25:1-18 = Israel menyembah Baal-Peor
(1) Sementara Israel tinggal di Sitim, mulailah bangsa itu berzinah dengan perempuan-perempuan Moab.
(1) 이스라엘 백성이 싯딤에 진을 치고 있을 때였습니다. 이스라엘 백성이 모압 여자들과 성관계를 맺음으로 죄를 짓기 시작했습니다.
(1) {The Sin of Peor}Israel settled and remained in Shittim, and the people began to play the prostitute with the women of Moab [by being unfaithful to God].
(2) Perempuan-perempuan ini mengajak bangsa itu ke korban sembelihan bagi allah mereka, lalu bangsa itu turut makan dari korban itu dan menyembah allah orang-orang itu.
(2) 모압 여자들이 거짓 신들을 섬기는 제사에 이스라엘 백성을 초대했습니다. 그래서 이스라엘 백성은 거기에서 음식을 먹으며, 그 신들에게 예배했습니다.
(2) For they invited the Israelites to the sacrifices of their gods, and the Israelites ate [food offered to idols] and bowed down to Moab's gods.
(3) Ketika Israel berpasangan dengan Baal-Peor, bangkitlah murka TUHAN terhadap Israel;
(3) 이처럼 이스라엘 백성이 바알브올을 예배하기 시작했습니다. 그래서 여호와께서 이스라엘 백성에게 크게 노하셨습니다.
(3) So Israel joined themselves to Baal of Peor [in worship]. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.
(4) lalu berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa: "Tangkaplah semua orang yang mengepalai bangsa itu dan gantunglah mereka di hadapan TUHAN di tempat terang, supaya murka TUHAN yang bernyala-nyala itu surut dari pada Israel."
(4) 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다. “백성의 지도자들을 불러 모아라. 그리고 그들을 여호와 앞에서 대낮에 죽여라. 그래야 여호와께서 이스라엘 백성에게 노하지 않으실 것이다.”
(4) The LORD said to Moses, "Take all the leaders of the people [who have committed sin with the Moabites], and execute them in broad daylight before the LORD, so that the fierce anger of the LORD may turn away from Israel."
(5) Lalu berkatalah Musa kepada hakim-hakim Israel: "Baiklah masing-masing kamu membunuh orang-orangnya yang telah berpasangan dengan Baal-Peor."
(5) 모세가 이스라엘의 재판관들에게 말했습니다. “그대들 각 사람은 바알브올에게 예배한 사람들을 잡아 죽이시오.”
(5) So Moses said to the judges of Israel, "Each one of you must kill his men who have joined themselves to Baal of Peor [in worship]."
(6) Kebetulan datanglah salah seorang Israel membawa seorang perempuan Midian kepada sanak saudaranya dengan dilihat Musa dan segenap umat Israel yang sedang bertangis-tangisan di depan pintu Kemah Pertemuan.
(6) 이스라엘 백성은 회막 입구에 모여서 울부짖었습니다. 그 때에 어떤 이스라엘 사람이 한 미디안 여자를 자기 집으로 데리고 들어갔습니다. 모세와 이스라엘 모든 무리가 그 모습을 보았습니다.
(6) Then one of the Israelites came and presented to his relatives a Midianite woman, in the sight of Moses and the whole congregation of the Israelites, while they were weeping [over God's judgment] at the doorway of the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle).
(7) Ketika hal itu dilihat oleh Pinehas, anak Eleazar, anak imam Harun, bangunlah ia dari tengah-tengah umat itu dan mengambil sebuah tombak di tangannya,
(7) 엘르아살의 아들이며, 아론의 손자인 비느하스도 그 모습을 보고 자리에서 일어나 무리를 떠났습니다. 그는 손에 창을 들었습니다.
(7) When Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw this, he left the congregation and took a spear in his hand,
(8) mengejar orang Israel itu sampai ke ruang tengah, dan menikam mereka berdua, yakni orang Israel dan perempuan itu, pada perutnya. Maka berhentilah tulah itu menimpa orang Israel.
(8) 그는 그 이스라엘 사람의 뒤를 쫓아 장막까지 따라 들어갔습니다. 그리고 창으로 이스라엘 남자와 미디안 여자를 찔렀습니다. 그러자 이스라엘 백성 가운데 있었던 끔찍한 병이 멈추었습니다.
(8) and he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and pierced both of them through the body, the man of Israel and the woman. Then the plague on the Israelites stopped.
(9) Orang yang mati karena tulah itu ada dua puluh empat ribu orang banyaknya.
(9) 그 병으로 죽은 백성은 모두 이만 사천 명이었습니다.
(9) Nevertheless, those [Israelites] who died in the plague numbered 24,000.
(10) TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
(10) 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다.
(10) {The Zeal of Phinehas}Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
(11) Pinehas, anak Eleazar, anak imam Harun, telah menyurutkan murka-Ku dari pada orang Israel, oleh karena ia begitu giat membela kehormatan-Ku di tengah-tengah mereka, sehingga tidaklah Kuhabisi orang Israel dalam cemburu-Ku.
(11) “엘르아살의 아들이며, 아론의 손자인 비느하스가 나의 분노로부터 이스라엘 백성을 구해 냈도다. 비느하스는 타오르던 나의 분노를 달랬도다. 그러므로 나는 백성을 죽이지 않을 것이다.
(11) "Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned my wrath away from the Israelites because he was jealous with My jealousy among them, so that I did not destroy the Israelites in My jealousy.
(12) Sebab itu katakanlah: Sesungguhnya Aku berikan kepadanya perjanjian keselamatan yang dari pada-Ku
(12) 그리고 비느하스에게 내가 나의 평화의 언약을 그와 맺겠다고 일러라.
(12) Therefore say, 'Behold, I give to Phinehas My covenant of peace.
(13) untuk menjadi perjanjian mengenai keimaman selama-lamanya bagi dia dan bagi keturunannya, karena ia telah begitu giat membela Allahnya dan telah mengadakan pendamaian bagi orang Israel."
(13) 비느하스와 그의 모든 자손에게 영원한 언약을 주어, 그들이 영원히 제사장이 되게 할 것이다. 그가 자기 하나님을 위해 분노했기 때문이다. 그리하여 그는 이스라엘 백성의 죄를 가리워 주었다.”
(13) And it shall be for him and his descendants after him, a covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was jealous (impassioned) for [the unique honor and respect owed to] his God and made atonement for the sons of Israel.'"
(14) Nama orang Israel yang mati terbunuh bersama-sama dengan perempuan Midian itu ialah Zimri bin Salu, pemimpin salah satu puak orang Simeon,
(14) 미디안 여자와 함께 죽임을 당한 이스라엘 사람의 이름은 살루의 아들 시므리입니다. 시므리는 시므온 지파에 속한 한 집안의 어른입니다.
(14) Now the name of the man of Israel who was killed with the Midianite woman was Zimri the son of Salu, a leader of a father's household among the Simeonites.
(15) dan nama perempuan Midian yang mati terbunuh itu ialah Kozbi binti Zur; Zur itu adalah seorang kepala kaum--yaitu puak--di Midian.
(15) 그리고 죽임을 당한 미디안 여자의 이름은 수르의 딸 고스비입니다. 수르는 미디안에 속한 한 집안의 우두머리입니다.
(15) The name of the Midianite woman who was killed was Cozbi the daughter of Zur, who was the tribal head of a father's household in Midian.
(16) Kemudian berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa:
(16) 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다.
(16) Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
(17) Lawanlah orang Midian itu, dan tewaskanlah mereka,
(17) “미디안 백성을 대적하여라. 그리고 그들을 죽여라.
(17) "Provoke hostilities with the Midianites and attack them,
(18) sebab mereka telah melawan kamu dengan daya upaya yang dirancang mereka terhadap kamu dalam hal Peor dan dalam hal Kozbi, saudara mereka, yakni anak perempuan seorang pemimpin Midian; Kozbi itu mati terbunuh pada waktu turunnya tulah karena Peor itu."
(18) 그들은 브올에서 너희를 속였고, 미디안의 한 우두머리의 딸인 고스비의 일로 너희를 괴롭혔도다. 고스비는 이스라엘 백성이 브올에서 지은 죄로 말미암아 병이 퍼졌을 때 창에 찔려 죽은 여자이다.”
(18) for they harass you with their tricks, the tricks with which they have deceived you in the matter [of the Baal] of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of the leader of Midian, their sister, who was killed on the day of the plague because [of the Baal] of Peor."
