33:1-20 = Tugas Yehezkiel sebagai penjaga
(1) Lalu datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
(1) 여호와께서 내게 말씀하셨다.
(1) {The Watchman's Duty}And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
(2) Hai anak manusia, berbicaralah kepada teman-temanmu sebangsa dan katakanlah kepada mereka: Kalau Aku mendatangkan pedang atas sesuatu negeri dan bangsa negeri itu mengambil seorang dari antara mereka dan menetapkan dia menjadi penjaganya
(2) “사람아, 네 백성들에게 말하여라, 그들에게 전하여라. 내가 어떤 땅을 향하여 칼을 드니, 그 땅의 사람들이 그들 중 한 명을 선택해서, 그를 경계병으로 세웠다.
(2) "Son of man, speak to the sons of your people [who are exiled in Babylon] and say to them, 'If I bring a sword on a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman,
(3) dan penjaga ini melihat pedang itu datang atas negerinya, lalu meniup sangkakala untuk memperingatkan bangsanya,
(3) 그는 이 칼이 그 땅을 향해 오는 것을 보고 백성들에게 알리고자 나팔을 불었는데,
(3) and he sees the sword coming on the land, and he blows the trumpet and warns the people,
(4) kalau ada seorang yang memang mendengar suara sangkakala itu, tetapi ia tidak mau diperingatkan, sehingga sesudah pedang itu datang ia dihabiskan, darahnya tertimpa kepadanya sendiri.
(4) 그 때에 만약 어떤 사람이 나팔 소리를 듣고도 경고를 받아들이지 않아, 칼이 와서 그의 생명을 가져갔다면, 그의 피흘림은 그 자신의 탓일 것이다.
(4) then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his [own] head.
(5) Ia mendengar suara sangkakala, tetapi ia tidak mau diperingatkan, darahnya tertimpa kepadanya sendiri. Kalau ia mau diperingatkan, ia menyelamatkan nyawanya.
(5) 그가 나팔 소리를 듣고도 경고를 받아들이지 않았기 때문에, 그의 피흘림은 그 자신의 탓이다. 만약 그가 경고를 받아들였다면, 그는 자신을 구할 수 있었을 것이다.
(5) He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning; his blood shall be on himself. But if he had taken warning, he would have saved his life.
(6) Sebaliknya penjaga, yang melihat pedang itu datang, tetapi tidak meniup sangkakala dan bangsanya tidak mendapat peringatan, sehingga sesudah pedang itu datang, seorang dari antara mereka dihabiskan, orang itu dihabiskan dalam kesalahannya, tetapi Aku akan menuntut pertanggungan jawab atas nyawanya dari penjaga itu.
(6) 그러나 경계병이 칼이 오는 것을 보고도 나팔을 불지 않아 사람들에게 알리지 않았다면, 칼이 와서 그들 중 하나를 죽일 것이요, 그 사람은 자신의 죄 때문에 죽게 될 것이나, 나는 그의 피를 경계병의 잘못으로 돌릴 것이다.
(6) But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, he is taken away because of his corruption and sin; but I will require his blood from the watchman's hand.'
(7) Dan engkau anak manusia, Aku menetapkan engkau menjadi penjaga bagi kaum Israel. Bilamana engkau mendengar sesuatu firman dari pada-Ku, peringatkanlah mereka demi nama-Ku.
(7) 사람아, 내가 너를 이스라엘의 경계병으로 세웠다. 그러니 너는 내가 하는 말을 듣고, 그들에게 내가 주는 경고를 전하여라.
(7) "Now as for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you shall hear a message from My mouth and give them a warning from Me.
(8) Kalau Aku berfirman kepada orang jahat: Hai orang jahat, engkau pasti mati! --dan engkau tidak berkata apa-apa untuk memperingatkan orang jahat itu supaya bertobat dari hidupnya, orang jahat itu akan mati dalam kesalahannya, tetapi Aku akan menuntut pertanggungan jawab atas nyawanya dari padamu.
(8) 내가 악한 사람들에게, ‘오 악한 자여, 네가 반드시 죽을 것이다’라고 말하면, 너는 그에게 악한 길을 단념하라고 목소리를 높여야 한다. 그렇지 않으면 그 악한 자는 자신의 죄 때문에 죽을 것이나, 나는 그의 피를 네 탓으로 돌릴 것이다.
(8) When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will certainly die,' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man will die because of his sin; but I will require his blood from your hand.
(9) Tetapi jikalau engkau memperingatkan orang jahat itu supaya ia bertobat dari hidupnya, tetapi ia tidak mau bertobat, ia akan mati dalam kesalahannya, tetapi engkau telah menyelamatkan nyawamu.
(9) 그러나 만약 네가 그 악한 사람에게 그의 길에서 돌이키도록 경고했으나, 그가 돌이키지 않는다면, 그는 자신의 죄 때문에 죽을 것이며 너는 목숨을 건질 수 있을 것이다.
(9) But if you on your part warn the wicked man to turn from his [evil] way and he does not turn from his [evil] way, he will die in his sin; but you have saved your life.
(10) Dan engkau anak manusia, katakanlah kepada kaum Israel: Kamu berkata begini: Pelanggaran kami dan dosa kami sudah tertanggung atas kami dan karena itu kami hancur; bagaimanakah kami dapat tetap hidup?
(10) 사람아, 이스라엘의 집에 말하여라. 그들은 ‘우리의 잘못과 죄악이 우리를 짓누르고 있고, 이것들 때문에 우리가 야위어 가고 있다. 그러하니 우리가 어떻게 살 수 있을까?’라고 말하고 있다.
(10) "Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, 'Thus you have said, "Truly our transgressions and our sins are on us, and we are rotting away because of them; how then can we live?"'
(11) Katakanlah kepada mereka: Demi Aku yang hidup, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH, Aku tidak berkenan kepada kematian orang fasik, melainkan Aku berkenan kepada pertobatan orang fasik itu dari kelakuannya supaya ia hidup. Bertobatlah, bertobatlah dari hidupmu yang jahat itu! Mengapakah kamu akan mati, hai kaum Israel?
(11) 그들에게 말하여라. ‘주 여호와께서 말씀하신다. 맹세코, 나는 악한 사람이 죽는 것을 즐거워하지 않으며, 오히려 그들이 악한 길에서 돌이켜 살기를 바란다. 돌아오너라! 너의 악한 길에서 돌아오너라! 오 이스라엘의 집이여, 왜 네가 죽으려 하느냐?’
(11) Say to them, 'As I live,' says the Lord GOD, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back (change your way of thinking), turn back [in repentance] from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?'
(12) Dan engkau anak manusia, katakanlah kepada teman-temanmu sebangsa: Kebenaran orang benar tidak menyelamatkan dia, pada waktu ia jatuh dalam pelanggaran dan kejahatan orang jahat tidak menyebabkan dia tersandung, pada waktu ia bertobat dari kejahatannya; dan orang benar tidak dapat hidup karena kebenarannya, pada waktu ia berbuat dosa.
(12) 사람아, 네 백성들에게 말하여라. ‘의로운 자의 의로움이라도 그가 순종하지 않을 때는 그를 구하지 못할 것이요, 악한 사람의 악함이라도 그가 악에서 돌이킬 때는 그를 넘어지게 하지 않을 것이다. 의로운 사람이라도 그가 죄를 짓게 된다면, 이전의 그의 의로움 덕분에 살지는 못할 것이다.’
(12) And you, son of man, say to the sons of your people, 'The righteousness of the righteous man will not save him in the day of his transgression; and as for the wickedness of the wicked, he will not stagger because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness, whereas a righteous man will not be able to live because of his [previous acts of] righteousness on the day when he commits sin.'
(13) Kalau Aku berfirman kepada orang benar: Engkau pasti hidup! --tetapi ia mengandalkan kebenarannya dan ia berbuat curang, segala perbuatan-perbuatan kebenarannya tidak akan diperhitungkan, dan ia harus mati dalam kecurangan yang diperbuatnya.
(13) 만약 내가 의로운 사람에게 말하기를 ‘너는 반드시 살 것이다’라고 하였어도, 그가 자신의 의로움을 믿고 악을 행하면, 그가 이전에 행했던 모든 의로운 일들이 하나도 기억되지 않을 것이다. 그는 악한 일들 때문에 죽게 될 것이다.
(13) When I say to the righteous that he will most certainly live, and he trusts in his [previous acts of] righteousness [to save him] and commits injustice, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered; but he will die for his injustice that he committed.
(14) Kalau Aku berfirman kepada orang jahat: Engkau pasti mati! --tetapi ia bertobat dari dosanya serta melakukan keadilan dan kebenaran,
(14) 또 내가 악한 사람에게 말하기를 ‘너는 반드시 죽을 것이다’라고 하였어도, 그가 죄에서 돌이켜 정의롭고 옳은 일을 행하여,
(14) But when I say to the wicked, 'You will certainly die,' and he turns from his sin and practices that which is just (fair) and right—
(15) orang jahat itu mengembalikan gadaian orang, ia membayar ganti rampasannya, menuruti peraturan-peraturan yang memberi hidup, sehingga tidak berbuat curang lagi, ia pasti hidup, ia tidak akan mati.
(15) 빚에 대한 담보로 받은 것을 돌려 주고, 그가 이전에 훔쳤던 것을 되돌려 주며, 생명에 이르게 하는 규정들을 그가 따른다면, 그는 반드시 살고 죽지 않을 것이다.
(15) if a wicked man returns [what he took as] a pledge, pays back what he had taken by robbery, walks in the statutes which ensure life, without committing injustice, he will certainly live; he will not die.
(16) Semua dosa yang diperbuatnya tidak akan diingat-ingat lagi; ia sudah melakukan keadilan dan kebenaran, maka ia pasti hidup.
(16) 그가 과거에 저지른 모든 죄가 하나도 기억되지 않을 것이며, 그가 정의롭고 옳은 일을 행하였기에, 그는 반드시 살 것이다.
(16) None of his sins that he has committed will be remembered against him. He has practiced that which is just (fair) and right; he will most certainly live.
(17) Tetapi teman-temanmu sebangsa berkata: Tindakan Tuhan tidak tepat! Padahal tindakan mereka yang tidak tepat.
(17) 그러나 네 백성들은 ‘여호와의 길은 정의롭지 않다’라고 말하고 있다. 그러나 정의롭지 않은 것은 바로 그들의 길이다.
(17) "Yet your people [who are in exile in Babylon] say, 'The way of the Lord is not right;' but as for them, it is their own way that is not right.
(18) Jikalau orang benar berbalik dari kebenarannya dan melakukan kecurangan, ia harus mati karena itu.
(18) 만약 의로운 사람이 그의 의로움에서 돌이켜 악을 행한다면, 그는 죽을 것이다.
(18) When the righteous turns back from his righteousness and commits injustice, he will also die because of it.
(19) Sebaliknya, kalau orang fasik bertobat dari kefasikannya dan ia melakukan keadilan dan kebenaran, ia pasti hidup karena itu.
(19) 또한 만약 어떤 악한 사람이 그의 악에서 돌이켜 정의롭고 옳은 일을 한다면, 그는 살게 될 것이다.
(19) But when a wicked man turns back from his wickedness and practices what is just (fair) and right, he will live because of it.
(20) Tetapi kamu berkata: Tindakan Tuhan tidak tepat! Aku akan menghakimi kamu, masing-masing menurut kelakuannya, hai kaum Israel."
(20) 오 이스라엘의 집이여, 너는 ‘여호와의 길이 정의롭지 않다’라고 말하고 있다. 그러나 나는 너희 모두를 각 사람이 행한 대로 심판할 것이다.”
(20) Yet you say, 'The way of the Lord is not right.' O house of Israel, I will judge you, every one [of you] in accordance with his own ways!"
33:21-22 = Berita kejatuhan Yerusalem
(21) Pada tahun kesebelas sesudah pembuangan kami, dalam bulan yang kesepuluh, pada tanggal lima bulan itu, datanglah kepadaku seorang yang terluput dari Yerusalem dan berkata: "Kota itu sudah ditaklukkan!"
(21) 우리가 포로로 잡혀 온 지 십이 년째 되는 해 열째 달 오 일에, 예루살렘으로부터 탈출한 한 사람이 내게 와서 “예루살렘이 함락되었습니다!”라고 말했다.
(21) {Word of Jerusalem's Capture}In the twelfth year of our exile [in Babylon], on the fifth of the tenth month, a survivor from Jerusalem came to me, saying, "The city has been captured."
(22) Maka kekuasaan TUHAN meliputi aku pada malam sebelum kedatangan orang yang terluput itu dan TUHAN membuka mulutku pada saat menjelang kedatangan orang yang terluput itu pada pagi hari. Mulutku sudah terbuka dan aku tidak bisu lagi.
(22) 이 사람이 도착하기 전날 저녁에, 여호와의 손이 내게 임했고, 이 사람이 아침에 내게 오기 전에, 여호와께서 나의 입을 여셨다. 그래서 이제 나는 더 이상 잠잠치 않았다.
(22) Now the hand of the LORD had been upon me in the evening, before the survivor came. And He opened my mouth at the time he came to me in the morning; so my mouth was opened [in readiness] and I was no longer mute.
33:23-33 = Israel berkeras hati di negerinya dan di pembuangan
(23) Lalu datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
(23) 그 때에 여호와께서 내게 말씀하셨다.
(23) Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
(24) Hai anak manusia, orang-orang yang tinggal pada reruntuhan-reruntuhan ini, yaitu yang di tanah Israel, berkata begini: Abraham adalah seorang diri, tatkala ia mendapat tanah ini menjadi miliknya, tetapi kita banyak, tentu tanah ini diberikan kepada kita menjadi milik.
(24) “사람아, 폐허가 된 이스라엘 땅에 살고 있는 사람들이 말하기를, ‘아브라함은 단지 한 사람에 불과했는데도, 이 땅을 차지했다. 그런데 우리는 수가 많으니 분명히 이 땅은 우리의 것으로 우리에게 주어졌다’라고 한다.
(24) "Son of man, those [back in Palestine] who inhabit these ruins in the land of Israel are saying, 'Abraham was [only] one man and he took possession of the land, but we are many; the land has [most certainly] been given to us [to possess] as property.'
(25) Oleh karena itu katakanlah kepada mereka: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Kamu makan daging dengan darahnya, kamu melihat juga kepada berhala-berhalamu dan kamu menumpahkan darah--apakah kamu akan tetap memiliki tanah ini?
(25) 그러므로 너는 그들에게 말하여라. ‘너희가 고기를 피째로 먹으며, 우상에게 눈을 돌리고, 사람들의 피를 흘리게 하고도, 그 땅을 차지하려고 하느냐?
(25) Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "You eat meat with the blood in it and raise your eyes to your idols and shed blood. Should you take possession of the land?
(26) Kamu bersandar pada pedangmu, kamu melakukan kekejian dan masing-masing mencemari isteri sesamanya--apakah kamu akan tetap memiliki tanah ini?
(26) 너희는 칼을 의지하며, 역겨워하는 일들을 행하고, 이웃의 아내를 더럽히고 있다. 그런데도 너희가 이 땅을 차지하려고 하느냐?’
(26) You rely on your sword [as your security]; you commit outrageous and disgraceful acts and each of you defiles his neighbor's wife. Should you then take possession of the land?"'
(27) Katakanlah begini kepada mereka: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH. Demi Aku yang hidup, orang-orang yang tinggal pada reruntuhan-reruntuhan akan mati rebah oleh pedang, dan orang-orang yang di padang akan Kuberikan kepada binatang liar menjadi makanannya dan orang-orang yang di dalam kubu dan gua akan mati kena sampar.
(27) 그들에게 말하여라. ‘맹세코, 폐허 가운데 남아 있는 사람들이 칼에 쓰러질 것이요, 들에 나가 있는 사람들은 들짐승들에게 잡혀 먹게 할 것이며, 요새와 동굴에 있는 사람들은 전염병으로 죽게 할 것이다.
(27) You shall say this to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "As I live, those who are in the ruins certainly will fall by the sword, and I will give whoever is in the open field to the [predatory] animals to be devoured, and those who are in strongholds and in caves will die of virulent diseases.
(28) Tanah ini akan Kubuat musnah dan sunyi sepi, dan kecongkakannya, yang ditimbulkan kekuatannya, akan berakhir; gunung-gunung Israel akan menjadi sunyi sepi, sehingga tidak seorangpun berani melintasinya.
(28) 내가 이 땅을 버려진 사막으로 만들겠으며, 이 땅이 자랑하는 힘을 사라지게 하고, 이스라엘의 산들이 황폐하게 됨으로 아무도 그 곳으로 지나다니지 않을 것이다.
(28) And I will make the land [of Israel] a desolation and a ruin, and her pride in her power will be brought to an end; and the mountains of Israel will be so deserted that no one will pass through.
(29) Dan mereka akan mengetahui bahwa Akulah TUHAN, pada saat Aku membuat tanah ini musnah dan sunyi sepi, oleh karena semua perbuatan-perbuatan mereka yang keji, yang mereka lakukan.
(29) 그들이 행했던 모든 역겨운 일들 때문에 내가 이 땅을 황무지로 만들 그 때에 그들이 내가 여호와인 줄 알게 될 것이다.’
(29) Then they will know [without any doubt] that I am the LORD, when I make the land a desolation and a ruin because of all the atrocities which they have committed."'
(30) Dan engkau anak manusia, teman-temanmu sebangsa bercakap-cakap mengenai engkau dekat tembok-tembok dan di pintu rumah-rumah dan berkata satu sama lain, masing-masing kepada temannya. Silakan datang dan dengar, apa yang difirmankan oleh TUHAN!
(30) 사람아, 네 백성이 담 옆이나 집 문간에 모여 너에 관해 말하기를 ‘가서 여호와께로부터 왔다는 말씀을 들어 보자’라고 한다.
(30) "But as for you, son of man, your people who talk about you by the walls and in the doorways of the houses say one to another, every one to his brother, 'Come now and hear what the message is that comes from the LORD.'
(31) Dan mereka datang kepadamu seperti rakyat berkerumun dan duduk di hadapanmu sebagai umat-Ku, mereka mendengar apa yang kauucapkan, tetapi mereka tidak melakukannya; mulutnya penuh dengan kata-kata cinta kasih, tetapi hati mereka mengejar keuntungan yang haram.
(31) 항상 그랬듯이, 내 백성이 네게 와서, 네 앞에 앉아 너의 말을 듣고 있으나, 그들은 들은 것을 실천하지는 않는다. 입으로는 헌신을 표현하지만, 그들의 마음은 부정한 이익들을 탐하고 있다.
(31) They come to you as people come, and they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not practice them; for with their mouth they express loving devotion, but their heart goes after their (unlawful) gain.
(32) Sungguh, engkau bagi mereka seperti seorang yang melagukan syair cinta kasih dengan suara yang merdu, dan yang pandai main kecapi; mereka mendengar apa yang kauucapkan, tetapi mereka sama sekali tidak melakukannya.
(32) 정말로, 그들에게 너는 아름다운 목소리로 사랑의 노래를 부르는 사람일 뿐이며, 악기를 잘 연주하는 사람일 뿐이다. 그것은 그들이 너의 말을 들으나, 그것들을 실천하지는 않기 때문이다.
(32) Behold, you are to them like a love song by one who has a pleasant voice and plays well on a stringed instrument [merely to entertain them]; for they hear your words but do not practice them.
(33) Kalau hal itu datang--dan sungguh akan datang! --mereka akan mengetahui bahwa seorang nabi ada di tengah-tengah mereka."
(33) 이 모든 것들이 반드시 실현될 것이니, 그 때에 그들은 한 예언자가 그들 가운데 있었다는 사실을 알게 될 것이다.”
(33) So when it comes to pass—as it most certainly will—then they will know [without any doubt] that a prophet has been among them."
