(sambungan dari Amos 1:2) Hukuman atas bangsa-bangsa lain
(1) Beginilah firman TUHAN: "Karena tiga perbuatan jahat Moab, bahkan empat, Aku tidak akan menarik kembali keputusan-Ku: Oleh karena ia telah membakar tulang-tulang raja Edom menjadi kapur,
(1) 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. “모압이 죄를 많이 지었으므로, 내가 그들을 심판하겠다. 이는 그들이 에돔 왕의 뼈를 태워 재로 만들었기 때문이다.
(1) {Judgment on Moab}Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Moab and for four (multiplied delinquencies) I will not reverse its punishment or revoke My word concerning it, Because he burned the bones of the king of Edom [Esau's descendant] into lime [and used it to plaster a Moabite house].
(2) Aku akan melepas api ke dalam Moab, sehingga puri Keriot dimakan habis; Moab akan mati di dalam kegaduhan, diiringi sorak-sorai pada saat sangkakala berbunyi;
(2) 그러므로 내가 모압에 불을 보내겠다. 그 불이 그리욧의 요새들을 태울 것이다. 모압 백성은 함성과 나팔 소리가 요란한 가운데 죽을 것이다.
(2) "So I will send a fire [of war, conquest, and destruction] upon Moab And it shall devour the strongholds of Kerioth; And Moab shall die amid tumult and uproar, With war cries and shouts of alarm and the sound of the trumpet.
(3) Aku akan melenyapkan penguasa dari antaranya dan membunuh segala pembesarnya bersama-sama dengan dia," firman TUHAN.
(3) 내가 모압의 왕을 없애고 그의 신하들도 다 죽이겠다.” 여호와의 말씀이다.
(3) "I will also cut off and destroy the ruler from its midst And slay all the princes with him," says the LORD.
Hukuman atas Yehuda
(4) Beginilah firman TUHAN: "Karena tiga perbuatan jahat Yehuda, bahkan empat, Aku tidak akan menarik kembali keputusan-Ku: Oleh karena mereka telah menolak hukum TUHAN, dan tidak berpegang pada ketetapan-ketetapan-Nya, tetapi disesatkan oleh dewa-dewa kebohongannya, yang diikuti oleh nenek moyangnya,
(4) 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. “유다가 죄를 많이 지었으므로, 내가 그들을 심판하겠다. 이는 그들이 나 여호와의 율법을 저버리고 나 여호와의 명령을 따르지 않았기 때문이다. 또, 그들의 조상이 따르던 거짓 신들을 좇았기 때문이다.
(4) {Judgment on Judah}Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Judah and for four (multiplied delinquencies) I will not reverse its punishment or revoke My word concerning it, Because they have rejected the law of the LORD [the sum of God's instruction to His people] And have not kept His commandments; But their lies [and their idols], after which their fathers walked, Caused them to go astray.
(5) Aku akan melepas api ke dalam Yehuda, sehingga puri Yerusalem dimakan habis."
(5) 그러므로 내가 유다에 불을 보내겠다. 그 불이 예루살렘의 요새들을 태울 것이다.”
(5) "So I will send a fire [of war, conquest, and destruction by the Babylonians] upon Judah And it will devour the strongholds of Jerusalem."
Hukuman atas Israel
(6) Beginilah firman TUHAN: "Karena tiga perbuatan jahat Israel, bahkan empat, Aku tidak akan menarik kembali keputusan-Ku: Oleh karena mereka menjual orang benar karena uang dan orang miskin karena sepasang kasut;
(6) 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. “이스라엘이 죄를 많이 지었으므로, 내가 그들을 심판하겠다. 이는 그들이 은을 받고 의로운 사람을 팔았으며, 가난한 사람을 신발 한 켤레 값에 팔았기 때문이다.
(6) {Judgment on Israel}Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Israel and for four (multiplied delinquencies) I will not reverse its punishment or revoke My word concerning it, Because they sell the righteous and innocent for silver And the needy for the price of a pair of sandals.
(7) mereka menginjak-injak kepala orang lemah ke dalam debu dan membelokkan jalan orang sengsara; anak dan ayah pergi menjamah seorang perempuan muda, sehingga melanggar kekudusan nama-Ku;
(7) 또 흙을 밟듯이 가난한 사람을 짓밟았고, 연약한 자의 길을 굽게 하였다. 아버지와 아들이 한 여자와 잠자리를 같이하여 나의 거룩한 이름을 더럽혔다.
(7) "These who pant after (long to see) the dust of the earth on the head of the helpless [as sign of their grief and distress] Also turn aside the way of the humble; And a man and his father will go to the same girl So that My holy name is profaned.
(8) mereka merebahkan diri di samping setiap mezbah di atas pakaian gadaian orang, dan minum anggur orang-orang yang kena denda di rumah Allah mereka.
(8) 그들의 신전에서 예배할 때도 가난한 사람에게서 빼앗은 옷 위에 누웠다. 벌금으로 거둔 돈으로 포도주를 사서 그들의 신전에서 마셨다.
(8) "They stretch out beside every [pagan] altar on clothes taken in pledge [to secure a loan, disregarding God's command], And in the house of their God [in contempt of Him] they frivolously drink the wine [which has been] taken from those who have been fined.
(9) Padahal Akulah yang memunahkan dari depan mereka, orang Amori, yang tingginya seperti tinggi pohon aras dan yang kuat seperti pohon tarbantin; Aku telah memunahkan buahnya dari atas dan akarnya dari bawah.
(9) 내가 그들 앞에서 아모리 사람들을 멸망시켰다. 그들의 키는 백향목처럼 컸으며 상수리나무처럼 튼튼했지만 내가 그들을 완전히 멸망시켰다.
(9) "Yet it was I [not the false gods] who destroyed the Amorite before them, Though his height was like the height of the cedars, And he was as strong as the oaks; I even destroyed his fruit above and his root below.
(10) Padahal Akulah yang menuntun kamu keluar dari tanah Mesir dan memimpin kamu empat puluh tahun lamanya di padang gurun, supaya kamu menduduki negeri orang Amori;
(10) 내가 너희를 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 내어 사십 년 동안 광야에서 인도하였고, 마침내 아모리 사람들의 땅을 너희에게 주었다.
(10) "Also it was I who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, And I led you forty years through the wilderness That you might possess the land of the Amorite.
(11) Aku telah membangkitkan sebagian dari anak-anakmu menjadi nabi dan sebagian dari teruna-terunamu menjadi nazir. Bukankah betul-betul begitu, hai orang Israel?" demikianlah firman TUHAN.
(11) 내가 너희의 아들들을 예언자로 세웠고 젊은이들 중에서 나실인을 삼았다. 이스라엘 백성아, 그렇지 아니하냐?” 여호와의 말씀이다.
(11) "Then I raised up some of your sons to be prophets [who gave you My revelation], And some of your young men to be Nazirites (dedicated ones). Is this not true, O you children of Israel?" says the LORD.
(12) Tetapi kamu memberi orang nazir minum anggur dan memerintahkan kepada para nabi: Jangan kamu bernubuat!
(12) “그러나 너희는 나실인에게 포도주를 먹였고, 예언자들에게 말하기를 ‘너희는 예언하지 마라’ 하였다.
(12) "But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink [despite their vows] And commanded the prophets, saying, 'You shall not prophesy!'
(13) Sesungguhnya, Aku akan mengguncangkan tempat kamu berpijak seperti goncangan kereta yang sarat dengan berkas gandum.
(13) 그러므로 곡식이 가득 찬 수레가 흙을 짓누르는 것처럼 내가 너희를 짓누르겠다.
(13) "Behold, I am weighted down beneath you As a cart that is weighted down when it is full of sheaves.
(14) Orang cepat tidak mungkin lagi melarikan diri, orang kuat tidak dapat menggunakan kekuatannya, dan pahlawan tidak dapat melarikan diri.
(14) 아무리 빠른 사람도 피할 수 없고, 아무리 강한 사람도 힘을 내지 못하고, 용사라도 제 목숨을 건질 수 없을 것이다.
(14) "Flight will be lost to the swift [so they will be unable to escape], And the strong shall not strengthen nor maintain his power, Nor shall the mighty man save his own life.
(15) Pemegang panah tidak dapat bertahan, orang yang cepat kaki tidak akan terluput dan penunggang kuda tidak dapat meluputkan diri.
(15) 활과 화살을 가진 군인도 버티지 못하고, 발이 빠른 군인도 피하지 못하고, 말을 탄 군인도 제 목숨을 구하지 못할 것이다.
(15) "He who handles the bow will not stand his ground, The one who is swift of foot will not escape, Nor will he who rides the horse save his life [from the invading army].
(16) Juga orang yang berhati berani di antara para pahlawan akan melarikan diri dengan telanjang pada hari itu," demikianlah firman TUHAN.
(16) 그 날에는 용사 중의 용사도 벌거벗은 채 도망갈 것이다.” 여호와의 말씀이다.
(16) "Even the bravest among the warriors shall flee naked on that day," says the LORD.
