5:1-12 = Tabut TUHAN di tanah orang Filistin
(1) Sesudah orang Filistin merampas tabut Allah, maka mereka membawanya dari Eben-Haezer ke Asdod.
(1) 블레셋 사람들은 하나님의 궤를 빼앗아 그것을 에벤에셀에서 아스돗으로 가지고 갔습니다.
(1) {Capture of the Ark Provokes God}Then the Philistines took the ark of God, and they brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod.
(2) Orang Filistin mengambil tabut Allah itu, dibawanya masuk ke kuil Dagon dan diletakkannya di sisi Dagon.
(2) 블레셋 사람들은 하나님의 궤를 다곤 신전에 가지고 가서 다곤 신상 곁에 두었습니다.
(2) They took the ark of God and brought it into the house of Dagon and set it beside [the image of] Dagon [their chief idol].
(3) Ketika orang-orang Asdod bangun pagi-pagi pada keesokan harinya, tampaklah Dagon terjatuh dengan mukanya ke tanah di hadapan tabut TUHAN; lalu mereka mengambil Dagon dan mengembalikannya ke tempatnya.
(3) 아스돗 백성이 이튿날 아침에 일찍 일어나 보니, 다곤 신상이 얼굴을 땅에 대고 여호와의 궤 앞에 쓰러져 있었습니다. 그래서 아스돗 백성은 다곤 신상을 제자리에 다시 올려 놓았습니다.
(3) When the people of Ashdod got up early the next day, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the LORD. So they took Dagon and returned him to his place.
(4) Tetapi ketika keesokan harinya mereka bangun pagi-pagi, tampaklah Dagon terjatuh dengan mukanya ke tanah di hadapan tabut TUHAN, tetapi kepala Dagon dan kedua belah tangannya terpenggal dan terpelanting ke ambang pintu, hanya badan Dagon itu yang masih tinggal.
(4) 이튿날 아침, 아스돗 백성이 잠에서 깨어 일어나 보니 다곤 신상이 또 땅에 쓰러져 있었습니다. 다곤은 여호와의 궤 앞에서 머리와 손이 부러져 몸통만 남은 채 문지방에 엎드려 있었습니다.
(4) But when they got up early the next morning, behold, Dagon had [again] fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the LORD, and his head and both palms of his hands were [lying] cut off on the threshold; only the trunk [portion] of [the idol of] Dagon was left on him.
(5) Itulah sebabnya para imam Dagon dan semua orang yang masuk ke dalam kuil Dagon tidak menginjak ambang pintu rumah Dagon yang di Asdod, sampai hari ini.
(5) 그래서 오늘날까지도 다곤의 제사장들과 아스돗의 다곤 신전에 들어가는 사람들은 그 문지방을 밟지 않습니다.
(5) This is the reason neither the priests of Dagon nor any who enter Dagon's house step on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod to this day.
(6) Tangan TUHAN menekan orang-orang Asdod itu dengan berat dan Ia membingungkan mereka: Ia menghajar mereka dengan borok-borok, baik Asdod maupun daerahnya.
(6) 여호와께서는 아스돗과 그 이웃 백성에게 벌을 주셨습니다. 여호와께서는 피부에 종기가 나는 큰 고통을 그들에게 주셨습니다.
(6) Then the hand of the LORD was heavy on the people of Ashdod, and He caused them to be dumbfounded and struck them with tumors, both Ashdod and its territory.
(7) Ketika dilihat orang-orang Asdod, bahwa demikian halnya, berkatalah mereka: "Tabut Allah Israel tidak boleh tinggal pada kita, sebab tangan-Nya keras melawan kita dan melawan Dagon, allah kita."
(7) 아스돗 백성은 그런 일이 일어나는 것을 보고 말했습니다. “이스라엘 신의 궤를 이 곳에 둘 수 없다. 하나님이 우리와 우리의 신 다곤을 벌하고 있다.”
(7) When the men of Ashdod saw what had happened, they said, "The ark of the God of Israel must not remain with us, for His hand is heavy on us and on Dagon our god."
(8) Sebab itu mereka memanggil berkumpul kepadanya semua raja kota orang Filistin dan berkata: "Apakah yang akan kita lakukan dengan tabut Allah Israel itu?" Lalu kata mereka: "Tabut Allah Israel harus dipindahkan ke Gat." Jadi mereka memindahkan tabut Allah Israel itu ke sana.
(8) 아스돗 백성은 블레셋의 다섯 왕을 모이게 하고 말했습니다. “이스라엘 신의 궤를 어떻게 하면 좋겠습니까?” 블레셋의 왕들이 대답했습니다. “이스라엘 신의 궤를 가드로 옮겨라.” 그래서 블레셋 사람들은 이스라엘 신의 궤를 가드로 옮겼습니다.
(8) So they sent word and gathered all the lords (governors) of the Philistines to them and said, "What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel?" They answered, "Let the ark of the God of Israel be brought around to Gath." So they took the ark of the God of Israel there.
(9) Tetapi setelah mereka memindahkannya, maka tangan TUHAN mendatangkan kegemparan yang sangat besar atas kota itu; Ia menghajar orang-orang kota itu, anak-anak dan orang dewasa, sehingga timbul borok-borok pada mereka.
(9) 하나님의 궤가 가드로 옮겨진 후에 여호와께서는 가드 성에 벌을 주셨습니다. 하나님은 가드의 늙은 사람과 젊은 사람 모두에게 고통을 주셨는데, 그들의 피부에도 종기가 나기 시작했습니다.
(9) But it happened that after they had taken it to Gath, the hand of the LORD was against the city, causing an extremely great panic [because of the deaths from the plague], for He struck the people of the city, both young and old, and tumors broke out on them.
(10) Lalu mereka mengantarkan tabut Allah itu ke Ekron. Tetapi sesampai tabut Allah itu di Ekron, berteriaklah orang Ekron itu, demikian: "Mereka memindahkan tabut Allah Israel itu kepada kita untuk mematikan kita dan bangsa kita."
(10) 그러자 블레셋 사람들이 하나님의 궤를 에그론으로 보냈습니다. 하나님의 궤가 에그론에 도착하자, 에그론 사람들이 소리를 질렀습니다. “왜 이스라엘 신의 궤를 우리 성으로 가지고 오는 거요? 당신들은 우리와 우리 백성을 죽일 참이요?”
(10) So they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And as the ark of God came to Ekron, the Ekronites cried out, "They have brought the ark of the God of Israel [from Gath] to us, to kill us and our people."
(11) Sebab itu mereka memanggil berkumpul semua raja kota orang Filistin itu dan berkata: "Antarkanlah tabut Allah Israel itu; biarlah itu kembali ke tempatnya, supaya jangan dimatikannya kita dan bangsa kita." Sebab di seluruh kota itu ada kegemparan maut; tangan Allah menekan orang-orang di sana dengan sangat berat:
(11) 에그론 백성은 블레셋의 왕들을 다 모이게 한 후에 그 왕들에게 말했습니다. “이스라엘 신의 궤를 원래 있던 자리로 보내시오. 그 하나님의 궤가 우리와 우리 백성을 죽이기 전에 빨리 그렇게 하시오.” 그들은 매우 두려워했습니다. 왜냐하면 하나님이 그들을 너무나 무섭게 심판하셨기 때문입니다.
(11) So they sent word and gathered all the lords of the Philistines and said, "Send away the ark of the God of Israel; let it be returned to its own place, so that it will not kill us and our people." For there was a deadly panic throughout the city; the hand of God was very heavy (severe) there.
(12) orang-orang yang tidak mati, dihajar dengan borok-borok, sehingga teriakan kota itu naik ke langit.
(12) 죽지 않고 살아 남은 사람은 피부에 종기가 나서 괴로움을 당했습니다. 그래서 온 성읍이 하늘을 향하여 크게 울부짖었습니다.
(12) The men who had not died were stricken with tumors and the cry of the city [for help] went up to heaven.
