1:1 - 2:1 = Ajakan untuk membangun kembali Bait Suci
(1) Pada tahun yang kedua zaman raja Darius, dalam bulan yang keenam, pada hari pertama bulan itu, datanglah firman TUHAN dengan perantaraan nabi Hagai kepada Zerubabel bin Sealtiel, bupati Yehuda, dan kepada Yosua bin Yozadak, imam besar, bunyinya:
(1) 다리오 왕 이 년 여섯째 달 초하루에 예언자 학개가 여호와의 말씀을 스알디엘의 아들이며 유다 총독인 스룹바벨과, 여호사닥의 아들이며 대제사장인 여호수아에게 전했습니다.
(1) {Haggai Begins Temple Building}In the second year of Darius the king [of Persia], on the first day of the sixth month (Aug 29, 520 b.c.), the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying,
(2) Beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam: Bangsa ini berkata: Sekarang belum tiba waktunya untuk membangun kembali rumah TUHAN!
(2) 만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “백성이 ‘아직 여호와의 성전을 지을 때가 되지 않았다’고 말한다.”
(2) "Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'These people say, "The time has not come that the Lord's house (temple) should be rebuilt."'"
(3) Maka datanglah firman TUHAN dengan perantaraan nabi Hagai, bunyinya:
(3) 예언자 학개가 여호와의 말씀을 전했습니다.
(3) Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying,
(4) Apakah sudah tiba waktunya bagi kamu untuk mendiami rumah-rumahmu yang dipapani dengan baik, sedang Rumah ini tetap menjadi reruntuhan?
(4) “성전이 아직도 폐허로 남아 있는데 너희가 그렇게 멋진 집에서 사는 것이 옳으냐?
(4) "Is it time for you yourselves to live in your [expensive] paneled houses while this house [of the LORD] lies in ruins?"
(5) Oleh sebab itu, beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam: Perhatikanlah keadaanmu!
(5) 그러므로 만군의 여호와가 말한다. 너희가 한 일을 생각해 보아라.
(5) Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts, "Consider your ways and thoughtfully reflect on your conduct!
(6) Kamu menabur banyak, tetapi membawa pulang hasil sedikit; kamu makan, tetapi tidak sampai kenyang; kamu minum, tetapi tidak sampai puas; kamu berpakaian, tetapi badanmu tidak sampai panas; dan orang yang bekerja untuk upah, ia bekerja untuk upah yang ditaruh dalam pundi-pundi yang berlobang!
(6) 너희가 심기는 많이 심었으나 거두기는 적게 거두었다. 먹어도 배부르지 않으며, 마셔도 여전히 목마르며, 옷을 입어도 따뜻하지 않으며, 돈을 벌어도 마치 구멍 난 주머니에 넣은 것처럼 모두 잃어버리고 만다.
(6) You have planted much, but you harvest little; you eat, but you do not have enough; you drink, but you do not have enough to be intoxicated; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm enough; and he who earns wages earns them just to put them in a bag with holes in it [because God has withheld His blessing]."
(7) Beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam: Perhatikanlah keadaanmu!
(7) 나 만군의 여호와가 말한다. 너희가 한 일을 생각해 보아라.
(7) Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Consider your ways and thoughtfully reflect on your conduct!
(8) Jadi naiklah ke gunung, bawalah kayu dan bangunlah Rumah itu; maka Aku akan berkenan kepadanya dan akan menyatakan kemuliaan-Ku di situ, firman TUHAN.
(8) 산에 올라가 나무를 가져다가 성전을 지어라. 그러면 내가 그 성전으로 인해 기뻐하고 영광을 받겠다. 여호와의 말씀이다.
(8) Go up to the hill country, bring lumber and rebuild My house (temple), that I may be pleased with it and be glorified," says the LORD [accepting it as done for My glory].
(9) Kamu mengharapkan banyak, tetapi hasilnya sedikit, dan ketika kamu membawanya ke rumah, Aku menghembuskannya. Oleh karena apa? demikianlah firman TUHAN semesta alam. Oleh karena rumah-Ku yang tetap menjadi reruntuhan, sedang kamu masing-masing sibuk dengan urusan rumahnya sendiri.
(9) 너희가 바라는 것은 많았으나 찾은 것은 적었다. 너희가 집으로 가져간 것도 내가 없애 버렸다. 무엇 때문이냐? 그것은 내 집이 폐허로 남아 있는데도 너희가 각기 자기 집 일에만 정신을 쏟고 있기 때문이다.
(9) You look for much [harvest], but it comes to little; and even when you bring that home, I blow it away. Why?" says the LORD of hosts. "Because of My house, which lies in ruins while each of you runs to his own house [eager to enjoy it].
(10) Itulah sebabnya langit menahan embunnya dan bumi menahan hasilnya,
(10) 그러므로 너희 때문에 하늘은 비를 내리지 않았고, 땅은 작물을 내지 않았다.
(10) Therefore, because of you [that is, your sin and disobedience] the heavens withhold the dew and the earth withholds its produce.
(11) dan Aku memanggil kekeringan datang ke atas negeri, ke atas gunung-gunung, ke atas gandum, ke atas anggur, ke atas minyak, ke atas segala yang dihasilkan tanah, ke atas manusia dan hewan dan ke atas segala hasil usaha."
(11) 내가 땅에 가뭄이 들게 하였다. 비가 내리지 않아 곡식과 새 포도주와 올리브 기름이 나지 않았다. 땅에서 나는 식물과 사람과 짐승들 모두 가뭄을 겪었다. 가뭄 때문에 너희가 하는 모든 일이 헛수고가 되었다.”
(11) I called for a drought on the land and the hill country, on the grain, on the new wine, on the oil, on what the ground produces, on men, on cattle, and on all the labor of your hands."
(12) Lalu Zerubabel bin Sealtiel dan Yosua bin Yozadak, imam besar, dan selebihnya dari bangsa itu mendengarkan suara TUHAN, Allah mereka, dan juga perkataan nabi Hagai, sesuai dengan apa yang disuruhkan kepadanya oleh TUHAN, Allah mereka; lalu takutlah bangsa itu kepada TUHAN.
(12) 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 여호사닥의 아들인 대제사장 여호수아가 살아 남은 백성과 함께 그들의 하나님 여호와의 말씀에 복종했습니다. 그리고 예언자 학개의 말에도 복종했습니다. 이는 그들이 하나님 여호와께서 학개를 보내셨다는 것을 깨달았기 때문입니다. 그들은 여호와를 두려워했습니다.
(12) Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people [who had returned from exile], listened carefully and obeyed the voice of the LORD their God and the words of Haggai the prophet, since the LORD their God had sent him. And the people [reverently] feared the LORD.
(13) Maka berkatalah Hagai, utusan TUHAN itu, menurut pesan TUHAN kepada bangsa itu, demikian: "Aku ini menyertai kamu, demikianlah firman TUHAN."
(13) 여호와의 사자 학개가 백성들에게 여호와의 말씀을 전했습니다. “‘내가 너희와 함께 있겠다.’ 여호와의 말씀이다.”
(13) Then Haggai, the Lord's messenger, spoke the Lord's message to the people saying, " 'I am with you,' declares the LORD."
(14) TUHAN menggerakkan semangat Zerubabel bin Sealtiel, bupati Yehuda, dan semangat Yosua bin Yozadak, imam besar, dan semangat selebihnya dari bangsa itu, maka datanglah mereka, lalu melakukan pekerjaan pembangunan rumah TUHAN semesta alam, Allah mereka,
(14) 여호와께서 스룹바벨과 여호수아의 마음을 움직이셔서 성전을 짓게 하셨습니다. 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨은 유다 총독이었고, 여호사닥의 아들 여호수아는 대제사장이었습니다. 주께서는 살아 남은 나머지 백성의 마음도 움직이셨습니다. 그래서 그들은 와서 만군의 여호와의 성전을 짓기 시작했습니다.
(14) So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and worked on the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,
(15) (2-1a) pada hari yang kedua puluh empat dalam bulan yang keenam. (2-1b) Pada tahun yang kedua zaman raja Darius,
(15) 그 때는 다리오가 페르시아 왕으로 있은 지 이 년째 되는 해 여섯째 달 이십사 일이었습니다.
(15) on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month (Sept 21, 520 b.c.) in the second year of Darius the king.
