35:1-8 = Kota-kota orang Lewi
(1) TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa di dataran Moab di tepi sungai Yordan di dekat Yerikho:
(1) 여호와께서 요단 강가의 모압 평야, 곧 여리고 건너편에서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다.
(1) {Cities for the Levites}Then the LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan [across from] Jericho, saying,
(2) Perintahkanlah kepada orang Israel, supaya dari milik pusaka kepunyaannya diberikan mereka kota-kota kepada orang Lewi untuk didiami; juga haruslah kamu memberikan kepada orang Lewi tanah-tanah penggembalaan yang di sekeliling kota-kota itu.
(2) “이스라엘 백성에게 명령하여, 그들이 받을 성 가운데서 레위 사람이 살 성을 주게 하여라. 그리고 레위 사람에게 그 성 둘레의 목초지도 주게 하여라.
(2) "Command the Israelites to give to the Levites cities to live in from the inheritance of their possession; and you shall give to the Levites pasture lands around the cities.
(3) Kota-kota itu akan menjadi kepunyaan mereka untuk didiami dan tanah-tanah penggembalaannya untuk hewan yang mereka miliki dan untuk segala ternak mereka yang lain.
(3) 그래야 레위 사람도 살 성을 얻게 될 것이며, 소 떼와 양 떼와 다른 짐승을 먹일 목초지를 갖게 될 것이다.
(3) The cities shall be theirs to live in; and their pasture lands shall be for their cattle and for their herds and for all their livestock.
(4) Tanah-tanah penggembalaan kota-kota yang harus kamu berikan kepada orang Lewi itu ialah dari tembok kota ke luar seribu hasta berkeliling.
(4) 레위 사람에게 줄 목초지는 성벽에서부터 이천 규빗 떨어진 곳까지이다.
(4) "The pasture lands around the cities which you shall give to the Levites shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits (1,500 ft.) around.
(5) Di luar kota itu haruslah kamu mengukur dua ribu hasta di sisi timur dan dua ribu hasta di sisi selatan dan dua ribu hasta di sisi barat dan dua ribu hasta di sisi utara, sehingga kota itu berada di tengah-tengah; itulah bagi mereka tanah-tanah penggembalaan kota-kota.
(5) 또 성 벽에서부터 각 방향으로 이천 규빗씩을 재어라. 성의 동쪽으로 이천 규빗을 재고, 성의 남쪽으로도 이천 규빗을 재고, 성의 서쪽으로도 이천 규빗을 재고, 성의 북쪽으로도 이천 규빗을 재어라. 성은 그 한가운데에 있어야 한다. 이것이 레위 사람들이 사는 성의 목초지이다.”
(5) You shall also measure outside the city on the east, south, west, and north sides two thousand cubits (3,000 ft.), with the city in the center. This shall belong to the Levites as pasture lands for the cities.
(6) Mengenai kota-kota yang harus kamu berikan kepada orang Lewi itu, ialah enam kota perlindungan yang harus kamu berikan, supaya orang pembunuh dapat melarikan diri ke sana; di samping itu haruslah kamu memberikan empat puluh dua kota.
(6) “너희가 레위 사람에게 줄 성 가운데 여섯 성은 도피성이다. 누구든지 실수로 살인을 한 사람은 그 도피성 가운데 한 곳으로 도망갈 수 있다. 너희는 또 다른 성 마흔두 곳을 레위 사람에게 주어야 한다.
(6) {Cities of Refuge}[Among] the cities which you give to the Levites shall be the six cities of refuge, which you shall provide for the one who commits manslaughter to flee to; and in addition to them you shall give forty-two cities [to the Levites].
(7) Segala kota yang harus kamu berikan kepada orang Lewi itu berjumlah empat puluh delapan kota, semuanya dengan tanah-tanah penggembalaannya.
(7) 레위 사람에게 모두 마흔여덟 성과 그 목초지를 주어라.
(7) So you shall give to the Levites forty-eight cities in all, together with their pasture lands.
(8) Mengenai kota-kota yang akan kamu berikan dari tanah milik orang Israel, dari suku yang banyak jumlahnya haruslah kamu ambil banyak, dan dari suku yang sedikit jumlahnya haruslah kamu ambil sedikit. Setiap suku harus memberikan dari kota-kotanya kepada orang Lewi sekadar milik pusaka yang dibagikan kepadanya."
(8) 이스라엘 지파 가운데서 큰 지파일수록 성을 더 많이 주고, 작은 지파일수록 적게 주어야 한다. 각 지파는 가지고 있는 성 가운데 얼마를 레위 사람에게 주어야 한다. 각 지파는 가지고 있는 땅의 크기에 따라 성을 많이 주거나 적게 주어야 한다.”
(8) As for the cities which you shall give from the possession of the Israelites, from the larger tribes you shall take many and from the smaller tribes few; each tribe shall give [at least some] of its cities to the Levites in proportion to [the size of] its inheritance which it possesses."
35:9-34 = Kota-kota perlindungan
(9) TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
(9) 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다.
(9) Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
(10) Berbicaralah kepada orang Israel dan katakanlah kepada mereka: Apabila kamu menyeberangi sungai Yordan ke tanah Kanaan,
(10) “이스라엘 백성에게 전하여라. ‘너희는 요단 강을 건너 가나안 땅으로 들어갈 것이다.
(10) "Tell the Israelites, 'When you cross the Jordan [River] into the land of Canaan,
(11) maka haruslah kamu memilih beberapa kota yang menjadi kota-kota perlindungan bagimu, supaya orang pembunuh yang telah membunuh seseorang dengan tidak sengaja dapat melarikan diri ke sana.
(11) 너희는 여러 성 가운데서 도피성을 골라 누구든지 실수로 살인한 사람은 그 도피성으로 도망갈 수 있게 하여라.
(11) then you shall select for yourselves cities to be cities of refuge, so that the one who kills any person unintentionally may escape there.
(12) Kota-kota itu akan menjadi tempat perlindungan bagimu terhadap penuntut balas, supaya pembunuh jangan mati, sebelum ia dihadapkan kepada rapat umat untuk diadili.
(12) 그 곳에서 그는 살인자에게 벌을 줄 의무가 있는 죽은 사람의 친척의 복수를 피할 수 있다. 그는 재판정에서 재판을 받을 때까지는 죽임을 당하지 않을 것이다.
(12) The cities shall be to you as a refuge from the avenger, so that the one who has caused the death of another will not be killed until he has had a [fair] trial before the congregation.
(13) Dan kota-kota yang kamu tentukan itu haruslah enam buah kota perlindungan bagimu.
(13) 너희가 줄 성 가운데 여섯 성은 도피성이다.
(13) The cities which you are to provide shall be your six cities of refuge.
(14) Tiga kota harus kamu tentukan di seberang sungai Yordan sini dan tiga kota harus kamu tentukan di tanah Kanaan; semuanya kota-kota perlindungan.
(14) 요단 강 동쪽의 세 성과 가나안 지역의 세 성을 도피성으로 주어라.
(14) You shall provide three cities on this [east] side of the Jordan [River], and three [more] cities in the land of Canaan; they are to be the cities of refuge.
(15) Keenam kota itu haruslah menjadi tempat perlindungan bagi orang Israel dan bagi orang asing dan pendatang di tengah-tengahmu, supaya setiap orang yang telah membunuh seseorang dengan tidak sengaja dapat melarikan diri ke sana.
(15) 이 여섯 성은 이스라엘 자손을 위한 도피성이 될 것이다. 이 도피성들은 외국인과 무역하는 상인들에게도 해당되니, 누구든지 실수로 살인한 사람은 이 여섯 성 가운데 한 성으로 도망갈 수 있다.
(15) These six cities shall be a refuge for the Israelites and for the stranger and the resident alien among them; so that anyone who kills a person unintentionally may escape there.
(16) Tetapi jika ia membunuh orang itu dengan benda besi, sehingga orang itu mati, maka ia seorang pembunuh; pastilah pembunuh itu dibunuh.
(16) 쇠 무기를 가지고 사람을 죽인 사람은 모두 살인자니 그런 사람은 죽여야 한다.
(16) 'But if he struck his victim down [intentionally] with an iron object so that he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall certainly be put to death.
(17) Dan jika ia membunuh orang itu dengan batu di tangan yang mungkin menyebabkan matinya seseorang, sehingga orang itu mati, maka ia seorang pembunuh; pastilah pembunuh itu dibunuh.
(17) 사람을 죽일 만한 돌을 가지고 사람을 죽인 사람도 살인자이다. 그런 사람은 죽여야 한다.
(17) If he struck his victim down [intentionally] with a stone in hand, which may cause a person to die, and he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall certainly be put to death.
(18) Atau jika ia membunuh orang itu dengan benda kayu di tangan yang mungkin menyebabkan matinya seseorang, sehingga orang itu mati, maka ia seorang pembunuh; pastilah pembunuh itu dibunuh.
(18) 사람을 죽일 만한 나무 무기를 가지고 사람을 죽인 사람 역시 살인자이므로 그런 사람은 죽여야 한다.
(18) Or if he struck his victim down [intentionally] with a wooden object in hand, which may cause a person to die, and he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall certainly be put to death.
(19) Penuntut darahlah yang harus membunuh pembunuh itu; pada waktu bertemu dengan dia ia harus membunuh dia.
(19) 죽은 사람의 가장 가까운 친척은 살인자를 만나면 죽여야 한다.
(19) The blood avenger shall himself put the murderer to death; he shall put him to death when he meets him.
(20) Juga jika ia menumbuk orang itu karena benci atau melempar dia dengan sengaja, sehingga orang itu mati,
(20) 다른 사람을 미워해서 밀쳐 죽이거나, 숨어서 기다리고 있다가 무엇을 던져서 죽이거나,
(20) But if he pushed his victim out of hatred or threw something at him with malicious intent, and he died,
(21) atau jika ia memukul dia dengan tangannya karena perasaan permusuhan, sehingga orang itu mati, maka pastilah si pemukul itu dibunuh; ia seorang pembunuh; penuntut darah harus membunuh pembunuh itu, pada waktu bertemu dengan dia.
(21) 주먹으로 쳐서 죽이면 그는 살인자니, 그런 사람은 죽여야 한다. 죽은 사람의 가장 가까운 친척은 살인자를 만나면 죽여야 한다.
(21) or if, in enmity, he struck the victim down with his hand, and he died, the one that struck the victim shall certainly be put to death; he is a murderer. The blood avenger shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.
(22) Tetapi jika ia sekonyong-konyong menumbuk orang itu dengan tidak ada perasaan permusuhan, atau dengan tidak sengaja melemparkan sesuatu benda kepadanya,
(22) 그러나 미워하는 마음이 없이 실수로 사람을 밀치거나, 실수로 무엇을 던져서 사람을 맞히거나,
(22) 'But if he pushed the victim suddenly, not in enmity, or threw anything at him without malicious intent,
(23) atau dengan kurang ingat menjatuhkan kepada orang itu sesuatu batu yang mungkin menyebabkan matinya seseorang, sehingga orang itu mati, sedangkan dia tidak merasa bermusuh dengan orang itu dan juga tidak mengikhtiarkan celakanya,
(23) 사람을 죽일 만한 돌을 실수로 떨어뜨려서 사람을 죽였다면, 그 사람은 해칠 마음이 없었고, 자기가 죽인 사람을 미워하지도 않았으므로,
(23) or without seeing him hit him [accidentally] with a stone object that could kill him, and he died, and [the offender] was not his enemy nor intending to harm him,
(24) maka haruslah rapat umat mengadili antara orang yang membunuh itu dan penuntut darah, menurut hukum-hukum ini,
(24) 이스라엘의 모든 무리는 어떻게 할 것인가를 결정해야 한다. 그들은 죽은 사람의 친척과 살인자 사이에서 판단해야 한다. 판단할 때의 규례는 이러하다.
(24) then the congregation shall judge between the offender and the blood avenger according to these ordinances.
(25) dan haruslah rapat umat membebaskan pembunuh dari tangan penuntut darah, dan haruslah rapat umat mengembalikan dia ke kota perlindungan, ke tempat ia telah melarikan diri; di situlah ia harus tinggal sampai matinya imam besar yang telah diurapi dengan minyak yang kudus.
(25) 무리는 살인자를 죽은 사람의 친척에게서 보호해 주어야 한다. 무리는 살인자를 그가 도망갔던 도피성으로 돌려 보내야 한다. 그는 그 곳에서 거룩한 기름으로 기름 부음을 받은 대제사장이 죽을 때까지 머물러 있어야 한다.
(25) The congregation shall rescue the offender from the hand of the blood avenger and return him to his city of refuge, [the place] to which he had escaped; and he shall live there until the death of the high priest who was anointed with the sacred oil.
(26) Tetapi jika terjadi bahwa pembunuh itu keluar dari batas kota perlindungan, tempat ia melarikan diri,
(26) 그 사람은 도피성 밖으로 나가지 말아야 한다.
(26) But if at any time the one guilty of manslaughter comes outside the border of his city of refuge to which he fled,
(27) dan penuntut darah mendapat dia di luar batas kota perlindungannya, dan penuntut darah membunuh pembunuh itu, maka tidaklah ia berhutang darah,
(27) 죽은 사람의 친척이 도피성 밖에서 그를 만났을 경우에 그를 죽여도 그 친척은 살인죄에 해당되지 않는다.
(27) and the blood avenger finds him outside the border of his city of refuge and kills the offender, the blood avenger will not be guilty of murder,
(28) sebab pembunuh itu wajib tinggal di kota perlindungan sampai matinya imam besar, tetapi sesudah matinya imam besar bolehlah pembunuh itu kembali ke tanah kepunyaannya sendiri.
(28) 살인자는 대제사장이 죽을 때까지 도피성에 머물러 있어야 한다. 대제사장이 죽으면 그 때는 자기 땅으로 돌아갈 수 있다.
(28) because the offender should have remained in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest. But after the high priest's death the offender shall return to the land of his possession.
(29) Itulah semuanya yang harus menjadi ketetapan hukum bagimu turun-temurun di segala tempat kediamanmu.
(29) 이것은 너희가 사는 땅에서 지금부터 영원히 지켜야 할 규례이다.
(29) 'These things shall be a statute for you throughout your generations wherever you may be.
(30) Setiap orang yang telah membunuh seseorang haruslah dibunuh sebagai pembunuh menurut keterangan saksi-saksi, tetapi kalau hanya satu orang saksi saja tidak cukup untuk memberi keterangan terhadap seseorang dalam perkara hukuman mati.
(30) 살인자는 죽여야 한다. 그 때는 살인한 것을 본 증인이 있어야 한다. 그러나 단지 증인 한 사람이 증언한 것으로는 살인자를 죽일 수 없다.
(30) 'If anyone kills a person [intentionally], the murderer shall be put to death on the testimony of [two or more] witnesses; but no one shall be put to death on the testimony of [only] one witness.
(31) Janganlah kamu menerima uang tebusan karena nyawa seorang pembunuh yang kesalahannya setimpal dengan hukuman mati, tetapi pastilah ia dibunuh.
(31) 살인자는 죽여야 한다. 돈을 받고 그를 살려 주면 안 된다. 반드시 죽여야 한다.
(31) Moreover, you shall not accept a ransom [in exchange] for the life of a murderer guilty and sentenced to death; but he shall certainly be put to death.
(32) Juga janganlah kamu menerima uang tebusan karena seseorang yang telah melarikan diri ke kota perlindungannya, supaya ia boleh kembali untuk diam di tanahnya sebelum matinya imam besar.
(32) 대제사장이 죽기 전에 도피성으로 도망간 사람으로부터 돈을 받고, 그를 고향으로 돌려 보내면 안 된다.
(32) You shall not accept a ransom for him who has escaped to his city of refuge, so that he may return to live in his [own] land before the death of the high priest.
(33) Jadi janganlah kamu mencemarkan negeri tempat tinggalmu, sebab darah itulah yang mencemarkan negeri itu, maka bagi negeri itu tidak dapat diadakan pendamaian oleh karena darah yang tertumpah di sana, kecuali dengan darah orang yang telah menumpahkannya.
(33) 너희가 사는 땅을 더럽히면 안 된다. 죄 없는 사람을 죽인 죄를 씻는 길은 오직 한 가지뿐이다. 그것은 살인자를 죽이는 것이다.
(33) So you shall not pollute and defile the land in which you live; for [the shedding of innocent] blood pollutes and defiles the land. No atonement (expiation) can be made for the land for the [innocent] blood shed in it, except by the blood (execution) of him who shed it.
(34) Maka janganlah najiskan negeri tempat kedudukanmu, yang di tengah-tengahnya Aku diam, sebab Aku, TUHAN, diam di tengah-tengah orang Israel."
(34) 나는 여호와이다. 나는 이스라엘 백성인 너희와 함께 그 땅에서 산다. 그러므로 살인을 하여 그 땅을 더럽히지 마라.’”
(34) You shall not defile the land in which you live, in the midst of which I live, for I, the LORD, live among the people of Israel.'"
