14:1-38 = Pemberontakan umat Israel
(1) Lalu segenap umat itu mengeluarkan suara nyaring dan bangsa itu menangis pada malam itu.
(1) 그 날 밤, 모든 백성이 큰 소리로 울기 시작했습니다.
(1) {The People Rebel}Then all the congregation [of Israel] raised their voices and cried out, and the people wept that night.
(2) Bersungut-sungutlah semua orang Israel kepada Musa dan Harun; dan segenap umat itu berkata kepada mereka: "Ah, sekiranya kami mati di tanah Mesir, atau di padang gurun ini!
(2) 모든 이스라엘 백성이 모세와 아론에게 불평했습니다. 모든 백성이 그들에게 말했습니다. “우리가 이집트에서 죽었거나 광야에서 죽었더라면 더 좋았을 것이오.
(2) All the Israelites murmured [in discontent] against Moses and Aaron; and the whole congregation said to them, "Oh that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or that we had died in this wilderness!
(3) Mengapakah TUHAN membawa kami ke negeri ini, supaya kami tewas oleh pedang, dan isteri serta anak-anak kami menjadi tawanan? Bukankah lebih baik kami pulang ke Mesir?"
(3) 여호와께서는 왜 우리를 이 땅으로 인도해서 칼에 맞아 죽게 하는 거요? 우리 아내와 자식들은 잡혀 가고 말 것이오. 차라리 이집트로 돌아가는 것이 좋겠소.”
(3) Why is the LORD bringing us to this land [of Canaan], to fall by the sword? Our wives and children will become plunder. Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?"
(4) Dan mereka berkata seorang kepada yang lain: "Baiklah kita mengangkat seorang pemimpin, lalu pulang ke Mesir."
(4) 그들이 또 서로 말했습니다. “지도자를 뽑아서 이집트로 돌아갑시다.”
(4) So they said one to another, "Let us appoint a [new] leader and return to Egypt."
(5) Lalu sujudlah Musa dan Harun di depan mata seluruh jemaah Israel yang berkumpul di situ.
(5) 모세와 아론은 그 곳에 모인 모든 이스라엘 백성 앞에서 땅에 엎드렸습니다.
(5) Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the Israelites.
(6) Tetapi Yosua bin Nun dan Kaleb bin Yefune, yang termasuk orang-orang yang telah mengintai negeri itu, mengoyakkan pakaiannya,
(6) 가나안 땅을 정탐하고 온 눈의 아들 여호수아와 여분네의 아들 갈렙은 옷을 찢었습니다.
(6) Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes [as a sign of grief],
(7) dan berkata kepada segenap umat Israel: "Negeri yang kami lalui untuk diintai itu adalah luar biasa baiknya.
(7) 그들이 모든 이스라엘 백성에게 말했습니다. “우리가 정탐하러 갔던 땅은 매우 좋은 곳입니다.
(7) and they spoke to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying, "The land through which we passed as spies is an exceedingly good land.
(8) Jika TUHAN berkenan kepada kita, maka Ia akan membawa kita masuk ke negeri itu dan akan memberikannya kepada kita, suatu negeri yang berlimpah-limpah susu dan madunya.
(8) 여호와께서 우리에게 자비를 베푸신다면 우리를 그 땅으로 인도하실 것입니다. 젖과 꿀이 넘쳐 흐를 만큼 비옥한 그 땅을 우리에게 주실 것입니다.
(8) If the LORD delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land which flows with milk and honey.
(9) Hanya, janganlah memberontak kepada TUHAN, dan janganlah takut kepada bangsa negeri itu, sebab mereka akan kita telan habis. Yang melindungi mereka sudah meninggalkan mereka, sedang TUHAN menyertai kita; janganlah takut kepada mereka."
(9) 여호와를 배반하지 마십시오. 그 땅의 백성을 두려워하지 마십시오. 그들은 우리의 밥이나 마찬가지입니다. 그들에게는 방벽이 없지만 우리에게는 여호와가 계십니다. 그들을 두려워하지 마십시오.”
(9) Only do not rebel against the LORD; and do not fear the people of the land, for they will be our prey. Their protection has been removed from them, and the LORD is with us. Do not fear them."
(10) Lalu segenap umat itu mengancam hendak melontari kedua orang itu dengan batu. Tetapi tampaklah kemuliaan TUHAN di Kemah Pertemuan kepada semua orang Israel.
(10) 그러나 모든 무리는 그들을 돌로 쳐서 죽이려고 했습니다. 그 때에 여호와의 영광이 회막에서 이스라엘 백성에게 나타났습니다.
(10) But all the congregation said to stone Joshua and Caleb with stones. But the glory and brilliance of the LORD appeared at the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) before all the sons of Israel.
(11) TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa: "Berapa lama lagi bangsa ini menista Aku, dan berapa lama lagi mereka tidak mau percaya kepada-Ku, sekalipun sudah ada segala tanda mujizat yang Kulakukan di tengah-tengah mereka!
(11) 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 이들 가운데서 기적을 일으켰는데도 이 백성이 언제까지 나를 멸시할 것이냐? 언제까지 나를 믿지 않을 것이냐?
(11) {Moses Pleads for the People}The LORD said to Moses, "How long will these people treat me disrespectfully and reject Me? And how long will they not believe in Me, despite all the [miraculous] signs which I have performed among them?
(12) Aku akan memukul mereka dengan penyakit sampar dan melenyapkan mereka, tetapi engkau akan Kubuat menjadi bangsa yang lebih besar dan lebih kuat dari pada mereka."
(12) 내가 이들에게 끔찍한 병을 내려서 이들을 없애 버리겠다. 그러나 너를 통하여 이들보다 크고 센 나라를 이룰 것이다.”
(12) I will strike them with the pestilence (plague) and dispossess them, and will make you into a nation greater and mightier than they."
(13) Lalu berkatalah Musa kepada TUHAN: "Jikalau hal itu kedengaran kepada orang Mesir, padahal Engkau telah menuntun bangsa ini dengan kekuatan-Mu dari tengah-tengah mereka,
(13) 모세가 여호와께 말씀드렸습니다. “이집트 사람들이 듣겠습니다. 여호와께서는 이 백성을 크신 능력으로 이집트에서 인도해 내셨습니다.
(13) But Moses said to the LORD, "Then the Egyptians will hear of it, for by Your strength You brought up these people from among them,
(14) mereka akan berceritera kepada penduduk negeri ini, yang telah mendengar bahwa Engkau, TUHAN, ada di tengah-tengah bangsa ini, dan bahwa Engkau, TUHAN, menampakkan diri-Mu kepada mereka dengan berhadapan muka, waktu awan-Mu berdiri di atas mereka dan waktu Engkau berjalan mendahului mereka di dalam tiang awan pada waktu siang dan di dalam tiang api pada waktu malam.
(14) 이집트 사람이 이 땅에 사는 사람들에게 이 일에 대해 말할 것입니다. 그들은 이미 여호와에 대해 알고 있습니다. 그들은 여호와께서 여호와의 백성과 함께 계시다는 것을 알고 있습니다. 그리고 여호와께서 얼굴과 얼굴을 마주해 보이셨다는 것도 알고 있습니다. 그들은 여호와의 구름이 여호와의 백성 위에 머문다는 것과 여호와께서 낮에는 구름으로, 밤에는 불로 여호와의 백성을 인도하신다는 것도 알고 있습니다.
(14) and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that You, LORD, are among these people [of Israel], that You, LORD, are seen face to face, while Your cloud stands over them; and that You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.
(15) Jadi jikalau Engkau membunuh bangsa ini sampai habis, maka bangsa-bangsa yang mendengar kabar tentang Engkau itu nanti berkata:
(15) 나라들이 여호와의 능력을 들어 알고 있습니다. 만약 여호와께서 여호와의 백성을 단번에 죽이시면, 나라들은
(15) Now if You kill these people as one man, then the nations (Gentiles) that have heard of Your fame will say,
(16) Oleh karena TUHAN tidak berkuasa membawa bangsa ini masuk ke negeri yang dijanjikan-Nya dengan bersumpah kepada mereka, maka Ia menyembelih mereka di padang gurun.
(16) ‘여호와는 자기 백성을 약속한 땅으로 데려갈 힘이 없어서 광야에서 죽여 버렸다’라고 말할 것입니다.
(16) 'Because the LORD was not able to bring these people into the land which He promised to give them, therefore He slaughtered them in the wilderness.'
(17) Jadi sekarang, biarlah kiranya kekuatan TUHAN itu nyata kebesarannya, seperti yang Kaufirmankan:
(17) 그러므로 나의 여호와시여, 이제 곧 주의 큰 힘을 보여 주십시오. 전에 말씀하신 대로 해 주십시오.
(17) But now, please, let the power of the Lord be great, just as You have declared, saying,
(18) TUHAN itu berpanjangan sabar dan kasih setia-Nya berlimpah-limpah, Ia mengampuni kesalahan dan pelanggaran, tetapi sekali-kali tidak membebaskan orang yang bersalah dari hukuman, bahkan Ia membalaskan kesalahan bapa kepada anak-anaknya, kepada keturunan yang ketiga dan keempat.
(18) 여호와께서는 ‘나는 그리 쉽게 노하지 않는다. 나는 한결같은 사랑의 하나님이다. 나는 허물과 죄를 용서해 준다. 하지만 나는 죄를 그냥 보아 넘기지는 않는다. 나는 죄지은 사람뿐만 아니라, 그의 삼대나 사대 자손에게까지 벌을 내린다’라고 말씀하셨습니다.
(18) 'The LORD is slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving wickedness and transgression; but He will by no means clear the guilty, visiting (avenging) the wickedness and guilt of the fathers on the children, to the third and fourth generations [that is, calling the children to account for the sins of their fathers].'
(19) Ampunilah kiranya kesalahan bangsa ini sesuai dengan kebesaran kasih setia-Mu, seperti Engkau telah mengampuni bangsa ini mulai dari Mesir sampai ke mari."
(19) 주의 한결같은 사랑을 베풀어 주십시오. 이 백성의 죄를 용서해 주십시오. 이들이 이집트를 떠났을 때부터 지금까지 용서해 주셨던 것처럼 이제도 용서해 주십시오.”
(19) Please pardon the wickedness and guilt of these people according to the greatness of Your lovingkindness, just as You have forgiven these people, from Egypt even until now."
(20) Berfirmanlah TUHAN: "Aku mengampuninya sesuai dengan permintaanmu.
(20) 여호와께서 대답하셨습니다. “네가 구한 대로 그들을 용서해 주겠다.
(20) {The Lord Pardons and Rebukes}So the LORD said, "I have pardoned them according to your word;
(21) Hanya, demi Aku yang hidup dan kemuliaan TUHAN memenuhi seluruh bumi:
(21) 그러나 내가 사는 한, 그리고 내 영광이 온 땅에 가득 차는 한, 한 가지 약속을 하겠다.
(21) but indeed as I live, all the earth will be filled with the glory of the LORD.
(22) Semua orang yang telah melihat kemuliaan-Ku dan tanda-tanda mujizat yang Kuperbuat di Mesir dan di padang gurun, namun telah sepuluh kali mencobai Aku dan tidak mau mendengarkan suara-Ku,
(22) 이 모든 백성은 내 영광을 보았고, 내가 이집트와 광야에서 일으킨 기적을 보았다. 그러나 그들은 나의 말을 따르지 않고 열 번이나 나를 시험했다.
(22) Surely all the men who have seen My glory and My [miraculous] signs which I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have put Me to the test these ten times and have not listened to My voice,
(23) pastilah tidak akan melihat negeri yang Kujanjikan dengan bersumpah kepada nenek moyang mereka! Semua yang menista Aku ini tidak akan melihatnya.
(23) 그러므로 어느 누구도 내가 그들의 조상에게 약속한 땅을 보지 못할 것이다. 나를 노하게 한 사람은 그 누구도 그 땅을 볼 수 없을 것이다.
(23) will by no means see the land which I swore to [give to] their fathers; nor will any who treated me disrespectfully and rejected Me see it.
(24) Tetapi hamba-Ku Kaleb, karena lain jiwa yang ada padanya dan ia mengikut Aku dengan sepenuhnya, akan Kubawa masuk ke negeri yang telah dimasukinya itu, dan keturunannya akan memilikinya.
(24) 그러나 내 종 갈렙은 다른 마음을 가졌다. 갈렙은 나를 온전히 따르고 있다. 따라서 나는 그가 이미 본 땅으로 그를 데리고 가겠다. 그리고 그의 자녀들은 그 땅을 차지하게 될 것이다.
(24) But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land into which he entered, and his descendants shall take possession of it.
(25) Orang Amalek dan orang Kanaan diam di lembah. Sebab itu berpalinglah besok dan berangkatlah ke padang gurun, ke arah Laut Teberau."
(25) 아말렉 사람과 가나안 사람이 골짜기에서 살고 있으니 너는 내일 돌아가거라. 홍해 길을 따라 광야 쪽으로 가거라.”
(25) Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites live in the valley; tomorrow turn and set out for the wilderness by way of the Red Sea."
(26) Lagi berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa dan Harun:
(26) 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하셨습니다.
(26) The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
(27) Berapa lama lagi umat yang jahat ini akan bersungut-sungut kepada-Ku? Segala sesuatu yang disungut-sungutkan orang Israel kepada-Ku telah Kudengar.
(27) “이 악한 백성이 언제까지 나에게 불평하려느냐? 나는 이 이스라엘 백성이 원망하고 불평하는 소리를 들었다.
(27) "How long shall I put up with this evil congregation who murmur [in discontent] against Me? I have heard the complaints of the Israelites, which they are making against Me.
(28) Katakanlah kepada mereka: Demi Aku yang hidup, demikianlah firman TUHAN, bahwasanya seperti yang kamu katakan di hadapan-Ku, demikianlah akan Kulakukan kepadamu.
(28) 그러니 그들에게 전하여라. ‘여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. 나는 너희가 말하는 것을 들었다. 내가 사는 한, 내가 들은 말대로 너희에게 해 줄 것이다.
(28) Say to them, 'As I live,' says the LORD, 'just what you have spoken in My hearing I will most certainly do to you;
(29) Di padang gurun ini bangkai-bangkaimu akan berhantaran, yakni semua orang di antara kamu yang dicatat, semua tanpa terkecuali yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, karena kamu telah bersungut-sungut kepada-Ku.
(29) 너희는 이 광야에서 죽을 것이다. 너희 가운데 스무 살 이상 된 사람으로서 인구 조사를 할 때 그 수에 포함되었던 사람은 모두 죽을 것이다. 너희는 여호와인 나에게 불평했으니,
(29) your dead bodies will fall in this wilderness, even all who were numbered of you, your entire number from twenty years old and upward, who have murmured against Me.
(30) Bahwasanya kamu ini tidak akan masuk ke negeri yang dengan mengangkat sumpah telah Kujanjikan akan Kuberi kamu diami, kecuali Kaleb bin Yefune dan Yosua bin Nun!
(30) 너희 가운데 한 사람도 내가 너희에게 약속한 땅에 들어가 살지 못하게 하겠다. 오직 여분네의 아들 갈렙과 눈의 아들 여호수아만이 들어갈 수 있을 것이다.
(30) Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, not one of you shall enter the land in which I swore [an oath] to settle you.
(31) Tentang anak-anakmu yang telah kamu katakan: Mereka akan menjadi tawanan, merekalah yang akan Kubawa masuk, supaya mereka mengenal negeri yang telah kamu hinakan itu.
(31) 너희가 잡혀갈 것이라고 말한 너희 자녀는 내가 그 땅으로 인도할 것이다. 그들은 너희가 저버린 그 땅을 차지할 것이다.
(31) But your children whom you said would become plunder, I will bring in, and they will know the land which you have despised and rejected.
(32) Tetapi mengenai kamu, bangkai-bangkaimu akan berhantaran di padang gurun ini,
(32) 그리고 너희는 이 광야에서 죽고,
(32) But as for you, your dead bodies will fall in this wilderness.
(33) dan anak-anakmu akan mengembara sebagai penggembala di padang gurun empat puluh tahun lamanya dan akan menanggung akibat ketidaksetiaan, sampai bangkai-bangkaimu habis di padang gurun.
(33) 너희 자녀는 사십 년 동안, 이 광야에서 떠돌아다닐 것이다. 그들은 너희의 허물을 짊어지고, 너희가 광야에서 죽어 땅에 묻힐 때까지 고통을 당할 것이다.
(33) Your sons shall be wanderers and shepherds in the wilderness for forty years, and they will suffer for your unfaithfulness (spiritual infidelity), until your corpses are consumed in the wilderness.
(34) Sesuai dengan jumlah hari yang kamu mengintai negeri itu, yakni empat puluh hari, satu hari dihitung satu tahun, jadi empat puluh tahun lamanya kamu harus menanggung akibat kesalahanmu, supaya kamu tahu rasanya, jika Aku berbalik dari padamu:
(34) 너희는 사십 년 동안, 너희 죄 때문에 고통을 당할 것이다. 그 사십 년은 너희가 그 땅을 정탐한 사십 일의 하루를 일 년으로 친 것이다. 너희는 내가 너희를 싫어하는 것이 어떤 것인지를 알게 될 것이다.’
(34) According to the number of days in which you spied out the land [of Canaan], forty days, for each day, you shall bear and suffer a year for your sins and guilt, for forty years, and you shall know My displeasure [the revoking of My promise and My estrangement because of your sin].
(35) Aku, TUHAN, yang berkata demikian. Sesungguhnya Aku akan melakukan semuanya itu kepada segenap umat yang jahat ini yang telah bersepakat melawan Aku. Di padang gurun ini mereka akan habis dan di sinilah mereka akan mati."
(35) 여호와인 나의 말이다. 나는 이 악한 백성에게 내가 말한 이 모든 일을 분명히 하겠다. 그들은 한데 어울려 나를 배반했다. 그러므로 그들은 모두 이 광야에서 죽을 것이다.”
(35) I, the LORD, have spoken. I will most certainly do this to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against Me. In this wilderness they shall be consumed [by war, disease, and plagues], and here they shall die.'"
(36) Adapun orang-orang yang telah disuruh Musa untuk mengintai negeri itu, yang sudah pulang dan menyebabkan segenap umat itu bersungut-sungut kepada Musa dengan menyampaikan kabar busuk tentang negeri itu,
(36) 모세가 정탐하라고 보냈던 사람들이 돌아와서, 모든 이스라엘 백성에게 불평을 퍼뜨렸습니다. 그들은 그 땅에 대해 나쁜 소식을 전했습니다.
(36) As for the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, and who returned and made all the congregation murmur and complain against him by bringing back a bad report concerning the land,
(37) orang-orang itu mati, kena tulah di hadapan TUHAN.
(37) 그 땅에 대해서 나쁜 소식을 전한 사람들은 여호와께서 내리신 끔찍한 병으로 말미암아 죽었습니다.
(37) even those [ten] men who brought back the very bad report of the land died by a plague before the LORD.
(38) Tetapi yang tinggal hidup dari orang-orang yang telah pergi mengintai negeri itu hanyalah Yosua bin Nun dan Kaleb bin Yefune.
(38) 오직 눈의 아들 여호수아와 여분네의 아들 갈렙만이 죽지 않았습니다.
(38) But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh remained alive out of those men who went to spy out the land.
14:39-45 = Serangan ke bagian selatan gagal
(39) Setelah Musa menyampaikan perkataan ini kepada semua orang Israel, maka berkabunglah bangsa itu dengan sangat.
(39) 모세가 이 모든 말씀을 백성에게 일러 주자, 백성은 매우 슬퍼했습니다.
(39) {Israel Repulsed}Moses spoke the Lord's words to all the Israelites, and the people mourned greatly.
(40) Dan keesokan harinya bangunlah mereka pagi-pagi hendak naik ke puncak gunung sambil berkata: "Sekarang kita hendak maju ke negeri yang difirmankan TUHAN itu; memang kita telah berbuat dosa."
(40) 이튿날 아침 일찍, 백성은 산악 지방 쪽으로 올라가면서 말했습니다. “우리가 죄를 지었다. 여호와께서 말씀하신 곳으로 가자.”
(40) They got up early in the morning and went up to the ridge of the hill country, saying, "Look, here we are; we have indeed sinned, but we will go up to the place which the LORD has promised."
(41) Tetapi kata Musa: "Mengapakah kamu hendak melanggar titah TUHAN? Hal itu tidak akan berhasil.
(41) 그러나 모세가 말했습니다. “왜 여호와의 명령에 복종하지 않소? 올라가도 이기지 못할 것이오.
(41) But Moses said, "Why then are you transgressing the commandment of the LORD, when it will not succeed?
(42) Janganlah maju, sebab TUHAN tidak ada di tengah-tengahmu, supaya jangan kamu dikalahkan oleh musuhmu,
(42) 가지 마시오. 여호와께서 여러분과 함께 계시지 않소. 여러분은 원수들에게 질 것이오.
(42) Do not go up, or you will be struck down before your enemies, for the LORD is not among you.
(43) sebab orang Amalek dan orang Kanaan ada di sana di depanmu dan kamu akan tewas oleh pedang; dari sebab kamu berbalik membelakangi TUHAN, maka TUHAN tidak akan menyertai kamu."
(43) 아말렉 사람과 가나안 사람이 여러분을 가로막고, 여러분을 칼로 죽일 것이오. 여러분은 여호와의 말씀에 따르지 않았소. 여호와께서는 여러분과 함께 계시지 않을 것이오.”
(43) For the Amalekites and the Canaanites will be there in front of you, and you will fall by the sword, because you have turned away from following the LORD; therefore the LORD will not be with you."
(44) Meskipun demikian, mereka nekat naik ke puncak gunung itu, tetapi tabut perjanjian TUHAN dan Musa juga tidaklah meninggalkan tempat perkemahan.
(44) 그들은 아랑곳하지 않고 산악 지방 쪽으로 올라갔습니다. 그러나 모세와 여호와의 언약궤는 진을 떠나지 않았습니다.
(44) But [in their arrogance] they dared to go up to the ridge of the hill country; however, neither the ark of the covenant of the LORD nor Moses left the camp.
(45) Lalu turunlah orang Amalek dan orang Kanaan yang mendiami pegunungan itu dan menyerang mereka; kemudian orang-orang itu mencerai-beraikan mereka sampai ke Horma.
(45) 산악 지방에 사는 아말렉 사람과 가나안 사람이 내려와서 이스라엘 백성을 공격했습니다. 이스라엘 백성은 그들에게 져서 호르마까지 쫓겨났습니다.
(45) Then the Amalekites and the Canaanites who lived in that hill country came down and struck the Israelites and scattered them as far as Hormah.
