2:1-13 = Panggilan untuk ikut menderita
(1) Sebab itu, hai anakku, jadilah kuat oleh kasih karunia dalam Kristus Yesus.
(1) 나의 사랑하는 아들 디모데여, 예수 그리스도의 은혜로 인해 강하고 담대하십시오.
(1) {Be Strong}So you, my son, be strong [constantly strengthened] and empowered in the grace that is [to be found only] in Christ Jesus.
(2) Apa yang telah engkau dengar dari padaku di depan banyak saksi, percayakanlah itu kepada orang-orang yang dapat dipercayai, yang juga cakap mengajar orang lain.
(2) 내게서 들은 가르침을 충성된 사람들에게 가르치십시오. 그러면 그들이 또다시 다른 사람에게 말씀을 가르칠 것입니다.
(2) The things [the doctrine, the precepts, the admonitions, the sum of my ministry] which you have heard me teach in the presence of many witnesses, entrust [as a treasure] to reliable and faithful men who will also be capable and qualified to teach others.
(3) Ikutlah menderita sebagai seorang prajurit yang baik dari Kristus Yesus.
(3) 예수 그리스도의 훌륭한 군사답게 지금 우리가 받는 고난을 함께 겪으십시오.
(3) Take with me your share of hardship [passing through the difficulties which you are called to endure], like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
(4) Seorang prajurit yang sedang berjuang tidak memusingkan dirinya dengan soal-soal penghidupannya, supaya dengan demikian ia berkenan kepada komandannya.
(4) 군사는 자신의 지휘관을 따라 그를 기쁘게 해야 하기 때문에 이 세상의 작은 일에는 신경을 쓸 수가 없습니다.
(4) No soldier in active service gets entangled in the [ordinary business] affairs of civilian life; [he avoids them] so that he may please the one who enlisted him to serve.
(5) Seorang olahragawan hanya dapat memperoleh mahkota sebagai juara, apabila ia bertanding menurut peraturan-peraturan olahraga.
(5) 경기하는 사람이 규칙을 어기면 상을 받을 수가 없습니다.
(5) And if anyone competes as an athlete [in competitive games], he is not crowned [with the wreath of victory] unless he competes according to the rules.
(6) Seorang petani yang bekerja keras haruslah yang pertama menikmati hasil usahanya.
(6) 열심히 일한 농부가 첫 번째로 수확되는 곡식을 먼저 얻는 것이 당연합니다.
(6) The hard-working farmer [who labors to produce crops] ought to be the first to receive his share of the crops.
(7) Perhatikanlah apa yang kukatakan; Tuhan akan memberi kepadamu pengertian dalam segala sesuatu.
(7) 내가 말하는 것을 귀담아 들으십시오. 주님께서 이 모든 것을 이해할 수 있는 지혜를 주실 것입니다.
(7) Think over the things I am saying [grasp their application], for the Lord will grant you insight and understanding in everything.
(8) Ingatlah ini: Yesus Kristus, yang telah bangkit dari antara orang mati, yang telah dilahirkan sebagai keturunan Daud, itulah yang kuberitakan dalam Injilku.
(8) 예수 그리스도를 깊이 묵상하십시오. 그분은 다윗의 후손으로 태어나시고, 죽은 자 가운데서 부활하셨습니다. 내가 전하는 말씀이 바로 이것이며
(8) Remember Jesus Christ [the ever-living Lord who has] risen from the dead, [as the prophesied King] descended from David [king of Israel], according to my gospel [the good news that I preach],
(9) Karena pemberitaan Injil inilah aku menderita, malah dibelenggu seperti seorang penjahat, tetapi firman Allah tidak terbelenggu.
(9) 이 복음 때문에 내가 고난을 받는 것입니다. 나는 비록 죄인처럼 쇠사슬에 매여 있지만, 하나님의 말씀은 결코 묶일 수 없습니다.
(9) for that [gospel] I am suffering even to [the point of] wearing chains like a criminal; but the word of God is not chained or imprisoned!
(10) Karena itu aku sabar menanggung semuanya itu bagi orang-orang pilihan Allah, supaya mereka juga mendapat keselamatan dalam Kristus Yesus dengan kemuliaan yang kekal.
(10) 그러므로 나는 이 모든 괴로움을 기쁘게 참을 수 있습니다. 하나님께서 선택하신 사람에게는 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 구원을 베푸시고, 영원한 영광도 함께 주실 것입니다.
(10) For this reason I [am ready to] patiently endure all things for the sake of those who are the elect (God's chosen ones), so that they too may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it the reward of eternal glory.
(11) Benarlah perkataan ini: "Jika kita mati dengan Dia, kitapun akan hidup dengan Dia;
(11) 진리의 말씀이 여기 있습니다. 우리가 주님과 함께 죽으면, 주님과 함께 다시 살아나게 될 것입니다.
(11) This is a faithful and trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him;
(12) jika kita bertekun, kitapun akan ikut memerintah dengan Dia; jika kita menyangkal Dia, Diapun akan menyangkal kita;
(12) 우리가 계속 참으면, 주님과 함께 왕노릇 할 것입니다. 우리가 주님을 모른다고 하면, 주님 역시 우리를 모른다고 하실 것입니다.
(12) If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He will also deny us;
(13) jika kita tidak setia, Dia tetap setia, karena Dia tidak dapat menyangkal diri-Nya."
(13) 그러나 우리가 신실하지 못할 때에도, 주님은 우리에게 신실하게 대하십니다. 왜냐하면 그분은 거짓이 없으시기 때문입니다.
(13) If we are faithless, He remains faithful [true to His word and His righteous character], for He cannot deny Himself.
2:14-26 = Nasihat dalam menghadapi pengajar yang sesat
(14) Ingatkanlah dan pesankanlah semuanya itu dengan sungguh-sungguh kepada mereka di hadapan Allah, agar jangan mereka bersilat kata, karena hal itu sama sekali tidak berguna, malah mengacaukan orang yang mendengarnya.
(14) 그대는 성도들을 가르칠 때에 하나님 앞에서 말다툼을 하지 않도록 주의를 주십시오. 말로 하는 논쟁은 아무에게도 도움이 안 될 뿐더러, 그것을 듣는 사람들도 망하게 합니다.
(14) {An Unashamed Workman}Remind the people of these facts, and solemnly charge them in the presence of God to avoid petty controversy over words, which does no good, and [upsets and undermines and] ruins [the faith of] those who listen.
(15) Usahakanlah supaya engkau layak di hadapan Allah sebagai seorang pekerja yang tidak usah malu, yang berterus terang memberitakan perkataan kebenaran itu.
(15) 그대 스스로 하나님께 인정받는 선한 사람이 되도록 힘쓰고, 하나님을 열심히 섬기십시오. 진리의 말씀을 올바르게 가르쳐서 부끄러움이 없는 일꾼이 되도록 노력하십시오.
(15) Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.
(16) Tetapi hindarilah omongan yang kosong dan yang tak suci yang hanya menambah kefasikan.
(16) 쓸모없는 세상적인 것들을 이야기하는 사람들을 피하십시오. 그런 이야기들은 하나님으로부터 점점 더 멀어지게 할 뿐입니다.
(16) But avoid all irreverent babble and godless chatter [with its profane, empty words], for it will lead to further ungodliness,
(17) Perkataan mereka menjalar seperti penyakit kanker. Di antara mereka termasuk Himeneus dan Filetus,
(17) 그들의 거짓된 가르침은 암처럼 퍼지게 되는데, 후메내오와 빌레도가 그런 가르침을 전한 사람입니다.
(17) and their teaching will spread like gangrene. So it is with Hymenaeus and Philetus,
(18) yang telah menyimpang dari kebenaran dengan mengajarkan bahwa kebangkitan kita telah berlangsung dan dengan demikian merusak iman sebagian orang.
(18) 그들은 진리의 말씀을 떠났습니다. 부활은 이미 옛날에 일어났다고 말하며 믿음이 약한 자들을 넘어뜨리고 있습니다.
(18) who have deviated from the truth. They claim that the resurrection has already taken place, and they undermine the faith of some.
(19) Tetapi dasar yang diletakkan Allah itu teguh dan meterainya ialah: "Tuhan mengenal siapa kepunyaan-Nya" dan "Setiap orang yang menyebut nama Tuhan hendaklah meninggalkan kejahatan."
(19) 그러나 하나님의 든든한 터는 결코 무너지지 않습니다. 그 터 위에 “주님은 주님께 속한 자를 다 알고 계신다”라는 말씀과 “주님을 믿는다고 말하는 자는 악을 행해서는 안 된다”라는 말씀이 기록되어 있습니다.
(19) Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God [which He has laid] stands [sure and unshaken despite attacks], bearing this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of the Lord stand apart from wickedness and withdraw from wrongdoing."
(20) Dalam rumah yang besar bukan hanya terdapat perabot dari emas dan perak, melainkan juga dari kayu dan tanah; yang pertama dipakai untuk maksud yang mulia dan yang terakhir untuk maksud yang kurang mulia.
(20) 큰 집에는 금그릇과 은그릇이 있습니다. 그러나 나무그릇과 흙으로 빚은 그릇 또한 있습니다. 그 그릇 가운데 특별히 귀하게 쓰이는 그릇도 있지만 평범하게 쓰이는 그릇도 있을 것입니다.
(20) Now in a large house there are not only vessels and objects of gold and silver, but also vessels and objects of wood and of earthenware, and some are for honorable (noble, good) use and some for dishonorable (ignoble, common).
(21) Jika seorang menyucikan dirinya dari hal-hal yang jahat, ia akan menjadi perabot rumah untuk maksud yang mulia, ia dikuduskan, dipandang layak untuk dipakai tuannya dan disediakan untuk setiap pekerjaan yang mulia.
(21) 만약 누구든지 악을 멀리하고 자신을 깨끗하게 하면, 주인이신 주님이 쓰기에 귀하고 거룩한 그릇이 될 것입니다. 그런 사람은 언제나 좋은 일에 쓰일 수 있는 준비된 사람입니다.
(21) Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things [which are dishonorable—disobedient, sinful], he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified [set apart for a special purpose and], useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.
(22) Sebab itu jauhilah nafsu orang muda, kejarlah keadilan, kesetiaan, kasih dan damai bersama-sama dengan mereka yang berseru kepada Tuhan dengan hati yang murni.
(22) 젊은 사람들이 빠지기 쉬운 죄들을 멀리하십시오. 깨끗한 마음을 가지고 주님을 신뢰하는 사람들과 함께 바르게 살려고 노력하며, 믿음과 사랑과 평안을 추구하기 바랍니다.
(22) Run away from youthful lusts—pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those [believers] who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
(23) Hindarilah soal-soal yang dicari-cari, yang bodoh dan tidak layak. Engkau tahu bahwa soal-soal itu menimbulkan pertengkaran,
(23) 어리석고 무식한 논쟁을 피하십시오. 그런 논쟁은 더 큰 싸움만 일으킬 뿐입니다.
(23) But have nothing to do with foolish and ignorant speculations [useless disputes over unedifying, stupid controversies], since you know that they produce strife and give birth to quarrels.
(24) sedangkan seorang hamba Tuhan tidak boleh bertengkar, tetapi harus ramah terhadap semua orang. Ia harus cakap mengajar, sabar
(24) 주님의 종은 다투지 말고, 모든 사람에게 친절히 대하고 잘 가르치며, 오래 참아야 합니다.
(24) The servant of the Lord must not participate in quarrels, but must be kind to everyone [even-tempered, preserving peace, and he must be], skilled in teaching, patient and tolerant when wronged.
(25) dan dengan lemah lembut dapat menuntun orang yang suka melawan, sebab mungkin Tuhan memberikan kesempatan kepada mereka untuk bertobat dan memimpin mereka sehingga mereka mengenal kebenaran,
(25) 또한 진리를 거역하는 자들에게도 온유한 마음으로 가르쳐야 합니다. 그러면 하나님께서 그들의 마음을 변화시켜 진리를 따르도록 만드실 것입니다.
(25) He must correct those who are in opposition with courtesy and gentleness in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and be led to the knowledge of the truth [accurately understanding and welcoming it],
(26) dan dengan demikian mereka menjadi sadar kembali, karena terlepas dari jerat Iblis yang telah mengikat mereka pada kehendaknya.
(26) 마귀는 그들을 올무에 묶어 두고 제멋대로 하려고 했지만, 결국 그들은 하나님의 뜻을 따라 살게 될 것입니다.
(26) and that they may come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.
