1:1-3 = Salam
(1) Dari Paulus, yang oleh kehendak Allah dipanggil menjadi rasul Kristus Yesus, dan dari Sostenes, saudara kita,
(1) 하나님의 뜻에 따라 그리스도 예수의 사도로 부르심을 받은 나 바울과 형제 소스데네는
(1) {Appeal to Unity}Paul, called as an apostle (special messenger, personally chosen representative) of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,
(2) kepada jemaat Allah di Korintus, yaitu mereka yang dikuduskan dalam Kristus Yesus dan yang dipanggil menjadi orang-orang kudus, dengan semua orang di segala tempat, yang berseru kepada nama Tuhan kita Yesus Kristus, yaitu Tuhan mereka dan Tuhan kita.
(2) 고린도에 있는 하나님의 교회와 그리스도 예수 안에서 거룩하게 된 사람들에게 이 편지를 씁니다. 여러분은 방방곡곡에서 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름을 부르는 모든 사람들과 함께 거룩한 사람으로 부르심을 받았습니다. 예수 그리스도는 우리의 주님이시며 또한 이 모든 사람들의 주님이 되십니다.
(2) To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified (set apart, made holy) in Christ Jesus, who are selected and called as saints (God's people), together with all those who in every place call on and honor the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours:
(3) Kasih karunia dan damai sejahtera dari Allah, Bapa kita, dan dari Tuhan Yesus Kristus menyertai kamu.
(3) 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도께서 여러분에게 은혜와 평강을 주시기를 바랍니다.
(3) Grace to you and peace [inner calm and spiritual well-being] from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1:4-9 = Ucapan syukur
(4) Aku senantiasa mengucap syukur kepada Allahku karena kamu atas kasih karunia Allah yang dianugerahkan-Nya kepada kamu dalam Kristus Yesus.
(4) 그리스도 예수 안에서 여러분에게 주신 하나님의 은혜로 말미암아 나는 늘 하나님께 감사드립니다.
(4) I thank my God always for you because of the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus,
(5) Sebab di dalam Dia kamu telah menjadi kaya dalam segala hal: dalam segala macam perkataan dan segala macam pengetahuan,
(5) 여러분은 예수 그리스도 안에서 모든 말하는 것과 모든 지식 등 모든 면에서 풍성하게 되었습니다.
(5) so that in everything you were [exceedingly] enriched in Him, in all speech [empowered by the spiritual gifts] and in all knowledge [with insight into the faith].
(6) sesuai dengan kesaksian tentang Kristus, yang telah diteguhkan di antara kamu.
(6) 내가 이렇게 말씀드리는 것은 그리스도에 관하여 증언한 것이 여러분 안에서 확고해졌기 때문입니다.
(6) In this way our testimony about Christ was confirmed and established in you,
(7) Demikianlah kamu tidak kekurangan dalam suatu karuniapun sementara kamu menantikan penyataan Tuhan kita Yesus Kristus.
(7) 그러므로 여러분은 영적인 선물을 부족함 없이 받으며 우리 주 예수 그리스도께서 나타나실 것을 간절히 바라고 있습니다.
(7) so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift [which comes from the Holy Spirit], as you eagerly wait [with confident trust] for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ [when He returns].
(8) Ia juga akan meneguhkan kamu sampai kepada kesudahannya, sehingga kamu tak bercacat pada hari Tuhan kita Yesus Kristus.
(8) 예수님께서는 여러분을 세상 끝날까지 굳세게 지켜 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 날에 흠이 없는 사람이 되게 하실 것입니다.
(8) And He will also confirm you to the end [keeping you strong and free of any accusation, so that you will be] blameless and beyond reproach in the day [of the return] of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(9) Allah, yang memanggil kamu kepada persekutuan dengan Anak-Nya Yesus Kristus, Tuhan kita, adalah setia.
(9) 여러분을 부르셔서 그의 아들이신 우리 주 예수 그리스도와 사귐을 갖게 하신 하나님은 신실하십니다.
(9) God is faithful [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise—He can be depended on], and through Him you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1:10-17 = Perpecahan dalam jemaat
(10) Tetapi aku menasihatkan kamu, saudara-saudara, demi nama Tuhan kita Yesus Kristus, supaya kamu seia sekata dan jangan ada perpecahan di antara kamu, tetapi sebaliknya supaya kamu erat bersatu dan sehati sepikir.
(10) 성도 여러분, 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 여러분에게 호소합니다. 모두 의견을 합하고 여러분 사이에 편을 나누지 마십시오. 같은 마음과 같은 생각을 가지고 하나가 되십시오.
(10) But I urge you, believers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in full agreement in what you say, and that there be no divisions or factions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your way of thinking and in your judgment [about matters of the faith].
(11) Sebab, saudara-saudaraku, aku telah diberitahukan oleh orang-orang dari keluarga Kloe tentang kamu, bahwa ada perselisihan di antara kamu.
(11) 나의 성도 여러분, 글로에 집에서 온 사람들이 나에게 여러분 사이에 다툼이 있다는 소식을 전해 주었습니다.
(11) For I have been informed about you, my brothers and sisters, by those of Chloe's household, that there are quarrels and factions among you.
(12) Yang aku maksudkan ialah, bahwa kamu masing-masing berkata: Aku dari golongan Paulus. Atau aku dari golongan Apolos. Atau aku dari golongan Kefas. Atau aku dari golongan Kristus.
(12) 내용은 이렇습니다. 여러분이 저마다 “나는 바울을 따른다”, “나는 아볼로를 따른다”, “나는 베드로를 따른다”, 심지어 “나는 그리스도를 따른다”고 말한다니,
(12) Now I mean this, that each one of you says, "I am [a disciple] of Paul," or "I am [a disciple] of Apollos," or "I am [a disciple] of Cephas (Peter)," or "I am [a disciple] of Christ."
(13) Adakah Kristus terbagi-bagi? Adakah Paulus disalibkan karena kamu? Atau adakah kamu dibaptis dalam nama Paulus?
(13) 도대체 그리스도가 나뉘었습니까? 바울이 여러분을 위해 십자가에 못박혔습니까? 아니면 여러분이 바울의 이름으로 세례를 받았습니까?
(13) Has Christ been divided [into different parts]? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul? [Certainly not!]
(14) Aku mengucap syukur bahwa tidak ada seorangpun juga di antara kamu yang aku baptis selain Krispus dan Gayus,
(14) 내가 그리스보와 가이오 두 사람 외에는 여러분 중 어느 누구에게도 세례를 주지 않아 하나님께 감사합니다.
(14) I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius,
(15) sehingga tidak ada orang yang dapat mengatakan, bahwa kamu dibaptis dalam namaku.
(15) 그러므로 여러분 중에서 어느 누구도 바울의 이름으로 세례를 받았다고 말할 수 없을 것입니다.
(15) so that no one would say that you were baptized into my name.
(16) Juga keluarga Stefanus aku yang membaptisnya. Kecuali mereka aku tidak tahu, entahkah ada lagi orang yang aku baptis.
(16) 그러고 보니 내가 스데바나의 가정에도 세례를 준 적이 있습니다. 하지만 이들 외에는 아무에게도 세례를 준 기억이 없습니다.
(16) Now I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I do not know if I baptized anyone else.
(17) Sebab Kristus mengutus aku bukan untuk membaptis, tetapi untuk memberitakan Injil; dan itupun bukan dengan hikmat perkataan, supaya salib Kristus jangan menjadi sia-sia.
(17) 그리스도께서 나를 보내신 것은 세례를 주기 위해서가 아니라 복음을 전하도록 하기 위해서였습니다. 그것은 인간의 지혜로운 말로 하라는 것이 아니었습니다. 그리스도의 십자가가 그 능력을 잃지 않게 하려는 것입니다.
(17) For Christ did not send me [as an apostle] to baptize, but [commissioned and empowered me] to preach the good news [of salvation]—not with clever and eloquent speech [as an orator], so that the cross of Christ would not be made ineffective [deprived of its saving power].
1:18 - 2:5 = Hikmat Allah dan hikmat manusia
(18) Sebab pemberitaan tentang salib memang adalah kebodohan bagi mereka yang akan binasa, tetapi bagi kita yang diselamatkan pemberitaan itu adalah kekuatan Allah.
(18) 십자가에 관한 말씀이 멸망할 사람들에게는 어리석은 것에 불과하지만, 구원 받은 우리에게는 하나님의 능력입니다.
(18) {The Wisdom of God}For the message of the cross is foolishness [absurd and illogical] to those who are perishing and spiritually dead [because they reject it], but to us who are being saved [by God's grace] it is [the manifestation of] the power of God.
(19) Karena ada tertulis: "Aku akan membinasakan hikmat orang-orang berhikmat dan kearifan orang-orang bijak akan Kulenyapkan."
(19) 성경에 이렇게 기록되어 있습니다. “내가 지혜로운 사람들의 지혜를 멸하고, 지식 있는 사람들의 지식을 물리치리라.”
(19) For it is written and forever remains written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise [the philosophy of the philosophers], And the cleverness of the clever [who do not know Me] I will nullify."
(20) Di manakah orang yang berhikmat? Di manakah ahli Taurat? Di manakah pembantah dari dunia ini? Bukankah Allah telah membuat hikmat dunia ini menjadi kebodohan?
(20) 지혜 있는 사람이 어디 있으며, 학자가 어디 있습니까? 이 시대의 변론가가 어디 있습니까? 하나님께서 이 세상의 지혜를 어리석게 하지 않으셨습니까?
(20) Where is the wise man (philosopher)? Where is the scribe (scholar)? Where is the debater (logician, orator) of this age? Has God not exposed the foolishness of this world's wisdom?
(21) Oleh karena dunia, dalam hikmat Allah, tidak mengenal Allah oleh hikmatnya, maka Allah berkenan menyelamatkan mereka yang percaya oleh kebodohan pemberitaan Injil.
(21) 세상이 자기의 지혜를 통해서는 하나님을 알지 못하게 하신 것이 하나님의 지혜입니다. 그래서 하나님께서는 우리가 전하는 어리석어 보이는 말씀 선포로 믿는 사람들을 구원하기를 기뻐하셨습니다.
(21) For since the world through all its [earthly] wisdom failed to recognize God, God in His wisdom was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached [regarding salvation] to save those who believe [in Christ and welcome Him as Savior].
(22) Orang-orang Yahudi menghendaki tanda dan orang-orang Yunani mencari hikmat,
(22) 유대인들은 표적을 요구하고, 그리스인들은 지혜를 찾습니다.
(22) For Jews demand signs (attesting miracles), and Greeks pursue [worldly] wisdom and philosophy,
(23) tetapi kami memberitakan Kristus yang disalibkan: untuk orang-orang Yahudi suatu batu sandungan dan untuk orang-orang bukan Yahudi suatu kebodohan,
(23) 하지만 우리는 그리스도께서 십자가에 못박히셨다고 전합니다. 이것이 유대인들에게는 걸려 넘어지게 하는 것이요, 이방인들에게는 어리석은 것이지만,
(23) but we preach Christ crucified, [a message which is] to Jews a stumbling block [that provokes their opposition], and to Gentiles foolishness [just utter nonsense],
(24) tetapi untuk mereka yang dipanggil, baik orang Yahudi, maupun orang bukan Yahudi, Kristus adalah kekuatan Allah dan hikmat Allah.
(24) 유대인이 되었든지 그리스인이 되었든지 부르심을 받은 사람들에게 그리스도는 하나님의 능력이며 하나님의 지혜입니다.
(24) but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks (Gentiles), Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
(25) Sebab yang bodoh dari Allah lebih besar hikmatnya dari pada manusia dan yang lemah dari Allah lebih kuat dari pada manusia.
(25) 하나님의 어리석음이 사람의 지혜보다 더 지혜로우며, 하나님의 약함이 사람의 강함보다 더 강합니다.
(25) [This is] because the foolishness of God [is not foolishness at all and] is wiser than men [far beyond human comprehension], and the weakness of God is stronger than men [far beyond the limits of human effort].
(26) Ingat saja, saudara-saudara, bagaimana keadaan kamu, ketika kamu dipanggil: menurut ukuran manusia tidak banyak orang yang bijak, tidak banyak orang yang berpengaruh, tidak banyak orang yang terpandang.
(26) 성도 여러분, 하나님께서 여러분을 부르셨을 당시, 여러분의 모습이 어떠했는지를 생각해 보십시오. 세상의 표준으로 볼 때 지혜 있는 사람이 많지 않았고, 권력 있는 사람도 많지 않았으며, 가문 좋은 사람도 많지 않았습니다.
(26) Just look at your own calling, believers; not many [of you were considered] wise according to human standards, not many powerful or influential, not many of high and noble birth.
(27) Tetapi apa yang bodoh bagi dunia, dipilih Allah untuk memalukan orang-orang yang berhikmat, dan apa yang lemah bagi dunia, dipilih Allah untuk memalukan apa yang kuat,
(27) 그러나 하나님께서는 지혜로운 것들을 부끄럽게 하시려고 세상의 미련한 것들을 선택하셨고, 강한 것들을 부끄럽게 하시려고 세상의 약한 것들을 선택하셨습니다.
(27) But God has selected [for His purpose] the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [revealing their ignorance], and God has selected [for His purpose] the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong [revealing their frailty].
(28) dan apa yang tidak terpandang dan yang hina bagi dunia, dipilih Allah, bahkan apa yang tidak berarti, dipilih Allah untuk meniadakan apa yang berarti,
(28) 하나님께서는 세상의 비천한 것들과 멸시받는 것, 그리고 아무것도 아닌 것들을 선택하여 유력한 것들을 멸하셨습니다.
(28) God has selected [for His purpose] the insignificant (base) things of the world, and the things that are despised and treated with contempt, [even] the things that are nothing, so that He might reduce to nothing the things that are,
(29) supaya jangan ada seorang manusiapun yang memegahkan diri di hadapan Allah.
(29) 이것은 하나님 앞에서 어느 누구도 자랑하지 못하게 하기 위해서였습니다.
(29) so that no one may [be able to] boast in the presence of God.
(30) Tetapi oleh Dia kamu berada dalam Kristus Yesus, yang oleh Allah telah menjadi hikmat bagi kita. Ia membenarkan dan menguduskan dan menebus kita.
(30) 그러나 여러분은 이러한 하나님에게서 나서 예수 그리스도 안에 있게 되었습니다. 예수님은 하나님께로부터 오는 우리의 지혜와 의와 거룩함과 구속이 되셨습니다.
(30) But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God [revealing His plan of salvation], and righteousness [making us acceptable to God], and sanctification [making us holy and setting us apart for God], and redemption [providing our ransom from the penalty for sin],
(31) Karena itu seperti ada tertulis: "Barangsiapa yang bermegah, hendaklah ia bermegah di dalam Tuhan."
(31) 그러므로 성경에 기록되었듯이 “자랑하는 자는 주님 안에서 자랑하십시오.”
(31) so then, as it is written [in Scripture], "He who boasts and glories, let him boast and glory in the Lord."
