6:1-40 = Gideon diangkat menjadi hakim
(1) Tetapi orang Israel melakukan apa yang jahat di mata TUHAN; sebab itu TUHAN menyerahkan mereka ke dalam tangan orang Midian, tujuh tahun lamanya,
(1) 이스라엘 백성은 또다시 여호와께서 보시기에 나쁜 일을 했습니다. 그래서 여호와께서는 미디안 백성이 칠 년 동안, 이스라엘을 다스리게 하셨습니다.
(1) {Israel Oppressed by Midian}Then the Israelites did evil in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD gave them into the hand of Midian for seven years.
(2) dan selama itu orang Midian berkuasa atas orang Israel. Karena takutnya kepada orang Midian itu, maka orang Israel membuat tempat-tempat perlindungan di pegunungan, yakni gua-gua dan kubu-kubu.
(2) 미디안 사람들은 매우 강했으며, 이스라엘 사람들을 잔인하게 대했습니다. 그래서 이스라엘 사람들은 산에 있는 동굴이나 산성에 숨기도 했습니다.
(2) The [powerful] hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of Midian the sons of Israel made for themselves the dens (hideouts) which were in the mountains, and the caves and the [mountain] strongholds.
(3) Setiap kali orang Israel selesai menabur, datanglah orang Midian, orang Amalek dan orang-orang dari sebelah timur, lalu maju mendatangi mereka;
(3) 이스라엘 사람들이 농사를 지을 때마다 미디안 사람들과 아말렉 사람들과 동쪽의 다른 사람들이 와서 이스라엘 사람들을 공격했습니다.
(3) For it was whenever Israel had sown [their seed] that the Midianites would come up with the Amalekites and the people of the east and go up against them.
(4) berkemahlah orang-orang itu di daerah mereka, dan memusnahkan hasil tanah itu sampai ke dekat Gaza, dan tidak meninggalkan bahan makanan apapun di Israel, juga domba, atau lembu atau keledaipun tidak.
(4) 그들은 이스라엘 땅에 진을 쳤습니다. 그리고 그들은 이스라엘 사람들이 심어 놓은 농작물을 망쳐 놓았습니다. 그들은 가사 땅에까지 그런 짓을 했습니다. 그들은 이스라엘 사람들이 먹을 것을 남겨 놓지 않았습니다. 양이든, 소든, 나귀든, 하나도 남겨 놓지 않았습니다.
(4) So they would camp against them and destroy the crops of the land as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance in Israel as well as no sheep, ox, or donkey.
(5) Sebab orang-orang itu datang maju dengan ternaknya dan kemahnya, dan datangnya itu berbanyak-banyak seperti belalang. Orang-orangnya dan unta-untanya tidak terhitung banyaknya, sekaliannya datang ke negeri itu untuk memusnahkannya,
(5) 미디안 사람들이 와서 그 땅에 진을 쳤습니다. 그들은 천막과 가축을 가지고 왔는데, 마치 메뚜기 떼와 같았습니다. 사람과 낙타가 너무 많아서 셀 수 없을 정도였습니다. 미디안 사람들은 그 땅에 들어와서 그 땅을 못 쓰게 만들어 놓았습니다.
(5) For they would come up with their livestock and their tents, and they would come in as numerous as locusts; both they and their camels were innumerable. So they came into the land to devastate it.
(6) sehingga orang Israel menjadi sangat melarat oleh perbuatan orang Midian itu. Lalu berserulah orang Israel kepada TUHAN.
(6) 이스라엘은 미디안 사람들의 약탈 때문에 매우 가난해졌습니다. 그래서 여호와께 도와 달라고 부르짖었습니다.
(6) So Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites, and the Israelites cried out to the LORD [for help].
(7) Ketika orang Israel berseru kepada TUHAN karena orang Midian itu,
(7) 이스라엘 사람들은 여호와께 미디안 사람들에게서 구해 달라고 부르짖었습니다.
(7) Now it came about when they cried out to the LORD because of Midian,
(8) maka TUHAN mengutus seorang nabi kepada orang Israel, yang berkata kepada mereka: "Beginilah firman TUHAN, Allah Israel: Akulah yang menuntun kamu keluar dari Mesir dan yang membawa kamu keluar dari rumah perbudakan.
(8) 그래서 여호와께서는 이스라엘 사람들에게 한 예언자를 보내 주셨습니다. 그 예언자가 말했습니다. “이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨소. ‘나는 너희가 노예로 있던 땅, 이집트에서 너희를 이끌어 내었다.
(8) that the LORD sent a prophet to the Israelites, and he said to them, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'I brought you up from Egypt and brought you out of the house of slavery.
(9) Aku melepaskan kamu dari tangan orang Mesir dan dari tangan semua orang yang menindas kamu, bahkan Aku menghalau mereka dari depanmu dan negeri mereka Kuberikan kepadamu.
(9) 나는 이집트 백성에게서 너희를 구해 주었다. 또 나는 가나안의 모든 백성을 쫓아 내고 그 땅을 너희에게 주었다.
(9) And I rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of all who oppressed you, and drove them out before you and gave you their land,
(10) Dan Aku telah berfirman kepadamu: Akulah TUHAN, Allahmu, maka janganlah kamu menyembah allah orang Amori, yang negerinya kamu diami ini. Tetapi kamu tidak mendengarkan firman-Ku itu."
(10) 그 때에 내가 너희에게 말했다. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와다. 너희는 아모리 사람의 땅에서 살게 될 것이다. 하지만 너희는 그들의 신을 섬겨서는 안 된다. 그러나 너희는 나의 말에 순종하지 않았다.’”
(10) and I said to you, "I am the LORD your God; you shall not fear the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live." But you have not listened to and obeyed My voice.'"
(11) Kemudian datanglah Malaikat TUHAN dan duduk di bawah pohon tarbantin di Ofra, kepunyaan Yoas, orang Abiezer itu, sedang Gideon, anaknya, mengirik gandum dalam tempat pemerasan anggur agar tersembunyi bagi orang Midian.
(11) 여호와의 천사가 오브라의 상수리나무 아래에 와서 앉았습니다. 그 나무는 아비에셀 자손인 요아스의 것이었습니다. 요아스는 기드온의 아버지였습니다. 기드온은 미디안 사람들에게 들키지 않으려고, 포도주틀에서 밀을 타작하고 있었습니다.
(11) {Gideon Is Visited}Now the Angel of the LORD came and sat under the terebinth tree at Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, and his son Gideon was beating wheat in the wine press [instead of the threshing floor] to [hide it and] save it from the Midianites.
(12) Malaikat TUHAN menampakkan diri kepadanya dan berfirman kepadanya, demikian: "TUHAN menyertai engkau, ya pahlawan yang gagah berani."
(12) 여호와의 천사가 기드온에게 나타나 말했습니다. “힘센 용사여! 여호와께서 너와 함께 계신다.”
(12) And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him and said to him, "The LORD is with you, O brave man."
(13) Jawab Gideon kepada-Nya: "Ah, tuanku, jika TUHAN menyertai kami, mengapa semuanya ini menimpa kami? Di manakah segala perbuatan-perbuatan-yang ajaib yang diceritakan oleh nenek moyang kami kepada kami, ketika mereka berkata: Bukankah TUHAN telah menuntun kita keluar dari Mesir? Tetapi sekarang TUHAN membuang kami dan menyerahkan kami ke dalam cengkeraman orang Midian."
(13) 그러자 기드온이 말했습니다. “무슨 말씀입니까? 여호와께서 우리와 함께 계시다면, 왜 이토록 많은 괴로움을 겪어야 합니까? 우리 조상들은 우리에게 여호와께서는 많은 기적을 일으키셨다고 이야기해 주었습니다. 또 여호와께서 우리 조상들을 이집트에서 이끌어 내셨다고도 말해 주었습니다. 그렇지만 여호와께서는 지금 우리를 버리셨습니다. 여호와께서는 우리를 미디안 사람들에게 정복당하게 하셨습니다.”
(13) But Gideon said to him, "Please my lord, if the LORD is with us, then why has all this happened to us? And where are all His wondrous works which our fathers told us about when they said, 'Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?' But now the LORD has abandoned us and put us into the hand of Midian."
(14) Lalu berpalinglah TUHAN kepadanya dan berfirman: "Pergilah dengan kekuatanmu ini dan selamatkanlah orang Israel dari cengkeraman orang Midian. Bukankah Aku mengutus engkau!"
(14) 여호와께서 기드온을 향해 말씀하셨습니다. “너에게는 이스라엘 백성을 구할 능력이 있으니, 가서 너의 백성을 미디안 사람에게서 구하여라. 내가 너를 보낸다.”
(14) The LORD turned to him and said, "Go in this strength of yours and save Israel from the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you?"
(15) Tetapi jawabnya kepada-Nya: "Ah Tuhanku, dengan apakah akan kuselamatkan orang Israel? Ketahuilah, kaumku adalah yang paling kecil di antara suku Manasye dan akupun seorang yang paling muda di antara kaum keluargaku."
(15) 그러자 기드온이 대답했습니다. “하지만 주여, 제가 어떻게 이스라엘을 구할 수 있겠습니까? 제 집안은 므낫세 지파 중에서도 가장 약합니다. 그리고 저는 제 집안에서도 가장 보잘것 없는 사람입니다.”
(15) But Gideon said to Him, "Please Lord, how am I to rescue Israel? Behold, my family is the least [significant] in Manasseh, and I am the youngest (smallest) in my father's house."
(16) Berfirmanlah TUHAN kepadanya: "Tetapi Akulah yang menyertai engkau, sebab itu engkau akan memukul kalah orang Midian itu sampai habis."
(16) 여호와께서 기드온에게 대답하셨습니다. “내가 너와 함께할 것이다. 너는 마치 단 한 사람하고만 싸우는 것처럼 미디안의 군대와 싸워 쉽게 물리칠 것이다.”
(16) The LORD answered him, "I will certainly be with you, and you will strike down the Midianites as [if they were only] one man."
(17) Maka jawabnya kepada-Nya: "Jika sekiranya aku mendapat kasih karunia di mata-Mu, maka berikanlah kepadaku tanda, bahwa Engkau sendirilah yang berfirman kepadaku.
(17) 그러자 기드온이 여호와께 말했습니다. “만일 제가 주님께 은혜를 입었다면 저에게 증거를 주십시오. 저와 이야기하고 있는 분이 정말 주님이시라는 것을 보여 주십시오.
(17) Gideon replied to Him, "If I have found any favor in Your sight, then show me a sign that it is You who speaks with me.
(18) Janganlah kiranya pergi dari sini, sampai aku datang kepada-Mu membawa persembahanku dan meletakkannya di hadapan-Mu." Firman-Nya: "Aku akan tinggal, sampai engkau kembali."
(18) 여기에서 기다려 주십시오. 제가 다시 돌아올 때까지 가지 마십시오. 제가 예물을 가져와서 주 앞에 바치겠습니다.” 그러자 여호와께서 “네가 돌아올 때까지 기다리겠다”라고 대답하셨습니다.
(18) Please do not depart from here until I come back to You, and bring my offering and place it before You." And He said, "I will wait until you return."
(19) Masuklah Gideon ke dalam, lalu mengolah seekor anak kambing dan roti yang tidak beragi dari seefa tepung; ditaruhnya daging itu ke dalam bakul dan kuahnya ke dalam periuk, dibawanya itu kepada-Nya ke bawah pohon tarbantin, lalu disuguhkannya.
(19) 기드온은 들어가서 어린 염소를 요리했습니다. 기드온은 또 한 에바쯤 되는 가루로 누룩을 넣지 않고 만든 빵인 무교병을 만들고, 고기와 함께 바구니에 담았습니다. 그리고 국도 그릇에 담았습니다. 기드온은 그것들을 상수리나무 아래로 가지고 가서 여호와의 천사에게 드렸습니다.
(19) Then Gideon went and prepared a young goat and unleavened bread from an ephah of flour. The meat he put in a basket and the broth in a pot, and he brought the food to Him under the oak (terebinth) and presented it.
(20) Berfirmanlah Malaikat Allah kepadanya: "Ambillah daging dan roti yang tidak beragi itu, letakkanlah ke atas batu ini, dan curahkan kuahnya." Maka diperbuatnya demikian.
(20) 하나님의 천사가 기드온에게 말했습니다. “그 고기와 누룩을 넣지 않고 만든 빵인 무교병을, 저기 바위 위에 올려 놓아라. 그리고 국을 그 위에 부어라.” 기드온은 천사가 시키는 대로 했습니다.
(20) The Angel of God said to him, "Take the meat and unleavened bread and lay them on this rock, and pour out the broth [over them]." And he did so.
(21) Dan Malaikat TUHAN mengulurkan tongkat yang ada di tangan-Nya; dengan ujungnya disinggung-Nya daging dan roti itu; maka timbullah api dari batu itu dan memakan habis daging dan roti itu. Kemudian hilanglah Malaikat TUHAN dari pandangannya.
(21) 여호와의 천사는 손에 지팡이를 들고 있었는데, 지팡이 끝을 고기와 무교병에 대자 바위에서 불길이 치솟았습니다. 불이 고기와 무교병을 완전히 태워 버렸습니다. 그리고 나서 여호와의 천사는 사라졌습니다.
(21) Then the Angel of the LORD put out the end of the staff that was in His hand and touched the meat and the unleavened bread; and fire flared up from the rock and consumed the meat and the unleavened bread. Then the Angel of the LORD vanished from his sight.
(22) Maka tahulah Gideon, bahwa itulah Malaikat TUHAN, lalu katanya: "Celakalah aku, Tuhanku ALLAH! sebab memang telah kulihat Malaikat TUHAN dengan berhadapan muka."
(22) 그제서야 기드온은 자기가 여호와의 천사와 이야기하고 있었다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 기드온은 “주 여호와여! 나를 살려 주십시오. 내가 여호와의 천사를 직접 보았습니다”라고 소리쳤습니다.
(22) When Gideon realized [without any doubt] that He was the Angel of the LORD, he declared, "Oh no, Lord GOD! For now I have seen the Angel of the LORD face to face [and I am doomed]!"
(23) Tetapi berfirmanlah TUHAN kepadanya: "Selamatlah engkau! Jangan takut, engkau tidak akan mati."
(23) 여호와께서는 기드온에게 “안심하여라. 두려워하지 마라. 너는 죽지 않을 것이다” 하고 말씀하셨습니다.
(23) The LORD said to him, "Peace to you, do not be afraid; you shall not die."
(24) Lalu Gideon mendirikan mezbah di sana bagi TUHAN dan menamainya: TUHAN itu keselamatan. Mezbah itu masih ada sampai sekarang di Ofra, kota orang Abiezer.
(24) 그래서 기드온은 그 곳에 여호와께 예배드릴 제단을 쌓고, 그 제단을 여호와 살롬이라고 불렀습니다. 그 제단은 아직도 아비에셀 사람들이 살고 있는 오브라에 있습니다.
(24) Then Gideon built an altar there to the LORD and named it The LORD is Peace. To this day it is still in Ophrah, of the Abiezrites.
(25) Pada malam itu juga TUHAN berfirman kepadanya: "Ambillah seekor lembu jantan kepunyaan ayahmu, yakni lembu jantan yang kedua, berumur tujuh tahun, runtuhkanlah mezbah Baal kepunyaan ayahmu dan tebanglah tiang berhala yang di dekatnya.
(25) 그 날 밤, 여호와께서 기드온에게 말씀하셨습니다. “네 아버지의 수소와 일곱 살 된 다른 수소를 이끌고 오너라. 네 아버지의 바알 제단을 헐어 버려라. 그 곁에 있는 아세라 우상도 찍어 버려라.
(25) Now on that same night the LORD said to Gideon, "Take your father's bull, the second bull seven years old, and tear down the altar of Baal that belongs to your father, and cut down the Asherah that is beside it;
(26) Kemudian dirikanlah mezbah bagi TUHAN, Allahmu, di atas kubu pertahanan ini dengan disusun baik, lalu ambillah lembu jantan yang kedua dan persembahkanlah korban bakaran dengan kayu tiang berhala yang akan kautebang itu."
(26) 그리고 네 하나님 여호와를 위해 성에서 가장 높은 곳에 제단을 쌓아라. 돌들을 올바른 순서대로 쌓아라. 그리고 나서 수소를 죽여 그 제단 위에서 태워 드리는 제사인 번제로 드려라. 아세라 우상을 찍어서 나온 나무로 네 제물을 불살라라.”
(26) and build an altar to the LORD your God on top of this mountain stronghold [with stones laid down] in an orderly way. Then take the second bull and offer a burnt sacrifice using the wood of the Asherah which you shall cut down."
(27) Kemudian Gideon membawa sepuluh orang hambanya dan diperbuatnyalah seperti yang difirmankan TUHAN kepadanya. Tetapi karena ia takut kepada kaum keluarganya dan kepada orang-orang kota itu untuk melakukan hal itu pada waktu siang, maka dilakukannyalah pada waktu malam.
(27) 기드온은 자기 종 열 명을 데리고, 여호와께서 하라고 하신 일을 했습니다. 그러나 기드온은 자기 가족과 성 사람들이 자기를 볼까봐 두려워서 그 일을 낮에 하지 않고 밤에 했습니다.
(27) Then Gideon took ten men of his servants and did just as the LORD had told him; but because he was too afraid of his father's household (relatives) and the men of the city to do it during daylight, he did it at night.
(28) Ketika orang-orang kota itu bangun pagi-pagi, tampaklah telah dirobohkan mezbah Baal itu, telah ditebang tiang berhala yang di dekatnya dan telah dikorbankan lembu jantan yang kedua di atas mezbah yang didirikan itu.
(28) 이튿날 아침에 성 사람들이 일어나 보니, 바알을 위한 제단이 무너져 있었습니다. 그리고 그 곁에 있는 아세라 우상도 찍혀 있었습니다. 성 사람들은 기드온이 쌓은 제단을 보았습니다. 그 제단 위에는 수소가 제물로 바쳐져 있었습니다.
(28) {The Altar of Baal Destroyed}Early the next morning when the men of the city got up, they discovered that the altar of Baal was torn down, and the Asherah which was beside it was cut down, and the second bull was offered on the altar which had been built.
(29) Berkatalah mereka seorang kepada yang lain: "Siapakah yang melakukan hal itu?" Setelah diperiksa dan ditanya-tanya, maka kata orang: "Gideon bin Yoas, dialah yang melakukan hal itu."
(29) 성 사람들은 “누가 이런 짓을 했느냐?” 하고 물었습니다. 그들은 그 일을 한 사람을 찾으려고 서로 캐묻고 자세히 조사했습니다. 그 때에 누가 말했습니다. “요아스의 아들 기드온이다.”
(29) So they said to one another, "Who has done this thing?" When they searched about and inquired, they were told, "Gideon the son of Joash did it."
(30) Sesudah itu berkatalah orang-orang kota itu kepada Yoas: "Bawalah anakmu itu ke luar; dia harus mati, karena ia telah merobohkan mezbah Baal dan karena ia telah menebang tiang berhala yang di dekatnya."
(30) 그래서 그들은 요아스에게 말했습니다. “당신의 아들을 끌어 내시오. 그놈이 바알의 제단을 헐어 버렸소. 그놈이 제단 곁에 있는 아세라 우상도 찍어 버렸소. 그러니 당신의 아들은 죽어야 하오.”
(30) Then the men of the city said to Joash, "Bring out your son, so that he may be executed, because he has torn down the altar of Baal and cut down the Asherah which was beside it."
(31) Tetapi jawab Yoas kepada semua orang yang mengerumuninya itu: "Kamu mau berjuang membela Baal? Atau kamu mau menolong dia? Siapa yang berjuang membela Baal akan dihukum mati sebelum pagi. Jika Baal itu allah, biarlah ia berjuang membela dirinya sendiri, setelah mezbahnya dirobohkan orang."
(31) 요아스는 자기에게 몰려온 화가 난 무리에게 말했습니다. “당신들은 바알의 편을 들 셈이요? 바알을 위할 생각이요? 누구든지 바알의 편을 드는 사람은 이 아침에 죽임을 당할 것이오. 여기 이렇게 무너진 것은 바알의 제단이오. 바알이 과연 여러분들의 신이요? 바알이 신이라면 바알 스스로가 싸우게 하시오.”
(31) But Joash said to all who stood against him, "Will you plead for Baal? Will you save him? Whoever pleads for Baal shall be put to death while it is still morning. If Baal is a god, let him defend himself, because someone has torn down his altar."
(32) Dan pada hari itu diberikan oranglah nama Yerubaal kepada Gideon, karena kata orang: "Biarlah Baal berjuang dengan dia, setelah dirobohkannya mezbahnya itu."
(32) 그래서 그 날, 기드온은 여룹바알이라는 이름을 얻었는데, 그 뜻은 ‘바알 스스로 싸우게 하라’입니다. 기드온을 이렇게 부른 것은 기드온이 바알의 제단을 무너뜨렸기 때문입니다.
(32) Therefore on that day he named Gideon Jerubbaal, meaning, "Let Baal plead," because he had torn down his altar.
(33) Seluruh orang Midian dan orang Amalek dan orang-orang dari sebelah timur telah berkumpul bersama-sama; mereka telah menyeberang dan berkemah di lembah Yizreel.
(33) 모든 미디안 사람과 아말렉 사람과 동쪽의 다른 백성들이 함께 모였습니다. 그들은 요단 강을 건너서 이스르엘 골짜기에 진을 쳤습니다.
(33) Then all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the people of the east assembled together; and they crossed over [the Jordan] and camped in the Valley of Jezreel.
(34) Pada waktu itu Roh TUHAN menguasai Gideon; ditiupnyalah sangkakala dan orang-orang Abiezer dikerahkan untuk mengikuti dia.
(34) 여호와의 영이 기드온에게 들어갔습니다. 기드온은 나팔을 불어 아비에셀 사람들이 자기를 따르게 했습니다.
(34) So the Spirit of the LORD clothed Gideon [and empowered him]; and he blew a trumpet, and the Abiezrites were called together [as a militia] to follow him.
(35) Juga dikirimnya pesan kepada seluruh suku Manasye dan orang-orang inipun dikerahkan untuk mengikuti dia. Dikirimnya pula pesan kepada suku Asyer, Zebulon dan Naftali, dan orang-orang inipun maju untuk menggabungkan diri dengan mereka.
(35) 기드온은 므낫세 온 땅에 명령을 받고 심부름 하는 사람을 보냈습니다. 므낫세 백성도 부름을 받고 기드온을 따랐습니다. 기드온은 아셀과 스불론과 납달리 백성에게도 심부름 하는 사람을 보냈습니다. 그래서 그들도 올라와 기드온과 그의 군대를 맞이했습니다.
(35) He sent messengers throughout [the tribe of] Manasseh, and the fighting men were also called together to follow him; and he sent messengers to [the tribes of] Asher, Zebulun, and Naphtali, and they came up to meet them.
(36) Kemudian berkatalah Gideon kepada Allah: "Jika Engkau mau menyelamatkan orang Israel dengan perantaraanku, seperti yang Kaufirmankan itu,
(36) 그 때에 기드온이 하나님께 말했습니다. “주께서는 제가 이스라엘을 구원하는 것을 도와 주겠다고 말씀하셨습니다.
(36) {Sign of the Fleece}Then Gideon said to God, "If You are going to rescue Israel through me, as You have spoken,
(37) maka aku membentangkan guntingan bulu domba di tempat pengirikan; apabila hanya di atas guntingan bulu itu ada embun, tetapi seluruh tanah di situ tinggal kering, maka tahulah aku, bahwa Engkau mau menyelamatkan orang Israel dengan perantaraanku, seperti yang Kaufirmankan."
(37) 보십시오! 제가 타작 마당에 양털 한 뭉치를 놓겠습니다. 양털에만 이슬이 맺히고, 다른 땅은 모두 마르게 해 주십시오. 그러면 주께서 저를 쓰셔서 이스라엘을 구원하시겠다고 말씀하신 것을 믿겠습니다.”
(37) behold, I will put a fleece of [freshly sheared] wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece, and it is dry on all the ground [around it], then I will know that You will rescue Israel through me, as You have said."
(38) Dan demikianlah terjadi; sebab keesokan harinya pagi-pagi ia bangun, dipulasnya guntingan bulu itu dan diperasnya air embun dari guntingan bulu itu, secawan penuh air.
(38) 기드온이 말한 대로 되었습니다. 기드온이 이튿날 아침 일찍 일어나 양털을 짰더니, 물이 한 그릇 가득히 나왔습니다.
(38) And it was so. When he got up early the next morning and squeezed the dew out of the fleece, he wrung from it a bowl full of water.
(39) Lalu berkatalah Gideon kepada Allah: "Janganlah kiranya murka-Mu bangkit terhadap aku, apabila aku berkata lagi, sekali ini saja; biarkanlah aku satu kali lagi saja mengambil percobaan dengan guntingan bulu itu: sekiranya yang kering hanya guntingan bulu itu, dan di atas seluruh tanah itu ada embun."
(39) 기드온이 다시 하나님께 말했습니다. “저에게 화내지 말아 주십시오. 한 번만 더 말씀드리겠습니다. 한 번만 더 시험해 보게 해 주십시오. 이번에는 양털은 마르게 하시고, 그 주변의 땅은 이슬로 젖게 해 주십시오.”
(39) Then Gideon said to God, "Do not let your anger burn against me, so that I may speak once more. Please let me make a test once more with the fleece; now let only the fleece be dry, and let there be dew on all the ground."
(40) Dan demikianlah diperbuat Allah pada malam itu, sebab hanya guntingan bulu itu yang kering, dan di atas seluruh tanah itu ada embun.
(40) 그 날 밤, 하나님께서는 기드온이 말한 대로 하셨습니다. 양털은 말라 있었으나, 그 주변의 땅은 이슬로 젖어 있었습니다.
(40) God did so that night; for it was dry only on the fleece, and there was dew on all the ground [around it].
