10:1-11 = Sikap Paulus
(1) Aku, Paulus, seorang yang tidak berani bila berhadapan muka dengan kamu, tetapi berani terhadap kamu bila berjauhan, aku memperingatkan kamu demi Kristus yang lemah lembut dan ramah.
(1) 나 바울은 그리스도의 온유함과 너그러움을 의지하여 여러분에게 권합니다. 나는 여러분과 얼굴을 맞대고 있으면 유순하다가도, 여러분을 떠나 멀리 가 있으면 담대해집니다.
(1) {Paul Describes Himself}Now I, Paul, urge you by the gentleness and graciousness of Christ—I who am meek [so they say] when with you face to face, but bold [outspoken and fearless] toward you when absent!
(2) Aku meminta kepada kamu: jangan kamu memaksa aku untuk menunjukkan keberanianku dari dekat, sebagaimana aku berniat bertindak keras terhadap orang-orang tertentu yang menyangka, bahwa kami hidup secara duniawi.
(2) 여러분에게 부탁합니다. 내가 여러분에게 갈 때에 우리를 보고 세상의 표준대로 산다고 헐뜯는 사람들에 대해 강경하게 대하듯이, 여러분에게 내가 그렇게 대하지 않도록 해 주십시오.
(2) I ask that when I do come I will not be driven to the boldness that I intend to show toward those few who regard us as if we walked according to the flesh [like men without the Spirit].
(3) Memang kami masih hidup di dunia, tetapi kami tidak berjuang secara duniawi,
(3) 우리가 이 세상에 살기는 하지만, 세상이 싸우는 것과 같은 싸움은 하지 않습니다.
(3) For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man.
(4) karena senjata kami dalam perjuangan bukanlah senjata duniawi, melainkan senjata yang diperlengkapi dengan kuasa Allah, yang sanggup untuk meruntuhkan benteng-benteng.
(4) 우리의 무기는 세상의 무기가 아니라, 강한 요새라도 파괴하는 하나님의 능력입니다. 우리는 모든 이론들을 파괴하고,
(4) The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.
(5) Kami mematahkan setiap siasat orang dan merubuhkan setiap kubu yang dibangun oleh keangkuhan manusia untuk menentang pengenalan akan Allah. Kami menawan segala pikiran dan menaklukkannya kepada Kristus,
(5) 하나님을 아는 지식에 대항하는 온갖 교만한 생각들을 물리쳐, 모든 생각들을 사로잡아 그리스도께 복종시킵니다.
(5) We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,
(6) dan kami siap sedia juga untuk menghukum setiap kedurhakaan, bila ketaatan kamu telah menjadi sempurna.
(6) 우리는 복종하지 않는 모든 행위들을 벌할 준비가 되어 있습니다. 그 때가 되면, 여러분은 온전히 순종하게 될 것입니다.
(6) being ready to punish every act of disobedience, when your own obedience [as a church] is complete.
(7) Tengoklah yang nyata di depan mata kamu! Kalau ada seorang benar-benar yakin, bahwa ia adalah milik Kristus, hendaklah ia berpikir di dalam hatinya, bahwa kami juga adalah milik Kristus sama seperti dia.
(7) 여러분은 사물의 겉모습만 보고 있습니다. 누구든지 자기가 그리스도께 속한 사람이라고 생각하는 사람이 있다면, 그 사람은 자기가 그리스도께 속한 것처럼, 우리도 그리스도께 속한 사람이라는 사실을 다시 한 번 생각해 보아야 합니다.
(7) You are looking [only] at the outward appearance of things. If anyone is confident that he is Christ's, he should reflect and consider this, that just as he is Christ's, so too are we.
(8) Bahkan, jikalau aku agak berlebih-lebihan bermegah atas kuasa, yang dikaruniakan Tuhan kepada kami untuk membangun dan bukan untuk meruntuhkan kamu, maka dalam hal itu aku tidak akan mendapat malu.
(8) 주님께서 우리에게 주신 권세는 여러분을 넘어뜨리라고 준 것이 아니라 덕을 세우라고 주신 것이므로, 내가 이에 대해 지나치게 자랑한다고 하더라도 부끄러울 것이 전혀 없습니다.
(8) For even though I boast rather freely about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be ashamed [of the truth],
(9) Tetapi aku tidak mau kelihatan seolah-olah aku menakut-nakuti kamu dengan surat-suratku.
(9) 내가 편지를 보내 여러분을 겁 주려 한다고 생각하지는 마십시오.
(9) nor do I want to seem to be trying to frighten you with my letters;
(10) Sebab, kata orang, surat-suratnya memang tegas dan keras, tetapi bila berhadapan muka sikapnya lemah dan perkataan-perkataannya tidak berarti.
(10) 여러분 중에는 “바울의 편지에는 무게가 있고 힘이 있는데, 그 사람을 직접 대해 보면 약골이고 말재주도 없다”고 말하는 사람들이 있습니다.
(10) for they say, "His letters are weighty and forceful and impressive, but his personal presence is unimpressive and his speech contemptible [of no account]."
(11) Tetapi hendaklah orang-orang yang berkata demikian menginsafi, bahwa tindakan kami, bila berhadapan muka, sama seperti perkataan kami dalam surat-surat kami, bila tidak berhadapan muka.
(11) 이런 사람들은 우리가 떠나 있어 편지로 쓰는 우리의 말이나 함께 있을 때 행하는 우리의 행동이 아무런 차이가 없다는 것을 명심해야 합니다.
(11) Let such people realize that what we say by word in letters when we are absent, is the same as what we are in action when present.
10:12 - 11:6 = Pendapat Paulus tentang dirinya
(12) Memang kami tidak berani menggolongkan diri kepada atau membandingkan diri dengan orang-orang tertentu yang memujikan diri sendiri. Mereka mengukur dirinya dengan ukuran mereka sendiri dan membandingkan dirinya dengan diri mereka sendiri. Alangkah bodohnya mereka!
(12) 우리는 스스로를 칭찬하는 사람들로 비춰지거나 그런 사람들과 비교될 생각이 조금도 없습니다. 그런 사람들은 자기들이 만든 표준에다 자신들을 재거나 비교하는데, 이는 그들이 지혜가 없다는 것을 드러내는 것입니다.
(12) We do not have the audacity to put ourselves in the same class or compare ourselves with some who [supply testimonials to] commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they lack wisdom and behave like fools.
(13) Sebaliknya kami tidak mau bermegah melampaui batas, melainkan tetap di dalam batas-batas daerah kerja yang dipatok Allah bagi kami, yang meluas sampai kepada kamu juga.
(13) 그러나 우리는 정해진 한계를 넘어서는 자랑을 하지 않고, 하나님께서 맡겨 주신 영역 안에서만 자랑합니다. 이 한계가 여러분에게까지 미쳤습니다.
(13) We, on the other hand, will not boast beyond our proper limit, but [will keep] within the limits of our commission (territory, authority) which God has granted to us as a measure, which reaches and includes even you.
(14) Sebab dalam memberitakan Injil Kristus kami telah sampai kepada kamu, sehingga kami tidak melewati batas daerah kerja kami, seolah-olah kami belum sampai kepada kamu.
(14) 그러니 우리는 하나님께서 정해 주신 한계를 넘어서 여러분에게 간 것이 아닙니다. 우리는 여러분에게 가지 못할 사람이 아닙니다. 우리는 그리스도의 복음을 가지고 여러분이 있는 곳까지 간 것입니다.
(14) We are not overstepping the limits of our province, as if we did not [legitimately] reach to you, for we were the [very] first to come even as far as you with the good news of Christ.
(15) Kami tidak bermegah atas pekerjaan yang dilakukan oleh orang lain di daerah kerja yang tidak dipatok untuk kami. Tetapi kami berharap, bahwa apabila imanmu makin bertumbuh, kami akan mendapat penghormatan lebih besar lagi di antara kamu, jika dibandingkan dengan daerah kerja yang dipatok untuk kami.
(15) 우리는 우리의 한계를 넘어서서 다른 사람들이 수고한 것을 이용하여 자랑하지 않습니다. 우리에게 바라는 것이 있다면, 여러분의 믿음이 자라감에 따라 우리의 활동 범위도 여러분 가운데서 크게 확장되는 것입니다.
(15) We do not go beyond our proper limit, boasting in the work of other men, but we have the hope that as your faith [in Christ and His divine power] continues to grow, our field among you may be greatly expanded [but still within the limits of our commission],
(16) Ya, kami hidup, supaya kami dapat memberitakan Injil di daerah-daerah yang lebih jauh dari pada daerah kamu dan tidak bermegah atas hasil-hasil yang dicapai orang lain di daerah kerja yang dipatok untuk mereka.
(16) 그렇게 되면, 우리는 여러분이 있는 지역을 넘어서 복음을 전할 수 있을 것입니다. 우리는 다른 사람이 자기 지역에서 이미 이루어 놓은 일을 가지고 자랑하고 싶지 않습니다.
(16) so that we may preach the gospel even in the lands beyond you, but not to boast in work already accomplished in another one's field of activity.
(17) Tetapi barangsiapa bermegah, hendaklah ia bermegah di dalam Tuhan.
(17) 오히려 “자랑하는 자는 주님 안에서 자랑해야 합니다.”
(17) However, "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."
(18) Sebab bukan orang yang memuji diri yang tahan uji, melainkan orang yang dipuji Tuhan.
(18) 옳다고 인정받는 사람은 스스로 자신을 칭찬하는 사람이 아니라 주님께서 칭찬하시는 사람입니다.
(18) For it is not he who commends and praises himself who is approved [by God], but it is the one whom the Lord commends and praises.
