Moreover [Jeremiah], you shall say to them, 'Thus says the LORD, "Do men fall and not rise up again? Does one turn away [from God] and not repent and return [to Him]?
(5) Mengapakah bangsa ini berpaling, berpaling terus-menerus? Mereka berpegang pada tipu, mereka menolak untuk kembali.
(5) 그런데 어찌하여 이 백성은 그릇된 길로 가며 다시 돌아오지 않느냐? 그들이 거짓에 사로잡혀서 돌아오기를 거부한다.
(5) "Why then has this people of Jerusalem Turned away with a perpetual turning away [from Me]? They hold tightly to deceit (idolatry); They refuse to repent and return [to God].
(6) Aku telah memperhatikan dan mendengarkan: mereka tidak berkata dengan jujur! Tidak ada yang menyesal karena kejahatannya dengan mengatakan: Apakah yang telah kulakukan ini! Sambil berlari semua mereka berpaling, seperti kuda yang menceburkan diri ke dalam pertempuran.
(6) 내가 귀를 기울여 들어 보았지만, 그들은 정직한 말을 하지 않았다. 그들은 악한 짓을 하고도 뉘우칠 줄 몰랐다. 도리어 ‘내가 무슨 잘못을 했는가’라고 한다. 전쟁터로 달려가는 말처럼 그들은 모두 각기 제 갈 길로 갔다.
(6) "I have listened and heard, But they have spoken what is not right; No man repented of his wickedness, Saying, 'What have I done?' Everyone turns to his [individual] course, As the horse rushes like a torrent into battle.
(7) Bahkan burung ranggung di udara mengetahui musimnya, burung tekukur, burung layang-layang dan burung bangau berpegang pada waktu kembalinya, tetapi umat-Ku tidak mengetahui hukum TUHAN.
(7) 하늘의 황새도 제 때를 알고 비둘기와 제비와 두루미도 돌아올 때를 지키는데 내 백성은 여호와가 바라는 공평을 알지도 못한다.
(7) "Even the stork in the sky Knows her seasons [of migration], And the turtledove, the swallow and the crane Observe the time of their return. But My people do not know The law of the LORD.
(8) Bagaimanakah kamu berani berkata: Kami bijaksana, dan kami mempunyai Taurat TUHAN? Sesungguhnya, pena palsu penyurat sudah membuatnya menjadi bohong.
(8) 너희가 어찌하여 ‘우리는 지혜롭고 우리에게는 여호와의 율법이 있다’고 말하느냐? 실은 서기관들은 여호와의 율법을 거짓말로 기록하였다.
(8) "How can you say, 'We are wise, And the law of the LORD is with us [and we are learned in its language and teachings]'? Behold, [the truth is that] the lying pen of the scribes Has made the law into a lie [a mere code of ceremonial observances].
(9) Orang-orang bijaksana akan menjadi malu, akan terkejut dan tertangkap. Sesungguhnya, mereka telah menolak firman TUHAN, maka kebijaksanaan apakah yang masih ada pada mereka?
(9) 지혜롭다 하는 사람들이 부끄러움을 당할 것이며, 두려움 속에 사로잡힐 것이다. 보아라. 그들이 여호와의 말씀을 거절하였으니, 그들은 참으로 지혜로운 사람이 아니다.
(9) "The wise men are shamed, They are dismayed and caught. Behold, they have [manipulated and] rejected the [truth in the] word of the LORD, And what kind of wisdom and insight do they have?
(10) Sebab itu Aku akan memberikan isteri-isteri mereka kepada orang lain, ladang-ladang mereka kepada penjajah. Sesungguhnya, dari yang kecil sampai yang besar, semuanya mengejar untung; baik nabi maupun imam, semuanya melakukan tipu.
(10) 그러므로 내가 그들의 아내를 다른 사람에게 주겠고, 그들의 밭을 새 주인에게 주겠다. 작은 사람에서부터 큰 사람에 이르기까지 누구나 돈을 욕심내고 있다. 예언자와 제사장들까지 모두 거짓을 행하고 있다.
(10) "Therefore I will give their wives to others And their fields to new owners; Because from the least even to the greatest Everyone is greedy for [unjust] gain; From the prophet even to the priest Everyone practices deceit and deals in corruption.
(11) Mereka mengobati luka puteri umat-Ku dengan memandangnya ringan, katanya: Damai sejahtera! Damai sejahtera!, tetapi tidak ada damai sejahtera.
(11) 내 백성이 큰 상처를 입었는데도, 그들은 아무렇지도 않게 여긴다. 평화가 없는데도 ‘평화, 평화’ 하고 말한다.
(11) "For they have treated the brokenness of the daughter of My people superficially, Saying, 'Peace, peace,' When there is no peace.
(12) Seharusnya mereka merasa malu, sebab mereka melakukan kejijikan; tetapi mereka sama sekali tidak merasa malu dan tidak kenal noda mereka. Sebab itu mereka akan rebah di antara orang-orang yang rebah, mereka akan tersandung jatuh pada waktu mereka dihukum, firman TUHAN.
(12) 그들은 역겨운 짓을 하고도 부끄러워할 줄 모른다. 수치를 알지도 못하고 얼굴을 붉힐 줄도 모른다. 그들은 쓰러질 것이며 내가 그들에게 벌을 내릴 때에 그들은 멸망할 것이다. 여호와의 말이다.
(12) "Were they ashamed because of the extremely disgusting and shamefully vile things they had done? They were not at all ashamed, And they did not know how to blush. Therefore, they shall fall among those who fall; At the time of their punishment they shall be overthrown," Says the LORD.
(13) Aku mau memungut hasil mereka, demikianlah firman TUHAN, tetapi tidak ada buah anggur pada pohon anggur, tidak ada buah ara pada pohon ara, dan daun-daunan sudah layu; sebab itu Aku akan menetapkan bagi mereka orang-orang yang akan melindas mereka."
(13) 내가 그들을 완전히 망하게 하겠다. 나 여호와의 말이다. 포도밭에는 포도가 없을 것이며, 무화과나무에는 무화과가 없을 것이며, 잎사귀도 말라 죽을 것이다. 내가 그들에게 준 것을 빼앗아 갈 것이다.
(13) "I will gather and snatch them away [utterly consuming them]," says the LORD. "There will be no grapes on the vine, Nor figs on the fig tree, And even the leaf will wither; And the things that I have given them will pass away [by the hand of those whom I have appointed]."'"
(14) Mengapakah kita duduk-duduk saja? Berkumpullah dan marilah kita pergi ke kota-kota yang berkubu dan binasa di sana! Sebab TUHAN, Allah kita, membinasakan kita, memberi kita minum racun, sebab kita telah berdosa kepada TUHAN.
(14) 그 때, 백성들은 이렇게 말할 것이다. ‘어찌하여 우리가 이렇게 앉아만 있느냐? 우리 모두 모여 굳건한 요새 성으로 가자. 거기에서 우리의 죽음을 맞이하자. 우리 하나님 여호와께서 우리를 죽이기로 작정하시고 독이 든 물을 주어 마시게 하셨다. 그것은 우리가 여호와께 죄를 지었기 때문이다.
(14) Why are we sitting still [the people wonder]? Assemble yourselves, and let us enter the fortified cities And let us die there, For the LORD our God has decreed our ruin And given us bitter and poisonous water to drink, Because we have sinned against the LORD.
(15) Kita mengharapkan damai, tetapi tidak datang sesuatu yang baik, mengharapkan waktu kesembuhan, tetapi yang ada hanya kengerian!
(15) 우리가 평화를 바랐으나 좋은 것은 하나도 오지 않았다. 우리를 고쳐 주실 때를 기다렸으나, 보아라. 찾아온 것은 재앙뿐이었다.
(15) We waited for peace and salvation, but no good came, And for a time of healing, but behold, terror!
(16) Dengus kuda musuh terdengar dari Dan; karena bunyi ringkik kuda jantan mereka gemetarlah seluruh negeri. Mereka datang dan memakan habis negeri dengan isinya, kota dengan penduduknya.
(16) 적군의 말들이 내는 콧소리가 단에서부터 들려 오고, 그 큰 말들이 울부짖는 소리가 온 땅을 흔들어 놓는다. 그들이 쳐들어와서 이 땅과 그 안의 모든 것을 삼키고, 이 성과 그 안에 사는 모든 백성을 삼킨다.’
(16) The snorting of [Nebuchadnezzar's] horses is heard from Dan [on Palestine's northern border]. At the sound of the neighing of his strong stallions The whole land quakes; For they come and devour the land and all that is in it, The city and those who live in it.
(17) Lihatlah, Aku melepaskan ke antaramu ular-ular beludak, yang tidak dapat dimanterai, yang akan memagut kamu, demikianlah firman TUHAN."
(17) 보아라! 내가 독뱀을 너희에게 보내겠다. 길들여 부릴 수 없는 그 뱀이 너희를 물 것이다. 나 여호와의 말이다.”
(17) "For behold, I am sending serpents among you, Vipers which cannot be charmed, And they will bite you," says the LORD.
8:18 - 9:11 = Ratapan atas Yehuda dan Yerusalem
(18) Tidak tersembuhkan kedukaan yang menimpa diriku, hatiku sakit pedih.
(18) 내가 근심 중에 위로받기를 원할 때, 내 마음 안에 병이 깊었습니다.
(18) Oh, that I (Jeremiah) could find comfort from my sorrow [for my grief is beyond healing], My heart is sick and faint within me!
(19) Dengar! seruan puteri bangsaku minta tolong dari negeri yang jauh: "Tidak adakah TUHAN di Sion? Tidak adakah Rajanya di dalamnya?" --Mengapakah mereka menimbulkan sakit hati-Ku dengan patung-patung mereka, dengan dewa-dewa asing yang sia-sia? --
(19) 보십시오. 저 백성의 외치는 소리에 귀 기울여 주십시오. 그들이 먼 땅에서 도와 달라고 부르짖고 있습니다. “여호와께서 시온에 계시지 않은가? 시온의 왕이 그 안에 계시지 않은가?”라고 말하고 있습니다. 그러나 하나님께서는 “어찌하여 백성들이 헛된 다른 나라의 우상들을 예배하여 나를 분노하게 하였느냐?”라고 말씀하십니다.
(19) Behold, [hear the sound of] the cry of the daughter of my people from the distant land [of Babylon]: "Is not the LORD in Zion? Is not her King within her?" [But the LORD answers] "Why have they provoked Me to anger with their carved images and with foreign idols?"
(20) Sudah lewat musim menuai, sudah berakhir musim kemarau, tetapi kita belum diselamatkan juga!
(20) 백성은 “추수 때가 지나고 여름도 끝났지만, 우리는 아직 구원 받지 못했다”고 말합니다.
(20) "The harvest is past, the summer has ended and the gathering of fruit is over, But we are not saved," [comes the voice of the people again].
(21) Karena luka puteri bangsaku hatiku luka; aku berkabung, kedahsyatan telah menyergap aku.
(21) 제 백성이 아파하므로 저도 아픕니다. 제가 슬퍼하고 그들 때문에 놀랍니다.
(21) For the brokenness of the daughter of my people I (Jeremiah) am broken; I mourn, anxiety has gripped me.
(22) Tidak adakah balsam di Gilead? Tidak adakah tabib di sana? Mengapakah belum datang juga kesembuhan luka puteri bangsaku?
(22) 길르앗 땅에 유향이 있지 않습니까? 그 곳에 의사가 있지 않습니까? 그런데 제 백성의 상처가 어찌하여 낫지 않는 것입니까?
(22) Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then has not the [spiritual] health of the daughter of my people been restored?
